Lift Him Up

I sing Holy is the Lord

Holy is the Lord

Seated on the throne in heaven

Holy is the Lord

Holy is the Lord

High and lifted up

He is Holy

I sing worthy is the Lord

Worthy is the Lord

Savior and Messiah to the nations

Worthy is the Lord

Worthy is the Lord

King of Kings forever

He is worthy

I lift my voice

In highest praise

To Jesus Christ

And His sweet name

Emmanuel

He’s God with us

I’ll lift Him up

I’ll lift Him up.

I sing precious is the Lord

Precious is the Lord

Gave His life for mine because He loves me

Precious is the Lord

Precious is the Lord

Highest sacrifice

He is precious

I lift my voice

In highest praise

To Jesus Christ

And His sweet name

Emmanuel

He’s God with us

I’ll lift Him up

I’ll lift Him up.

Jesus, You Are

Jesus, what a wonder

You put the stars in place

Separated earth and sky

Set the sun in space

Brought up food from fertile ground

Spoke and animals abound

Jesus, what a wonder you are

Jesus, your incredible

Came to earth a babe

Left your throne in glory

In a manger lay

Shepherds bowed in worship

Wise men brought great gifts

Jesus, how incredible you are

Jesus, your amazing

Ministered three years

Walked among the people

Joy flowed out in tears

Lowly men would hear Him

Learned men turned from Him

Jesus, how amazing you are

Jesus, you are mercy

Died upon the cross

Gave your life so freely

Paid such a big cost

Ransomed me from all my sin

Then you brought me peace within

Jesus, you are mercy to me

In all the ways of time and space

There’s no one who can take your place

I long to be in your embrace

Safe from any harm

So I will praise your mighty name

You ransomed me, Your name I’ll raise

For all the marvels you have made

Your worth is more than life

Surrounded

You surround me with your peace, Oh Lord

I am resting in your arms, I’m yours

All my worries gone away

I am calm throughout the day

Since your peace is nestled in my heart

You surround me with your joy, Oh Lord

I can face the trials that reach my door

Nothing causes me dismay

As I trust in you each day

Since your joy is nestled in my soul

You surround me with your hope, oh Lord

My future is secure, this I know

While the world is running wild

I remain both calm and mild

Since your hope is nestled way below

You surround me with your victory Lord

The enemy’s defeated by your word

All I have to do is speak

And the enemy retreats

Since your victory is mine for sure

You surround me with your love, Of Lord

I will seek you as it’s you I adore

My I never cease to praise

Your wonderful, sweet name

Since your love is mine and so much more.

More of Him

This world goes after power

Fame and fortune is their goal

They often buy things they cannot afford

And in the end they’re empty

None of these can satisfy

The emptiness that lives within their soul

I have found that living

In this world is quite a test

Day to day the choices are a chore

But this one thing I realize

Can settle my heart down

All I need is more of my Lord

More of Him in the morning

Before the breaking dawn

When darkness rules the skies in all the land

The silence is so quiet

I can listen for His voice

I can hear Him whisper all of His sweet plans

More of Him at daybreak

When morning gilds the skies

Golden beauty lines the clouds above

The sun peeks out in splendor

Reminding everyone

That this day will be filled with God’s love

More of Him in the daytime

As I work to earn my way

He guides me step by step in my pursuits

I honor Him and praise Him

From the bottom of my heart

He keeps reminding me of His great truths

More of Him at sunset

When day is growing short

He paints His awesome clouds so brilliantly

I want Him to draw closer

As the light fades into dark

The picture in the clouds goes quietly

More of Him at nighttime

When I lay my head to rest

His spirit holds my heart so tenderly

Every day I’ve spend with Him

The more I come to know

That more of Him is all I really need

You’re Welcome

There are so many times

I say Thank You Lord

For the wonderful things you have done

But oft I’m so busy

Giving Him thanks

That I don’t listen to His response

I think, if I’d listen

To hear His soft voice

The words He would say would be clear

He would once again

Tell me of His great love

As He whispers these words in my ear

Your welcome to my peace

More peace then you’ve ever known

I’ll shower it on you each day

So you’ll never feel alone

Your welcome to my joy

That bubbles up from deep within

Though trials may come in your life

My joy will help you to win

Your welcome to my healing

For sickness and heartache and pain

You no longer have to suffer

My healing will touch you again

Your welcome to my mercy

I extend it to you each day

I paid the punishment for your sin

So you can be free from your shame

Your welcome to my grace

I desire to bless you so much

By faith take the gifts that I give you

Allow me your life to touch

I feel He would go on and on

Welcoming me to His love

The list of His blessings is endless

He showers them down from above

So the next time I thank Him, I’ll listen

To see if these words He will say

And then I will take time to praise Him

Day after day after day

The Only Name

I will lift His name
High above all names
Emmanuel,  God with us
The highest praise
To His lovely name
Savior,  Messiah
Jesus Christ
There is no other name
That commands the heavens
He put the stars in place
By His spoken word
There is no other name
That contains the oceans
He draws a line where waves
Come crashing forth.
There is no other name
From which demons flee
They run and hide away
Never to return
There is no other name
By which blind men see
Darkness turns into day
When His voice is heard
Jesus, the only name
That can set me free
From the debt of sin
He brings victory
Jesus, the only name
That can heaven bring
Gives eternal life
By His suffering

I will lift His name
High above all names
Emmanuel,  God with us
The highest praise
To His lovely name
Savior,  Messiah
Jesus Christ

He Took and He Gave

When He died upon the cross that day
His love came down through time
He gathered all my sins away
And replaced them with His life
He took my unforgiveness
My bitterness and grief
And showed me what forgiveness really means
For I was undeserving
Of the mercy He gave me
Now I try to understand my brothers needs
He took my doubts and fears
Of who I really was
And showed me His great plan to change my life
For I was wandering aimless
Never touching anyone
Now I help the lost to change their lives
He took my insecurity
Of what the future holds
And showed me there’s a hope for all of time
For I was wasting all my time
On dead end pursuits
Now i can truly know that heaven will be mine
He took my lousy attitude
And the venom my mouth spewed
And showed me that His joy could overcome
For I was only happy
When things would go my way
Now this joy always reminds me He has won
He took away my anger
At all the hurts Ihad endured
And showed me that to love is so much more
For I was always lonely
And was closed off deep inside
Now I try to make myself an open door
The change He made in my life
Didn’t happen overnight
In fact He still has so much work to do
But one thing that I know
Is when I asked Him in my heart
My life became much better through and through

Before the Light

So very long ago

Our whole earth was void

Darkness filled each crevice and the air

But God said Light appear

And darkness had to flee

As in the light the darkness disappears

We all are born in darkness

just like this little earth

And slowly light is added as we grow

Learning brings us knowledge

And knowledge brings us light

And on those subjects darkness has to go

But essentially the main thing

Is to shed the light on our sin

So darkness doesn’t rule our hearts and souls

Jesus is the only Light

That can win this darkness fight

We must apply His blood by faith and we will know

Jesus is the Light

That God spoke into Darkness

Way back in the book of Genesis

Before the sun and moon

And even the stars above

This Light became the light of the world

And still today He shines

Forgivigs all mankind

If they will simply ask Him in their hearts

So free yourself from Sin

and Ask Him to come in

And let His light be shown into your heart

Words From My Savior

I open my eyes

And what do I see

My Blessed Savior

Looking at me

A smile on His face

His eyes open wide

He takes hold of my hand

And sits down at my side

“Hello Son” He says slowly

“I’ve so much to say

I want to guide you

Through all of your days.

I want to tell you

Of my wondrous plans

Drawn up I’m heaven

They’ll help you to stand

You see, trials will come

And sorrows you’ll know

These things are a part

Of what makes you grow

There’ll even be times

You’ll be sick or in pain

But what I allow

Is there for your gain

The problem that comes

And you don’t understand

Is that you think these things

Are not in my plan.

I implore you, my son

When you take time to.pray

That you also take time

To listen each day

So often you fill

Your prayers up with words

That you can’t hear me speaking

My soft, gentle words

In my words are your comfort

Your peace and your joy

So.please don’t miss out

Take time to enjoy

Then He got up and left

And the lesson was taken

When I.pray words don’t matter

It’s the listening that makes it

Restore The Land

The enemy gathers daily

Just before the dawn

To plan a way to take you down

They gather up the gossip

Rumors and lies

And start a chain to spread it all around

Wording carefully crafted

And very neatly spun

Their web of deception knows no shame

The little minions gather

One by one they flee

To the human destination with their name

The saints of God gather

Just before the dawn

To plan a way to lift you to the King

They sound aloud their prayers

For healing and strength

To fight the battles this day’s going to bring

Interceding Prayers

And praises to our God

Their voices sing a song of victory

The angels gather round

To protect the saints of God

From any and all attacks of the enemy

With which of these groups

Do you work today?

The one lifting up?

Or the one breaking down?

Because as Christians we seem

To take both sides in stride

One minute we tear up

And the next we edify.

This ought not to be

In our lives as His church

We ought to be always

Lifting up those who hurt

Gossip and tale bearing

Have no place in the body

Putting others down for fun

Is an affront to our Lord

So come on church, rise up

Let the good words win out

Let the body of Christ

Rise up with a shout

Encourage each other

Pray for the sick

Help out the lonely

Make your faith stick

If all of us would

Take the time for this plan

The church would rise up

And restore this land
