I Just Want To Thank You

I just want to thank you

For all you’ve done for me

I wouldn’t be alive without you

I just want to thank you

For your great love for me

You loved me before I knew you

 

You give me air to breath

And light so I can see

You keep me on the ground with gravity

You keep my heart beating

You keep my lungs breathing

You keep my body functioning

 

You place beauty everywhere

Like birds up in the air

They fly majestically everywhere

The trees are beautiful

The sky with clouds are full

The sun comes up and sets as usual

 

I just want to thank you

For all you’ve done for me

I wouldn’t be alive without you

I just want to thank you

For your great love for me

You loved me before I knew you

 

And then you sent your Son

Your one and only Son

To come and share your love for me

He taught the masses truth

From elderly to youth

He taught us how think and how to be

 

And then He gave His life

Became my sacrifice

And from my sin I was set free

He died to conquer sin

And He rose from death again

To give me life eternally

 

I just want to thank you

What A Savior

It’s hard to explain

This joy I have inside

It makes my disappointments

Run away and hide

When sorrow tries to come

I tell it to subside

Because the joy I have from Jesus

Will constantly abide

 

It’s hard to comprehend

This peace I have attained

When trouble comes my way

It never causes pain

When fear tries to surround me

I tell it to refrain

Because the peace I have from Jesus

Will constantly remain

 

What a Savior

What a friend

Jesus is to me

Giving Hope

Giving mercy

He is all I need

Answering my prayers

Always guiding me

Wonderful Messiah

Jesus is to me

 

Impossible to know

The depth of His great love

He showers it upon me

From heaven up above

It overflows my spirit

There is more than enough

I’m so glad He gives me

His unfailing love

 

And then there is His greatest gift

His Amazing grace

It forgives me when I falter

And lifts me when I praise

I’ll look to Him each morning

In hopes too see His face

I’ll never turn away from

His amazing grace

 

What a Savior

What a friend

Jesus is to me

Giving Hope

Giving mercy

He is all I need

Answering my prayers

Always guiding me

​In the middle of the night

With my back in pain
I cry to the Lord
Heal me again
But it seems like my words 
Are said in vain 
Oh Lord won’t you hear my prayer

Then my enemy
Speaks into my ear 
Don’t you know He sleeps 
And He cannot hear
Just forget your god 
And cry your tears
Your God doesn’t really care

But I turn my head
And I shut him out
I don’t need his words
That are full of doubt
I know just the thing 
To turn this about
I’ll just start to praise the Lord

How I love you Lord
For your mercy reigns 
You have healed before 
And will heal again
I adore you Lord
And I praise your name 
What an awesome God I serve

He is full of love
And majesty 
He is stronger than 
My enemy
He will not allow me
To see defeat
His victory’s coming soon

Now I lay my head
Back down to sleep
For I know my God
My soul will keep 
He’s my solid rock 
And He’ll always be
The Lord who will comfort me.

How I love you Lord
For your mercy reigns

It’s Not Up To Me

It’s not up to me

To save a soul

To take their sins

And make them whole

But it is up to me

To tell them of Christ

So That they can accept Him

And change their lives

 

It’s not up to me

To heal the sick

To take their pain

And help them live

But it is up to me

To help them see

The one who heals

And dries their tears

 

My task is to tell them of Jesus

And the wonders He’s done for me

To open their eyes to the light of His love

So that they will truly believe

 

It’s not up to me

To convict of sin

To judge the lost

And purify them

But it is up to me

To witness each day

Of the love of Christ

And to pray and pray

 

It’s not up to me

To look down on them

Or to think I’m better

Because I have Him

But it is up to me

To love them with all

My heart must go out

To both big and small

 

My task is to tell them of Jesus

And the wonders He’s done for me

To open their eyes to the light of His love

So that they will truly believe

 

For I do not know what tomorrow brings

It just might be their last day

I need to tell them of Jesus

And pray, and pray, and pray

His Mighty name

It thunders through the sky

The angel chorus

Sings His praise

Hosanna from on high

 

His name is Healer

With His power

He can heal all pains

Broken hearts

And wounded souls

Arise to live again

 

His name is Savior

From sins dead grasp

He brings us out of chains

Our sin is washed

As white as snow

He frees us from our shame

 

His name is Counselor

His word is truth

He guides me every day

His Holy Spirit

Teaches me

To follow in His ways

 

I hear His name

His Glorious name

His praise flows from my lips

I can’t contain

His mighty name

I long wo worship Him

 

His name is Jesus

Lord of Lords

And King of Kings is He

His mercy reaches

Down from heaven

And touches even me

 

His name is Jesus

Friend of mine

He’s always there for me

He lives within me

Every day

He gives me joy and peace

I sing His praise

I sing His name

I love to worship Him

I lift my voice

And lift my hands

With my praise offering

 

Worthy, worthy

Is the Lamb

Worthy of my praise

I will lift Him

Up today

And praise His mighty name

When I begin to think about

What Jesus did for me

I always must remember

The day He set me free

 

My sins were overwhelming

I couldn’t find my way

I tried so many other things

That just led me astray

 

But Jesus said He’d rescue me

From the depths of sin

I needed to escape my past

And find some peace within

 

Oh, what a merciful Savior

Oh, what grace divine

Jesus is my answer

Jesus now is mine

 

So I sat down and prayed a prayer

And asked Him in my heart

There was no doubt He touched me

As I felt Him from the start

 

From that day on He stayed with me

I grew in His embrace

And now I trust Him every day

To cover me with grace

 

My heart shouts out His praises

As I lift my voice in song

He’s all I ever needed

With Him I can’t go wrong

 

Oh, what a merciful Savior

Reality is hard to come by

In today’s old, mixed up world

Who knows what to believe

In the new cycle whirl

 

Artificial stories

Making headlines pop

One will never know

When the rumor stops

 

But nothings artificial

About God’s love for you

If you want something really real

He’ll always be the truth

Of His amazing grace

Or His everlasting mercy

Or His loving soft embrace

 

I couldn’t ask the Lord for more

Of His abiding peace

Or His overwhelming joy

Or His Spirit of release

 

He gives and gives then gives some more

And all He asks of me

Is to follow in His footsteps

And His disciple be

 

I couldn’t ask for blessings

Because He gives me oh so much

I couldn’t ask for miracles

I’m surrounded by His touch

 

But I can ask for guidance

That He lead me every day

And I could ask for wisdom

That I follow in His way

 

I can ask forgiveness

When I wander from His plan

And I can ask protection

In the palm of His hand

 

He gives and gives then gives some more

And all He asks of me

Is to follow in His footsteps

And His disciple be

 

There’s nothing He won’t do for me

To follow in His ways

He’ll walk with me and talk with me

For all my coming days

 

So I will lift my praises

To my Savior and my Lord

Because He’s with me forever

He’s the one that I adore

It’s hard to find the words to say
How much I love my Lord
Every day that passes by
I love Him more and more

He’s with me everywhere I go
He never leaves my side
I know I can depend on Him
For in me He abides

He talks to me with loving word
He tells makes me feel so calm
Whenever I am feeling low
He lifts me in His arms

Wonderful He is to me
Marvelous His ways
I will praise His mighty name
Every single day

He comforts me when times are hard
He sends the Spirit in
I can feel His awesome touch
As He dwells deep within

His peace does overwhelm me
Every time I turn around
There’s nothing like the peace of God
To make you safe and sound

His joy is so unspeakable
Even when times aren’t good
I feel it flooding to my soul
Like a rapid running brook

Wonderful He is to me
Marvelous His ways
I will praise His mighty name
Every single day

His mercy and His grace come last
But certainly not least
They’re always there protecting me
From the enemy
And I can so depend on them
To carry me each day
