Jesus, what a wonder

You put the stars in place

Separated earth and sky

Set the sun in space

Brought up food from fertile ground

Spoke and animals abound

Jesus, what a wonder you are

 

Jesus, your incredible

Came to earth a babe

Left your throne in glory

In a manger lay

Shepherds bowed in worship

Wise men brought great gifts

Jesus, how incredible you are

 

Jesus, your amazing

Ministered three years

Walked among the people

Joy flowed out in tears

Lowly men would hear Him

Learned men turned from Him

Jesus, how amazing you are

 

Jesus, you are mercy

Died upon the cross

Gave your life so freely

Paid such a big cost

Ransomed me from all my sin

Then you brought me peace within

Jesus, you are mercy to me

 

In all the ways of time and space

There’s no one who can take your place

I long to be in your embrace

Safe from any harm

 

So I will praise your mighty name

You ransomed me, Your name I’ll raise

For all the marvels you have made

Your worth is more than life

Surrounded

You surround me with your peace, Oh Lord

I am resting in your arms, I’m yours

All my worries gone away

I am calm throughout the day

Since your peace is nestled in my heart

 

You surround me with your joy, Oh Lord

I can face the trials that reach my door

Nothing causes me dismay

As I trust in you each day

Since your joy is nestled in my soul

 

You surround me with your hope, oh Lord

My future is secure, this I know

While the world is running wild

I remain both calm and mild

Since your hope is nestled way below

 

You surround me with your victory Lord

The enemy’s defeated by your word

All I have to do is speak

And the enemy retreats

Since your victory is mine for sure

 

You surround me with your love, Of Lord

I will seek you as it’s you I adore

My I never cease to praise

Your wonderful, sweet name

Since your love is mine and so much more.

Emmanuel,  God with us
The highest praise
To His lovely name
Savior,  Messiah
Jesus Christ
There is no other name
That commands the heavens
He put the stars in place
By His spoken word
There is no other name
That contains the oceans
He draws a line where waves
Come crashing forth.
There is no other name
From which demons flee
They run and hide away
Never to return
There is no other name
By which blind men see
Darkness turns into day
When His voice is heard
Jesus, the only name
That can set me free
From the debt of sin
He brings victory
Jesus, the only name
That can heaven bring
Gives eternal life
By His suffering

 

I will lift His name
High above all names
Emmanuel,  God with us
The highest praise
To His lovely name
Savior,  Messiah
Jesus Christ

He Took and He Gave

When He died upon the cross that day
His love came down through time
He gathered all my sins away
And replaced them with His life
He took my unforgiveness
My bitterness and grief
And showed me what forgiveness really means
For I was undeserving
Of the mercy He gave me
Now I try to understand my brothers needs
He took my doubts and fears
Of who I really was
And showed me His great plan to change my life
For I was wandering aimless
Never touching anyone
Now I help the lost to change their lives
He took my insecurity
Of what the future holds
And showed me there’s a hope for all of time
For I was wasting all my time
On dead end pursuits
Now i can truly know that heaven will be mine
He took my lousy attitude
And the venom my mouth spewed
And showed me that His joy could overcome
For I was only happy
When things would go my way
Now this joy always reminds me He has won
He took away my anger
At all the hurts Ihad endured
And showed me that to love is so much more
For I was always lonely
And was closed off deep inside
Now I try to make myself an open door
The change He made in my life
Didn’t happen overnight
In fact He still has so much work to do
But one thing that I know
Is when I asked Him in my heart
My life became much better through and through

Awake to the Fact

Rumor has it grace has won

There’s no longer need for repentance

I am here to say this is false

And hell is still the death sentence

 

Jesus told us more of Hell

Then heaven when He spoke

If He so strongly used those words

Isn’t it time we awoke

 

Awake to the fact that we still need to repent

Awake to the fact that we must confess

Awake to the fact that we must ask forgiveness

For all on which we have obsessed

 

Awake to the fact that we must ask

Christ Jesus into our heart

And we must make Him our Lord and King

And promise to never depart

 

And we must Awake to not sin again

But do all our best to be Holy

Live our life like our Lord Jesus  Christ

Then grace takes over the story.

 

So do not be fooled by the lies that exist

That all you need is His grace

You must step out in faith and do what He says

Then heaven will be your place

Putting Him first

So put your

Don’t let your world

That puts your mind at ease

So many ways to praise Him
So many things He’s done
So don’t forget to start each day

If you want to touch God

Each and every day

Then all you have to do is pray

If you want to reach Jesus

Each and every day

Then all you have to do is pray

 

It’s really not too difficult

Or hard to comprehend

Just talk to Him like any other friend

He’s always got an ear

Open to your heartfelt words

He will listen close to every prayer you send

 

Prayer is the answer

To every earthly need

It’s the way to move the heavens and the earth

Prayer is the weapon

God has given us to use

Whenever there’s a need that we observe

 

Prayer heals the sick

Prayer frees the captive

Prayer casts out demons

Prayer brings the victory

Prayer grows our faith

Prayer builds the church

 

More powerful than lightning

More effective than attack

Prayer stops the enemy cold

So easy to accomplish

So successful to employ

Prayer is a weapon that is bold

 

Let’s band together church

And really make a difference

Let’s take back this world the devil stole away

Just find a quiet place

And take a little time

To sit before the Lord and pray

I can see it in your eyes

I can hear it in your voice

You have heard the Savors call

You have finally made the choice

 

There are so many things

That will now come about

Your life will be different

There is not any doubt

 

He’ll first give you peace

More than you’ve ever known

It will fill up your soul

And then it will grow

 

Next is the awesome joy

That comes up out of your heart

It is so much more than the happiness

This world can barely impart

 

Then there’s the hope of tomorrow

Knowing His plans are all good

And our heavenly home awaits us

That is clearly understood

 

You then start to see His mercy

Intervening in trials and tests

You realize He’s there with you

And He never, ever rests

 

Then His grace becomes part of us

And we gain the desire to forgive

And our heart reaches out to the lost

As we beg them to be saved and live

 

Finally His love rises deep from within

A love greater than man ever knew

It compels us to reach out to all that we know

And try to give them life renewed

 

The radical change that takes place

When we make Jesus our Lord

Is only a starting point in our lives

A time to give others that choice.

Take Aim

I cannot imagine life without God

I cannot imagine not knowing His touch

I cannot imagine not knowing His love

I cannot imagine it at all

 

Truth is, I used to be there

Living without God

Living in an aimless life of sin

I didn’t have much hope

In what the future held

And I surely had no lasting peace within

 

But then I met the Savior

Jesus is His name

He gave His life to take away my sin

But more than that He promised

That He’d prepared a plan

So I would not go aimlessly again

 

If your destination

Is not so clear to you

And aimless is your life’s detour

Then why not come to Jesus

And see His plan for you

Take aim at being all He made you for
