The Lord is with me
Wherever I go
He is before me and behind me
He is to my right and to my left
He is above me and He guides my steps
If I should turn
He turns with me
And guides me back on the path
If I should stumble
He steadies my feet
And gently holds me up
Even if I fall
He is there to pick me up
And set me on my feet again
And if I tire
He is there to carry me

The Lord is with me
He knows my every thought
Whether good or bad
His Holy Spirit helps me see
When I have not thought right
He guides me to the truth
His wisdom comes from above
He helps me understand
Where I went wrong
Then He gives me His word
Which transforms my mind
So that I might speak with grace
To build up those around me
I listen for His voice
To tell me the words to say
Day in and day out

The Lord is with me
He knows my every deed
He knows when I do good
He knows when I do wrong
He forgives me when I mess up
Then he shows me the right way
The way to ask forgiveness
Of those I may have wronged
He keeps me from being offended
Then I ask forgiveness
When I have wronged others
He shows me the needy
So that I might help them
He shows me the sick
So that I may lay hands on them
Then He will heal them

The Lord is with me
Thus I will praise Him
I will lift my voice
I will raise my hands
I will look for His face
I will sing Hallelujah
Hosanna in the highest
Honor glory and power
To the Lamb upon the throne
Holy is He
High and lifted up
Worthy of my praise
Worthy of all honor
Forevermore
I will praise Him
For the Lord is with me

I was sitting here just thinking
Of what Christ has done for me
How He came down from His throne
Just to give me victory
He gave up His life to save me
Took a beating near to death
Then nails into His hands and feet
And a spear into His chest

I was thinking of His majesty
That he gave it up for me
When He laid there in a manger
And shepherds came to see
He didn’t have to come down
He could have stayed in heaven
But he loved us all so much
That He died for our redemption

Oh what great compassion
Jesus has for you and me
I have to lift my voice up high
And praise His majesty
Praise His love and mercy
Praise His wondrous grace
Praise Him with a loud voice
Lift His glorious name

Hosanna to my Jesus
Hallelujah to my King
He is ruler of the heavens
That is why I sing
He has amazing love

Your love is more spectacular than Jupiter or Mars
Your love is more extraordinary than a precious pearl
Your love is more than anything found in this old world

Your love is more astounding than thunder in the sky
Your love is more magnificent than lightning in the night
Your love is more fantastic than a brand new shiny car
Your love is more wonderful than sunsets seen afar

Jesus I don’t understand why you love me so
Yet you just keep on giving me this love down in my soul
Even when I mess up and think I’ve lost my way
You just keep forgiving me and cover me with grace

Jesus hold me closely and never let me go
Help me find a way to return to you this love
Keep me on the narrow path so one day I may be
Sitting at your throne above for all eternity

I had a heavy burden
It was so hard to bear
It always held me captive
Was with me everywhere

This burden was my sin
The lust inside of me
It made me always want more
Of everything I see

Then one day I met Jesus
He came to me with love
He said I’ll take your burden
My love will be enough

He said He’d share His yoke
It was easy and so light
I gave Him all my burden
And walked into His light

Now all I want is Jesus
He fills me with such peace
His joy has overwhelmed me
His hope sets me at ease

The burden that He took away
Still tries to hinder me
But when I look into His eyes
His love is all I see

Please give your lives to Jesus
He will your burdens take
Then you will walk in victory
Every single day

The days have gone that used to be
No longer will I wander
I’ve found the way to life and peace
Because I know the Father

He is my source for everything
That matters in this life
All that I say and do down here
Comes from His sacrifice

He sent His Son to die for me
That my sins might be clean
Now I will give my all for Him
There is no in between

It’s hard to explain

This joy I have inside

It makes my disappointments

Run away and hide

When sorrow tries to come

I tell it to subside

Because the joy I have from Jesus

Will constantly abide
