The Sovereign One

Desire of my heart
The song of my soul
That’s what my God is to me
Protector
Provider
Deliverer
Restorer
All by His mercy

Creator
Redeemer
Forgiver
My Savior
His grace daily covers me
And when I lie down
In my bed at night
His Spirit will watch over me

So I will praise Him
My heart will adore Him
For all that He is
And all that He’s done

And I will worship
In awe and in wonder
Majestic is He
Holy is He
Worthy is He
The Sovereign one

We will discover
That there is no other
Of such awesome power
And wonderful love

So I stand amazed
At His grace and His mercy
For He rules the heavens
And He is enough

The Greatest Brilliance

It’s not the stars that twinkle
Way off in outer space
It’s not the smile that radiates
On a little child’s face
It’s not the sun that rises
And sets with beauty rare
It’s not the thoughts of men
That make us all aware

When searching for the greatest
Brilliance of them all
We have to look at Jesus
And just stand back in awe
For there are many attributes
That we could mention here
I think I’ll list a few of them
Because He is so rare

His majesty is glorious
His might beyond compare
His wisdom is so high above
He’s always everwhere
His power never ceases
His mercy falls like rain
His grace is so amazing
His love will never fail

I could go on forever
His brilliance shines so bright
But now I’ll stop and praise Him
For He has brought me light
He’s worthy of my worship
All day and into night
Let’s give Him all the glory
And praise Him with delight

Holy Are You

Holy are you
Holy are you
Holy are you oh Lord
Reigning in splendor
King of all heaven
Holy are you oh Lord

Worthy are you
Worthy are you
Worthy are you oh Lord
Lamb that was slain
For the sins of all man
Worthy are you oh Lord

Gracious are you
Gracious are you
Gracious are you oh Lord
Always restoring
Mercy is flowing
Gracious are you oh Lord

Righteous are you
Righteous are you
Righteous are you oh Lord
All things are good
That come from your hand
Righteous are you oh Lord

Find His Presence

Sometimes we have our worries
Sometimes we have our doubt
Sometimes we have a problem
That we cannot work out

Sometimes we feel abandoned
Sometimes our fear is strong
Sometimes our hopes are shattered
And answers take too long

But these are not the times
To bow down in despair
These are times to praise Him
You’ll find His presence there

For when we lift our praises
His presence dwells with us
When we lift up our voices
His spirit lifts us up

It’s time to praise Him
It’s time to lift our voice
It’s time to celebrate
Let’s rejoice

It’s time to worship
It’s time to lift our holy hands
For even in the hard times of our lives
When we lift up His holy name on high
He promises He’ll be right by our side
So come and praise Him
Come and worship
Come and bow down
Come to Jesus

Worthy Are You Lord

When I wake from my night’s sleep
Then I find my soul did keep
In my heart I gently weep
With joyful praise to God

When my feet first hit the floor
Then I walk right to the door
My spirit lifts up high and soars
To sing the highest praise

Worthy are you Lord, my keeper
Worthy are you God most high
Worthy are you Lord, my strength and shield
Worthy are you Jesus Christ

When my eyes behold the light
Then I look to sunrise bright
My soul rejoices in His sight
My voice sings out His song

Worthy are you Lord, my refuge
Worthy are you God most high
Worthy are you Lord, my joy and peace
Worthy are you Jesus Christ

All that I am
All that I will be
All that I can fathom
Dwells in thee
All the mercy
All the grace you give
Never ending fountain
Come from thee

Worthy are you Lord, my Savior
Worthy are you God most high
Worthy are you Lord, you set me free
Worthy are you Jesus Christ

Wonder of Wonders

Stars shining bright
Sprinkle the night
Far distant light
Glorious sight

Flowers that bloom
Thunderstorms loom
Threatening doom
Late afternoon

Wonder of wonders Jesus provides
King of creation came here to die
Lord of Lords pardoned my sin and my shame
Wonder of wonders Jesus His name

Lungs breathing air
Eyes focused here
Ears that do hear
Body so dear

He put this vessel together
That I would bring glory to Him
All I can do is lift up His name
And give all my praises to Him

Wonder of wonders Jesus provides
King of creation came here to die
Lord of Lords pardoned my sin and my shame
Wonder of wonders Jesus His name

I Will Bow My Knee

O’er the mountains grandeur
O’er the fruited plains
O’er the rolling oceans
Jesus always reigns

O’er the swaying treetops
O’er the dawning rays
O’er the painted sunsets
Jesus is His name

King of Kings eternal
Lord of Lords is He
Glorious and mighty
I will bow my knee

I will bow me knee in reverence
I will bow my head in awe
I will bow myself before Him
Jesus Lamb of God

King of Kings eternal
Lord of Lords is He
Victorious Redeemer
I will bow my knee

I will lift my voice in worship
I will lift my heart in praise
I will lift my hands adoring
Jesus is His name

King of Kings eternal
Lord of Lords is He
Worthy of all glory
I will bow my knee

Never Cease

I sit a round and marvel how the Lord could love me so
He lavishes His grace on me and makes His blessings flow
I think about the times that I cursed His holy name
I ran from Him a million times and got so far away

In retrospective I can see He never left my side
Throughout those trying years He was protecting my hard life
He knew the plans He had for me though I had not a clue
He patiently stood by knowing one day I’d come through

Now I love to serve Him and lift His holy name
Daily I cry out to Him and give Him all my praise
I thank Him that He loved me when I did not love Him
I’ll never cease to offer up my worship unto Him

Touch Jesus Heart

Today we have a well-spring
Of brand new worship songs
It seems that heaven’s opened
For us to sing along
Our countenance is glad
As we raise our voices high
Our hearts in sheer delight
Our hands raise to the sky

I love this age of worship
I love new worship songs
The Lord is good to give me
Many of my own
Now I may seem quite archaic
When I say the old-time hymns
Still reach deep down inside me
And draw me  close to Him

The Old Rugged Cross
I Surrender All
Victory In Jesus
My soul these songs call

He Hideth My Soul
To God Be The Glory
Great is Thy Faithfulness
All tell His story

Blessed Assurance
Amazing Grace
Usher me in
To see His face

I know you have others
Quite dear to your heart
Let’s sing old and new
And touch Jesus heart
