All is Well

It is well with my spirit
It is well with my Lord
I’ve been washed in the blood
I have been restored
A home in heaven
Will be my reward
All is well, all is well
With my Lord

It is well with my body
I am healed throughout
By the stripes on his back
Healing came about
And each day when I wake up
I will sing and shout
All is well,  all is well
With my Lord

It is well in my mind
There’s no doubt or fear
For the thorns on His brow
Left His peace in there
And the faith I now have
Gives me cause to cheer
All is well, all is well
With my Lord

All is we all the time
When I have His grace
All is well all the time
When His mercy reigns
I can’t wait for the day
When I see His face
I’m in love,  I’m in love
With my Lord

It is well with my life
Since the day I prayed
Asking Jesus to hear me
So that I’d be saved
Now I know He is with me
Each and every day
All is well,  all is well
With my Lord

I went through life when I was young

Aimlessly at best

Drugs and booze and sex  were found

And sober was a test

I thought I loved the life I lived

But one day realized

That all the things that I believed

Would soon turn into lies

 

Maybe if I’d turned away

From all the party life

And maybe if I’d told the truth

Instead of telling lies

And maybe if hadn’t stolen

Things throughout’t my life

I’d have a home in heaven

And things would be all right

 

But then I learned there’s just one way

To get through heaven’s door

Acepting Jesus as my Savior

Gets me there for sure

There are no maybes in Gods word

His promises endure

So ask Him in your heart today

And heaven will be yours

Beautiful Savior

You are to me

Gave up your life

To set me free

I’ll be with you

For eternity

All because of your love

 

Wonderful counselor

You’re always there

To hear every heartache

And every prayer

Giving me counsel

Helping me hear

Wisdom that comes from above

 

Gracious redeemer

You give me hope

When I was lost

You made heaven my home

Took all my past

And washed it like snow

You have a plan for my life

 

Miraculous Healer

Of all my disease

Your blood was shed

To bring me your peace

Whether my body

Or mind is not eased

Your touch will calm ever fear

 

Marvelous friend

You’ll always be

Walking along

As you care for my needs

Often you carry me

When I am weak

You are my hero and Lord

 

Jesus, Oh Jesus

You’re my everything

Lord of all Lords

King of all Kings

From now and forever

Your praise I will sing

Since you came into my heart

Constantly abiding

In Him I will stay

Bask in His love

Follow His way

Never to leave

His precious side

Amazing grace

He’s given to me

Paid all me debt

Then set me free

Out of the darkness

Into the light

The Old Rugged Cross

Is a vision of love

Total redemption

Sent from above

His precious blood

Shed there for mine

Great is His faithfulness

He’s always there

Sunrise to sunset

Answer my prayers

Whom I adore

Just as I am

He accepts me each day

Of His awesome grace

The flaws in my life

Only through Christ the blessings flow

Only through Christ will I ever know

The promise from Heaven He bestows

To all who call on His name

 

He bought me at such a great price

By becoming my precious sacrifice

Paying the debt of sin in my life

So that now I am redeemed

 

His blood wiped away all my sin

Now God will never bring it up again

It’s just as if I’d never sinned

Justified by His blood

 

No longer will sickness rule in my life

Because I am healed by the horrible stripes

Now I claim victory when evils rise

Delivered from pain and disease

 

My mind is now free from doubt and fear

The thorns that he wore brought a covering here

Now I can now he will always be near

Peace and Joy flood my life today

 

He opened the way to heaven for me

He calls me His son, and He says I am free

He sets me apart because I believed

Sanctified through the cross

 

He’s there for me in good times or bad

Giving me guidance that I never had

His Holy Spirit shows me His plan

To prosper my life every day

 

From now on I’ll praise Him with all of my heart

I’ll sing out my worship, I’ll never depart

His precious love has set me apart

I am a child of the King

Every day I rise to greet you

Lift my voice in solemn praise

Bow my head in thanks for your grace

In my heart such joy I bring

At the mention of your mercy

Every night before sleep sets in

I praise you for peace so grand

I was smart

Even on the honor role every year

Near the top of my class

But not smart in life

 

I had means

Money was not a big issue for me

I bought what I wanted

Drugs and booze

My means were wasted

 

I was stuck

In a world I disdained

Too stubborn to leave

Too tied up with my friends

I was stuck

 

I escaped

Threw off my stubbornness

Repented of my sin

Asked Jesus in my heart

And life began again

I listened

Hoping to hear His voice

Quietly waiting for His direction

 

I heard the voices of this world

Roaring like a mighty wind

But God was not speaking through them

 

I heard the sound of battles in foreign lands

Shaking the earth and all its people

But God was not speaking through them

 

I heard loud preachers and evangelists

With fire in their voices they preached the word

But God’s direction for me was not in their words

 

So I settled down to sleep

Quiet and peaceful

And then I heard His voice

Still and small, giving me direction

 

I Kings 19:11-12.  And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake: and after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice

I bow to you Lord Jesus

You are my sovereign King

You gave your life to set me free

I owe you everything

I offer up my worship

I offer up my praise

I’ll follow you with all my heart

The rest of my days

 

You gave to me your mercy

And wiped away my past

Gone were all the wrongs I’d done

Your love was mine at last

Your joy replaced my sadness

Your peace replaced my fears

I can’t repay the debt I owe

Forever I am yours

 

You offered me your grace

So amazing and so free

Once I asked you for forgiveness

You did so willingly

You gave to me a new life

Now heaven is my hope

I’m so in awe of what you’ve done

My heart is now your home

 

Oh the wondrous love of Jesus

Came to earth to die alone

He our Savior gave His own life

Now He claims us as His own

Full of blessings freely given

Has a plan to prosper me

How can I refuse to praise Him

When His child I’ll always be

 

Praise the mighty name of Jesus

All the earth will bow to Him

Lift His name in solemn worship

Give your life and offering

Praise the wondrous name of Jesus

Lift Him high in joyous song

He is worthy of our worship

Let’s rejoice all the day long

If I need a Savior

I’ll turn to my friend

His name is Jesus

He loves to the end

 

If I need a healer

I’ll turn to my Lord

He cares for me

And He heals every sore

 

If I need deliv’rance

I’ll turn to the King

He is the one

Who controls everything

 

If I need direction

I’ll turn to the Word

He has a plan for my life

And it’s good

 

If I need a refuge

I’ll turn to His arms

He’s always there

To keep me from harm

 

If I need correction

I’ll turn to His love

His mercy will triumph

His grace is enough

 

No matter the need

He meets every one

So I’ll trust in Him

And give Him my love
