Show Me

Show me your mercy
Abounding to me
Show me the grace
That set me free

Show me the peace
That calms the storm
Show me your joy
Increasingly more

Show me the hope
That endures forever
Show me your love
That fails me never

Show me deliverance
Break every chain
Show me salvation
All over again

Show me your healing
Wipe out my pain
Show me the freedom
That in you I gain

Show me your Spirit
Who guides me each day
Show me the Shephard
Who prepares my way

Show me the cross
Where you bled and died
Show me the glory
That you sacrificed
Show me the throne
Where you reign on high
Please show me Jesus
And I’ll testify

I’ll testify of His great love for me
I’ll testify how He set me free
I’ll testify of all he has done
I’ll show them Jesus one by one

On My Knees

Praise the Lord
Worthy is He
I come before Him
Down on my knees
Seeking His mercy
Longing for grace
Hoping that soon
I’ll see His face

Jesus my Savior
You’re me redeemer
Lamb of God died for the sins of the world
Rose again bringing
Eternal Life to me
Sending your Spirit to reveal the Word

Praise the Lord
Glorious in splendor
Worship His holiness
Forevermore
Seated in heaven
All creatures before Him
Bowing their heads
Falling down on their knees

Jesus my Savior
You’re me redeemer
Lamb of God died for the sins of the world
Rose again bringing
Eternal Life to me
Sending your Spirit to reveal the Word

Down on my knees
I sing hallelujah
Down on my knees
My head bowed down low
Broken before Him
Needing forgiveness
Worthy of nothing
Have mercy on me

Abounding

Abounding in mercy
Forgiveness for me
My sins are gone
You set me free

Abounding in grace
Blessings for me
Pour down from heaven
Great gifts I receive

Jesus, my Jesus
You paid the price for me
Died on a cross for me
So I might live
Jesus my Jesus
You rose again for me
Hear my prayers constantly
Always you give

Abounding in joy
Bubbling in me
Even in hard times
My soul is happy

Abounding in peace
You left for me
Not like the world has
Your peace is real

Jesus, my Jesus
You paid the price for me
Died on a cross for me
So I might live
Jesus my Jesus
You rose again for me
Hear my prayers constantly
Always you give

Then there is your love
Your unfailing love
Flowing from heaven
Reaching my soul
Your love abounds
More than I can respond
It’s deeper and wider
And lasts all life long

Jesus, my Jesus
You paid the price for me
Died on a cross for me
So I might live
Jesus my Jesus
You rose again for me
Hear my prayers constantly
Always you give

Mercy Meant for Me

I looked to the Lord for healing
My body racked in pain
I knew He would not fail me
He’d healed me again and again

I looked to Him for deliverance
From the guilt stains of past sins
He offered me His salvation
Then delivered me deep within

All of it is mercy
God’s mercy abundant and free
Everything I’m blessed with
Is mercy meant for me

I looked to the Lord for patience
To walk through the trials of life
He said I will always be with you
I’ll give you the strength to survive

I knew then that all would be wonderful
As I looked to the Lord for life
I bowed down and thanked Him for mercy
Abundant and free He supplies

All of it is mercy
God’s mercy abundant and free
Everything I’m blessed with
Is mercy meant for me

I Rest

I rest in your promises Savior divine
Because of your mercy they all can be mine
I rest in your promises Jesus my Lord
You show them all to us throughout your word

I rest in your peace it calms every storm
I rest in your joy which bubbles and warms
I rest in your hope that never will die
I rest in your love forever it’s mine

I rest in your healing for every disease
I rest in deliverance that you bring to me
I rest in your cleansing from every sin
I rest in your Spirit that dwells within

There’s no need to worry
There’s no need to doubt
When I have a conflict
You’ll carry me out
And when indecision
Has darkened my way
You’ll speak to my heart
And guide me each day

I’ll rest in your mercy abundant and free
I’ll rest in the mercy that you give to me
I’ll rest in your grace amazing and grand
I’ll rest in the grace that helps me to stand

And when I am weary and day is done
I’ll look to the west and the setting sun
I’ll know that you’re with me throughout the night
I’ll quietly rest in you

That Which Surpasses

I used to love seeing those games
Where everything stays the same
Balls set set strings
Ducks go diving
The pure motion always remains

Perpetual games they were called
And I would get quite enthralled
When my life took a turn
Twas then that I learned
Perpetual is not this at all

The sunrise and sunset each day
The wind and the sun and the rain
These are the things
That surpass everything
When it comes to perpetual ways

These gifts that come from above
Filled with our Father’s love
Will always remain
For His love will not change
His mercy is always enough

Mercy Paintings

I saw the sunset painting hanging in the air so high
So I asked my painter neighbor why he hung it in the sky
He said is was not him who put that painting where it lie
It must have been another one’s surprise

So I asked around the art museum who might be the one
Who hung their painting in the sky when they thought it was done
When I walked back out to see the sight I noticed what had come
A new painting was shining like the sun

Now I was quite perplexed another painting had appeared
Then I noticed that it changed again and I broke down tears
I realized that no earthly one could paint such brilliance here
That God was sending me a message clear

Every moment mercy comes into my life to stay
Just like the brilliant sunset it’s faithful every day
And no one does provide it like the master in His way
I take it so for granted as it fades

From now on I will recognize His mercies all brand new
From the brilliance of a sunrise to the wet of grassy dew
From the singing birds that greet the sun rising with its hue
His mercies do abound for me and you

And when I see the mercy paintings hanging in the sky
There will no longer be a question why it hangs so high
I will know that God does show His love and that He’s always nigh
Then I will l lift His name with praises high

Be the Blessing

So many people look around for relevance these days
It seems that we got lost along the way
Either we have closed ourselves to putting others first
Or we’ve gotten caught in our own selfish ways

It’s so unfortunate that we don’t see the others needs
That we don’t extend the mercy we’ve received
We’re called to be benevolent and merciful to all
Because mercy is what fills the others needs

Let’s look outside ourselves today and see who we can touch.
Let’s be the blessing God wants us to be
We can change the world if we’ll step outside ourselves
To be what God intended us to be

Open the Flood Gates

His mercy and grace abounded to me
When I saw the blood at Calvary
Was meant to pardon and set me free
The flood gates were open wide

Now when I look up at that old rugged cross
I now longer see the life that was lost
My eyes now are open to know of the cost
He paid just to give me life

Wonderful Savior
Glorious Lord
Abounding in mercy
Fulfilling your word
Perfect redemption
Bought with your blood
I lift your praise up high

Open the flood gates of mercy today
Open them wide so all can be saved
Open my mouth so I’ll declare your ways
Sharing the message of life

My heart will worship
My lips will praise you
My soul will honor your name
My voice will sing out
Hosanna to Jesus
Open the flood gates of praise

Wonderful Savior
Glorious Lord
Abounding in mercy
Fulfilling your word
Perfect redemption
Bought with your blood
I lift your praise up high

A New Painting

I love a brilliant sunrise
When the clouds are gilded in gold
Seeing this marvel unfolding
Is something that never grows old

Then as the sun is leaving
The sunset is equally grand
A new painting  done every minute
By the master’s loving hand

So beautiful is this ceation
It’s hard to imagine much more
But the wonder of His sweet mercy
Is an aesthetic I can’t ignore

He forgave all of our sins
By sending His son to die
Then He shows His wonderful grace
By giving eternal life

The next time you see some beauty
Just remember that Jesus loves you
Then you will see that His mercy
Like that painting is always new
