The temperature goes where nobody knows
Unpredictable highs followed by lows
Even experts predict as part of a show
But they only prove that they do not know

My days seem to bounce up and down like a ball
One day I am happy, the next sorrow for all
I try to pick up, but find that I fall
I can’t even hear when my Savior does call

And others seem likely to be just the same
It’s like being different is some kind of game
One day they smile and the next they give blame
I never do know if they’re crazy or sane

But there is one thing that is constant and true
The love of my Savior will always come through
His friendship is there in the midst of the storm
He’ll walk with my daily and help keep me calm

He brings the sun up and sets it back down
He places the stars and He waters the ground
He causes the waves to come back to the shore
He brings the lightning and thunder that roars

His grace always covers my multiple sins
His mercy comes running and soothes me within
I can’t walk a step where His peace stays behind
And the joy that He gives will never run dry

Oh, the great love of Jesus is kind and it’s real
He’s faithful to be there when life takes a spill
He’ll always uphold me and always defend
His love is constant all the way to the end

It Only Takes a Moment

I haven’t been spending enough time with you, Lord
My days seem to fill up real fast
With work and with leisure
It seems so much easier
To let the day drift on past

I wake up each morning with tasks I must do
So, I get busy right away
Before I can look up
I have filled up my cup
And there’s no time for you in the day

But it only takes a moment
It only takes a second
To cry out to you in prayer
It only takes a whisper
An ear that’s tuned to listen
Then I hear your sweet voice in my ear

It’s time that put my priorities straight
You’re always there waiting for me
Each day I’ll arise
With a tear in my eye
Because I know you’re here with me

Come Into His Chamber

Come into the Kings Courts
His Son has invited you
And He awaits your presence
He desires to clothe you
With royal garments
Of Mercy, Grace and Truth 
He desires to fill you
With fruit from His table
Love, peace and joy
He delights in your presence
He delights in your praise
He desires to have you close to Him
At all times
His table is spread out
A banqueting table with more than you can imagine
he wants you to feast at His banqueting table
Feast until you are fill
Of all the wonderful things He has for you
Come
Come into His Chamber 
Come into the King of Kings
And Lord of Lords 
He awaits your presence

All Over Me

How can we know we’re your children?
How can I know I’m your son?
How can I know that your work in me
Has only just begun?

How can I know the goodness that you have bestowed on me
Will be a blessing to others that belong to your family?

It’s your presence, Lord
Your presence in me
A holy anointing that’s all over me
Wherever I go. Whoever I meet
Will feel that anointing that’s all over me

How can I share this good news that you have brought liberty?
How can I share this compassion that you have rained down on me?
Every day in every way this world is looking at me
To see if I have the courage to speak and set captives free

It’s your presence Lord
Your presence in me
Your Holy Spirit that’s all over me
I walk in your goodness overflowing with love
Everyone will know that your all over me

Every word I speak. Everything I do
Every one I meet is a chance to prove
That your glory shines in the heart of man
Let your kingdom come through my life again

It’s your presence, Lord
Your presence in me

I’m surrounded by the glory of the Lord
He’s in the still of night
In the stars so bright
I’m surrounded by the glory of the Lord
He’s in everything I see

For His glory overwhelms His creation
His glory is above the universe
His glory brings the heavens down on it’s knees
In surrender to our soon and coming King

His glory and His majesty timeless
Throughout all history they do proclaim
That the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit
Are right here beside me everyday

His Presence Is All I Need

I cried to the Lord in my weakness
He heard me and rescued me
Out of the darkness
Into the light
His presence is all I need

He heard me in my tribulation
His mercy uplifted me
Up from the valley
Out of my plight
His presence is all I need

When He’s near me I feel His glory
When He’s near me I know His peace
When He’s near me His joy overwhelms me
His presence is all I need

What a wonderful thing is His presence
My Savior is near to me
What a joy to abide in amazing grace
His presence is all I need

I will rest today and not worry
Sweet Jesus will walk with me
He has promised He’ll never forsake me

My Child

When I woke up this morning, I heard Jesus
He was calling out my name loud and clear
I rose up from my bed and said I’m here Lord
Please speak your words of comfort in my ear

He said I love you son
I said I love you Lord
He said I’m with you everywhere you go
He said I’ll lead you, Son
I said I’ll follow, Lord
He said You’re my child forevermore

As I go about my daily preparation
I keep listening to hear the words He says
If we block out all the noise that this world offers
We can know His voice is there throughout the day

He says I’ll heal you son
I say forgive me Lord
He says I forgave all your sins upon the cross
He says I’ll give you peace
I say my words of praise
He says you’re my child forevermore

My child I’m with you in the darkest moments
My child I’m with you in the raging storm
My child I’ll lift you up out of the valley
And set your feet on the solid ground

He said I love you son
I said I love you Lord
He said I’m with you everywhere you go
He said I’ll lead you, Son
I said I’ll follow, Lord

I Lay me Down

 By the rivers of living water
 His word refreshing my soul
 Giving me life
 Renewing my mind
 Transforming my soul
 I lay me down
 In green pastures
 Provided by my Lord
 To encourage me
 To nourish me
 Tio help me grow in Him
 I lay me down
 Resting in His peace
 Surrounded by His love
 My worries subside
 My spirit rests in Him
 I am blessed in His presence

God Is With Me

 God is with me In the morning
 When the sun begins to rise
 God is with me in the evening
 When I lay and close my eyes
 God is with me while I’m working
 Giving wisdom for the day
 God is with me when I’m walking
 Guiding me along His way
 God is with me when I’m resting
 Giving peace at the right time
 God is with me when I’m troubled
 Let’s me know He’s right beside
 God is with me when I’m shaken
 By the troubles of this world
 God is with me as a refuge
 When the darts of doubt are hurled
 God is with me all day long
 God is with me in the night
 God is with me in the darkness
 Giving me His guiding light
 God is with me when I’m sleeping
 God is with me when I wake
 God is with me when I’m feeling
 All alone and out of place
  
 There’s no need to ever worry
 There’s no need to ever fear
 For His word has left the promise
 That He always will be near
 In my weakness He brings strength
 In my trouble He brings peace
 In my worry He brings hope
 In my sorrow joy’s released
 I don’t have to be afraid
 Or have doubt surrounding me
 For I know that every moment
 My great God will be with me

He Takes Time

 He takes time to talk with me
 Through His word
 Through His Spirit
 Through other people
 He cries out for me to listen
 Listen to His voice when I read the word
 He will speak wisdom to me
 He will speak knowledge to me
 He will show me truth
 The truth of His word
 The truth that will set the captive free
 Open the blind eyes of my heard
 Open my deaf ears
 Bring me back to life
 Help me to walk again
 If only I would listen
 If only I would take time to hear.
 He takes time for me
 Why don’t I take time for Him
  
 He takes time to walk with me
 Showing me the path
 Showing me His way
 His plan
 His desire for my life
 His path is always the right path
 Even when I go through danger
 Or trouble
 Or sickness or pain
 He is there with me’
 Right beside me
 At times He leads me
 Other times He pushes me forward
 But it is always in the right direction
 Because He knows where I should go
 He knows the plans for my life
 He knows how I can get there
 So He takes time to walk with me
 Why don’t I take time for Him?
  
 He takes time to hear my prayer
 Amon the millions that are praying
 Some with loud voices
 Some with whispers
 He hears me
 He hears me when I humble myself
 He hears me when I seek His face
 He hears me when I turn from my wicked ways
 He hears me in the morning
 He hears me in the night
 He hears me any times I call
 I am not an interruption
 Or a distraction
 Or an intrusion
 His ear inclines to me
 He is bending down
 With His ear to my lips
 So He can hear me
 Hear my cry
 Hear my plea
 Hear my request
 Hear my praise
 He wants to hear it all
 He takes time to listen to me
 Why don’t I take time for Him?
  
 He takes time to know me
 To know me intimately
 To know my faults
 My fears
 Me victories
 Me defeats
 He knows what blesses me
 He knows what offends me
 He knows what brings me joy
 He knows what brings me sorrow
 He knows everything about me
 He knows me
 He is with me in my hard times
 He rejoices when I rejoice
 He upholds me when I am down
 He brings me down when pride rises up
 He does all things for my good
 He knows what I need before I ask
 He answers before I speak the words
 I don’t have to worry
 I don’t have to be afraid
 I should not get offended
 I should not get hurt by words
 I don’t have to wonder
 What tomorrow may bring
 He knows my tomorrow
 He will take care of all things
 He takes time to know me
 Why don’t I take time for Him?
  
 Time is a gift
 A gift from our Father
 He gives us each moment, each day
 He gives us the sunshine and rain
 He gives us the sunrise and sunset
 He gives us the birds and their melodies
 To fill our days
 This day is the present
 My present
 I live in this time
 Right now
 Right here
 I have not been promised any more time
 Only today
 Only right now
 Only the present
 What I do with my time is up to me
 How I will live
 How I will speak
 How I will believe
 Is all up to me right now
 Not later but now
 He has given me this time
 And He takes time for me
 Why don’t I take time for Him
