If Only

Sometimes in the night He calls to me
Reminding me that He will meet my needs
Whispering He's come to give me peace
If I'll only walk each day with Him

Sometimes in the day He calls my name
Reminding me that I am not the same
Whispering he took my guilt and shame
If I'll only make Him Lord of my life

He leads me by the waters sweet
He restores my longing soul
He walks with me in paths of righteousness
He's my Shepherd and my Lord
And even when I walk through valleys dark
His rod and staff are by my side
He'll anoint my head with Holy Spirt oil
And In His house I will abide

Sometimes in the quiet He speaks to me
Reminding me that he's right there withe
Whispering He'll be with me eternally
If I'll only make Him Lord of my Life

So I will sing His praise forevermore
Loud Hosanna sung forevermore
Worship His sweet name forevermore
Jesus is the Lord of my life














Keep Me Through The Night

Monday morning, waking up
I rise from off my bed
And realize quite instantly
That I am not dead
So I shake my head real slowly
From side to side it flows
And a smile comes upon my face
It's time to praise the Lord

I praise Him that He gives me breath
To wake me up this day
I praise Him that my eyes still work
To see me on my way
I praise Him that I hear the sounds
That filter through my room
I praise Him that He's there with me
That I am not alone

I praise Him that my arms and hands
Still have the strength to hold
I praise Him that my legs will work
To take me where untold
I praise Him that I feel His love
Still shining from above
I praise Him that His spirit
Still comes in like a dove

And now, five minutes in the day
I know His wondrous grace
Has kept me through the night again
So I can praise His name

Sweet Release

I fell into the devil's snare and tried hard to get out
I fought and clawed and kicked real hard I even tried to shout
But no one on this earth could come and free me from this trap
I finally succumbed to him and thought my life would pass

I found myself get comfortable in all the evil ways
But deep inside I knew my life was doomed to be a waste
I tried to medicate my mind and drink myself to joy
But all I did was deeper go into this sin and toil

Then one day someone told me of a man from long ago
Who came to set us free from sin so we could be made whole
I could not believe that such a simple step would pay
But nonetheless I called to Him and this is what I said

"Dear Jesus, I was told one day that you'd forgive my sins
That you died on a cross that day to come and live within
I am weak and tired Lord of fighting off this load
So won't you please forgive me now and I will make you Lord".

Then suddenly the pain was gone, I felt a sweet release
I knew that something changed in me because I now had peace
The drink and drugs were gone and now I only wanted Him
Because He rescued me that day and took away my sin

How wonderful is Jesus to all who call on Him
He'll come and make you whole again and give you peace within
If you don't know the Savior then why not pray my prayer
And you can be made whole again.
Please pray this prayer today?

"Dear Jesus, I was told one day that you'd forgive my sins

Only you can save me from this dreadful state I’m in
I’ve fallen in a pit so deep and given place to sin
You are the only one who can raise me up again
Come down to me, Oh Lord, and help me rise

Help me rise to holiness
Help me rise to peace
Help me rise to joy again
Through your unending grace
Help me rise to righteousness
Help me rise to faith
Help me rise to life again
A life that brings you praise

More Than Candy

I have a Savior He loves me
More than I love candy 
I know my Savior cares for me
More than anything

Guides me through His loving plan
Holds me with His outstretched hand
Trials and tests may come my way 
Always for my good

Sickness or pain may enter in
I'll never doubt His mercy wins
He'll give me strength until the day
Healing is in His plan

Sorrows may bring a teary eye
There may be days I question why
He'll answer me in His good time
Spirit will comfort me 

I have a Savior He loves me
More than I love candy 
I know my Savior cares for me
More than anything

Not only trouble comes my way 
His blessings fill my every day
I can't escape His loving grace 
More than I deserve

Breath fills my lungs with precious air
Sight helps me get from here to there
All functions working, I'm so blessed 
Mercy all over me

Family and friends do pray for me
Precious the wife He gave to me
Such great support from all around 
Strengthens me every day

I have a Savior He loves me
More than I love candy 
I know my Savior cares for me
More than anything

I lift His name in wondrous praise 
I shout aloud His worthy name
Lifting my hands for His embrace
Will lift me up to Him

My Warrior King

He comes riding on the clouds
Dressed in brilliant white
His robes flow free behind Him
As He breaks upon my sight

With crowns upon His head
Flames of fire in His eyes 
The Word of God rides in
As a warrior in the skies

He is the King Almighty
Faithful and True
Coming in the last day
To rescue me and you

His armies ride behind Him
Clothed in robes of white
Their horses match the color
As they gallop with the Light

On His thigh, His name is written
King of Kings and Lord of Lords
A sharp sword in His mouth
To smite the nations with His word

He is the King Almighty

Coming in the last day
To rescue me and you

An angel cried through heaven
Come and gather for the feast
And the birds all came to answer
Time to rid earth of the beast

The feast was set before them
Kings and armies of the earth
The battle waged and finished
The King of Kings the victory earned

He is the King Almighty

To rescue me and you

His name is high above
Every other name or sound
Jesus is the Lord of all
He wears the royal crown

I’ll sing His praise forever
My mighty warrior King
He fights my battles for me
He rules o’er everything

Ten Lepers

Ten lepers heard that Jesus Christ
Was coming soon their way
He was passing by their camp
It could be most any day

They knew that He had healed the sick
And made the lame to walk
He opened eyes and ears for some
And made the deaf to talk

So they thought perhaps if He would pray
Their leprosy would go
The called out to Him as He passed
And He turned around real slow

Walking over to them, Jesus smiled
And reached out with His hand
He prayed, and touched them one by one
And their sores dried up again

Jesus sent them to the priest
And he’d pronounce them clean
Their lives would be restored
They’d return to family

Rejoicing, they all went
Down the road to their new lives
But one of them turned back
And came to Jesus side

He told the Master thank you
Then Jesus smiled and said
My son, you are made whole
Your body is no longer dead
All your sores are vanished
Your skin again does shine
Now go your way rejoicing
But where are the other nine?

The former leper turned to Him
And said I do not know
He thanked Him one more time
And headed down the road

You see that simple thank you
Made quite a difference
Instead of only being cleansed
That leper was made whole
No more scars to show His plight
No more nasty skin
He had a new life now to live
Again He would begin

The lesson for us all in this
Is to always be aware
When Jesus comes and touches us
That Thank You should be said

Hold Me, Jesus

Heal me from this pain
Make me whole
In mind and body
Give me health again

You are such a merciful Savior
Always doing good for me
I can trust that all that happens
Is ordained so I can be
All that you would have me be.

Teach me Jesus
Teach me truth
From your Holy Word
Give me wisdom
Give me knowledge
So your truth I can discern

Guide me Jesus

On the proper path
Let me know
If I should wander
Bring me home at last

You are such a loving Savior
Always doing for my good
I can trust each day you give me
Will bring me right where it should

The Answer

In your everlastings arms
Let me feel
Your tender love
As you keep me from all harm

Teach me Lord
Of your ways
Help me walk where your light leads
Keep me always
On the pathway
To the plans you have for me

You’re my ever loving Father
My Lord and King of Kings
You’re the answer to my questions
You’re my everything
So I will lift my voice up high
And with it praises sing
To my Savior and my healer

Have mercy, Lord
On my poor soul
For I am still a sinner on my own
I’m so glad
For your grace
Which has washed me white as snow

From the things I sometimes think
Give me new
Thoughts so pure
Transform and renew again
