The Songs of Heaven

Isaiah saw the seraphims

Flying ‘round the throne

In the year that King Uzziah died

They were shouting highest praise

As the flew with all their might

And the posts and doors moved as they cried

Holy, Holy, Holy

Is the Lord of hosts:

The whole earth is full of His glory

Holy, Holy, Holy

Is the Lord of hosts:

The whole earth is full of His glory

John saw four beasts in Heaven

Appear before the throne

The likes of which were clear for Him to see

One like a Lion, one a calf,

Then a man and last a flying eagle

Singing night and day these words of praise

Holy, holy, holy

Lord God Almighty

Which was, and is, and is to come

Holy, holy, holy

Lord God Almighty

Which was, and is, and is to come

I want to sing the songs of Heaven

Sing with all my heart

Praises to my Lord and King

And I will sing them while I live

Sing them loud for all to hear

He alone is worthy of the words I sing

John saw four and twenty seats

Gathered ‘round the throne

Four and twenty elders came along

Clothed in white they gathered

Crowns of gold upon their heads

They bowed before the throne and sang their song

Thou art worthy, oh Lord

To receive glory and honor and power;

For thou hast created all things,

And for thy pleasure they are and were created

Then he saw the four beasts gather

With the elders ‘round the throne

As the lamb of God appeared in majesty

They were looking for the one

Who could open up the book

And only He could bear the task, so they start to sing

Thou art worthy to take the book,

And to open the seals thereof:

For thou wast slain,

And hast redeemed us to God by thy blood

Out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

And hast made us unto our God kings and priests:

And we shall reign on the earth.

I want to sing the songs of Heaven

Sing with all my heart

Praises to my Lord and King

And I will sing them while I live

Sing them loud for all to hear

He alone is worthy of the words I sing

Then I saw the angels gather

With the beasts and elders there

Around the Lamb who sat upon the throne

And the number of them grew

Ten thousand times ten thousand

As they sang aloud the praises of my Lord

Worthy is the Lamb that was slain

To receive power, and riches, and wisdom,

And strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing.

And every creature up in heaven,

And here upon the earth,

And even those who dwell under the earth,

And all the creatures of the sea,

Lift up their voice on high,

Their praises to our Lord and King

Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power,

Be unto Him that sits upon the throne,

And unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power,

Be unto Him that sits upon the throne,

And unto the Lamb for ever and ever

I want to sing the songs of Heaven

Sing with all my heart

Praises to my Lord and King

And I will sing them while I live

Sing them loud for all to hear

He alone is worthy of the words I sing

Arise

Arise, Arise

For the Lord is coming

Riding on the clouds to take His children home

Arise, Arise

The day is fast approaching

Don’t be left behind and all alone

I love the way He loves me

And fills me with His joy

It keeps me singing every single day

I love the peace He gives me

Way down deep inside

It fills my heart with calm along the way

He gives me hope that lasts

Through the good times and the bad

I can depend that He will care for me

And then He grows my faith

For He always guides my life

Through every single trial that I see

He’s always right there with me

And He hears my every prayer

I know He’ll answer when the time is right

He also has a plan for me

A plan that’s good for me

So II can always know the future’s bright

But nothing will compare

To the day that He arrives

It will come in the twinkling of an eye

And those who have accepted

His loving sacrifice

Wil join Him as they rise up to the sky

Arise, Arise

For the Lord is coming

Riding on the clouds to take His children home

Arise, Arise

The day is fast approaching

Don’t be left behind and all alone

Wonder

I cannot help but wonder
How he came to love me so
And I cannot imagine
How his love I came to know

So is it any wonder
That I lift His name in praise
He’s more than I imagined
His worship fills my days

Oh how amazing is His love for me
He came to save me, and set me free
I am in awe of His sweet grace
I cannot wait to see His face

I cannot help but wonder
Why He left His throne above
And I cannot imagine
Why He’d die to show His love

So is it any wonder
That I give my life to Him
He’s more than I imagined
That is why His praise I sing

My wonderful redeemer will soon return for me

And take me home to heaven where His I’ll always be

All pain and sorrow He’ll erase and death will be no more

I cannot wait to see His face

The one that I adore

Oh how amazing is His love for me
He came to save me, and set me free
I am in awe of His sweet grace
I cannot wait to see His face
Oh how amazing is His great love for me

Elegance displayed

Royal is a word we often hear

To describe the grandest of clothes

Or the rich way that decorators

Will garnish the walls of our homes

Regal means kingly attire

Garments that show majesty

I awe at their brilliance and splendor

And wonder how they’d look on me

But more Elegant was our Savior

As He died upon that tree

Wearing the blood of our sins

As a sacrifice for me

No love has been more beautiful

So much has never been given

As His elegant act to save us

And take us to heaven with Him

The Eyes Have It

I can see it in your eyes

That bright shining twinkle

That comes form knowing Jesus

Knowing His love

Knowing His joy

Knowing His peace

Knowing He has removed your sin

As far as the east is form the west.

Knowing He’s preparing a mansion for you

And your home is eternal in heaven

What a wonderful j]knowledge that is

It builds up inside us

And puts a twinkle in our eyes.

Wonderful Savior

He took the stripes His blood ran red
A thorny crown was on His head
Stood Pilate”s judgment on that day
Silently gave His life away

He took the cross, that rugged tree
And on that day He died for me
Bowed down His head, gave up His life
As He became my sacrifice

What a wonderful Savior you are to me
My precious Redeemer you set me free
What a wonderful Savior you are to me,                                                                   Jesus, oh Jesus

Laid in a tomb, a borrowed grave
Big stone was rolled to seal Him safe
All hope was gone for those He taught
They went to hide, and not get caught.

Three days went past and darkness loomed

Suddenly stirring in the tomb

Then He arose, He arose
With a mighty sound of triumph He arose
The angels up in heaven were rejoicing on that day
For they knew the Son of God was coming home again to stay
He was building up an army of the saints who took His name

Now I am in that army, and I’ll never be that same!

What a wonderful Savior you are to me
My precious Redeemer you set me free
What a wonderful Savior you are to me,                                                                   Jesus, oh Jesus

Which Will You Choose?

It’s an easy life

To just eat cake

Sit back and take it easy

But in the end

You’ll be alone

And hell will make you queasy

The harder road

Is sacrifice

A life that’s lived for Christ

But in the end

Heaven will win

You’ll enjoy eternal life

And when in Christ

The blessings far

Outweigh the price you pay

The cake you eat

While serving Christ

Gets sweeter every day

Heaven’s Song

It’s a song for the ages

Sung in heaven above

The angels sing it boldly

Telling of God’s love

The melody is beautiful

The chorus fills the skies

Cherubim and seraphim

Sing it as they fly

His love is so amazing

His love is so divine

It reaches down from heaven

And touches you and I

It’s Coming Soon

It’s summer time now and it’s warm

But that will soon fade away

And the cool breeze of autumn will come

And the sun will shorten the day

Then winter will surely set in

And the cold north wind will come

Sending a shiver all over me

As I huddle and try to keep warm

But there is another shiver

That has me much more concerned

It’s the shiver of fright that people will feel

When Jesus our Lord will return

When the saints are all gathered together

And those left behind realize

That they are now in tribulation

As was promised in years gone by

If you have not met my Jesus

Now is the time to be saved

You too can avoid the shiver

That will come on that fateful day

His Amazing Love

Higher than the mountains

Wider than the oceans

Deeper than the canyons

That’s His love for me

Purer than spring water

Makes us sons and daughters

Fills our heart with wonder

That’s His love for me

What amazing love He has for me

When He gave His life on Calvary

He left His royal throne

To come and die alone

All so I could be set free

Always sends His blessings

Joy that’s never ending

Fills me so my heart sings

That’s His love for me

Peace that calms my heart’s cry

Guides me safely through trials

His Spirit teaches me life

That’s His love for me

What amazing love He has for me

He rose from death and lives again

And one day He’ll return

To bring me home with Him

To a mansion He’s prepared just for me

What amazing love He has for me

I can only lift my voice and sing

Jesus is His name

I’ll give all my praise

Forever He will be my Lord and King
