My Father

I have a Father	
Who loves me so much
He blesses me all of my days
Daily He listens
To hear every prayer
And leads me in all if His ways 

When I am weary
I ask Him for strength
And He sends the spirit of life
When I am sick
I pray He will heal
And He gives me patience to fight


Oh, what a wonderful Father
Mercy and Grace are His ways 
I know He will love me forever
So I'll worship Him all of my dayslov

When I have trouble
I ask Him for help
And He sends me peace in the storm
When I am lonely
I call out His name
And He holds me safe in His arms

Oh, what a wonderful Father
Mercy and Grace are His ways 
I know He will love me forever
So I'll worship Him all of my days

He gave His own Son
To die on a cross 
So eternal life would be mine
My sin is erased 
My shame is all gone 
I'll now be with Him for all time

Prayer Time

I cried out to Jesus this morning
Lord please hear my humble prayer
I come to you seeking your mercy
For so many friends out there

One of my friends needs your guidance
About things going on in his life
I ask you to give this friend wisdom
To deal with this mountain of strife

Two friends need help with a new job
That came as an answer to prayers
These next few weeks they’ll be learning
Help them listen and learn as they train

I know that you hear my prayer
And I know that an answer will come
I trust in your perfect timing
I will pray they’ll have strength all along

Still others need your touch to heal them
From cancer, or aches, or disease
I ask that your mercy surround them
As I pray to you down on my knees

There’s a friend who has asked me to pray
For protection in foreign lands
I make my request to you Lord
To keep them all safe in your hands

I close out my prayer time this morning
By lifting my voice in praise
My spirit is lost in your worship
I lift up your holy name

I thank you for listening to me
And the prayers that I send your way
Take care of my friends this morning
And give them your mercy today.

Mercy Is All

There are so many times 
I know in my heart
His mercy is all that I need
From the most desperate days
To the oft sleepless nights
He mercy will cover me

When I'm sick in my bed
And a daze fills my head 
His mercy is all that I need
Because no matter how long
It takes healing to come
His mercy will cover me

Oh mercy of God
So large and so free
There is none that can compare
To the marvelous trust
I can have in your love 
Because your mercy is always there.

When I feel down and out
And I just want to shout
His mercy is all that I need
Because I know that He 
Is right there with me
His mercy will cover me

When the enemies strong
And I don't have a song 
His mercy is all that I need
He'll raise up His hand
And help me to stand
His mercy will cover me

I'll trust in the Lord
With all my heart
And I won't trust in those things I know
I'll acknowledge Him 
In all my ways 
And He will make my paths known

Oh mercy of God
So large and so free
There is none that can compare
To the marvelous trust
I can have in your love 
Because your mercy is always there.

To dance around your throne
To praise your name forever
To make heaven my home 

I want to be with you, Lord
To walk the streets of gold
To see those gone before me
To no more getting old

Yes, heaven will be wonderful
A lovely place to stay 
But I won't wait for heaven
To walk with you each day

Because you said you're with me
And will never leave my side
I choose to walk with you, Lord
While I on earth abide

I am always with you, Lord
To weather every storm
To see me through my trials 
To keep me from all harm

I am always with you, Lord
To guide me day by day 
To teach me by your Spirit
To walk in all your ways

Your promises are true Lord
And if I walk thus way
When I come to deaths door
I'll pass through heavens gates

So if you want a heav'nly home
Then make this your daily chore
Walk with Jesus here on earth
And heaven will be yours.


Mercy Covers All

You will hear the words that I say
And you'll answer me in your timely way
'Cause it's in your name that I pray

And when tears arise in the dead of night
And I cry to you out of fright
You will come to me with your peace so right
And you'll lead me to your light

What an awesome friend you are
Always there for me when I fall 
You show grace to me
Every time I need
And your mercy covers all

When my doubt is large, and my faith is small
I can always trust in your call
You will see my fear and you'll give your all
To revive me when I fall

What Is This Life

What is this life about?
Is it learning all that I can?
Is it making a lot of friends?
Or making my own special plans?

What is this life about?
Is it partying into the night?
Is it trying to always be right?
Or winning each quarrel or fight?

I think life is about much more than this
It is more than just playing a game 
This life is a journey, it's running a race 
That awaits us when we reach the end

You see life doesn't stop when we take our last breath
It has actually only begun
This life will determine where the next one starts out 
So you need to be choosing to win.

What exactly was Jesus life all about?
It was saving the lost gone astray
It brought healing to sick and sight to the blind
And it taught all of us the right way

What exactly was Jesus life all about?
It was laying His life down for us.
It was teaching us pride has no place in the wise
And showing us mercy and grace

His example is clear and His message us true
So shouldn't we follow His lead?
He showed us what this life should be all about
About filling our neighbors needs.

So put off your thoughts of me first and mine 
Let's do what He put us here for
Treating our neighbor as deserving of love
That is what this life is for.


Deep In Praise

When all is said and done
And the daytime light is gone
I will lift to God my song
Of praise

And when the stars do shine
And nighttime moon aligns
I will know it is the time
To praise

For within each passing moment
There's a time to worship Him
With each breath I'm reminded of His love
So I'll lift my praise to Jesus
And I'll lift my hands to Him
He just showers down His blessings from above

Now when the morning light
Brings daytime from the night
I'll know it's only right
To praise

The birds all start to sing
And then they take to wing
The sun their following
To praise

If all creation knows
It's time to praise the Lord
Then why should I do anything that's less
I'll lift my voice up high
So all can hear me sing
Because I want to give my very best

And then the day has passed
I'll settle down at last
As I run out of gas
I'll praise

I'll settle down too sleep
My soul I know He'll keep
Because I lived so deep
In praise

All Of Creation Sings

The trees wave their arms,
The birds sing their songs,
The stars show their light for His glory
Each sunset displays
His wonderful ways,
And the heavens cry out with his story
All of creation sings praise to the King of Kings.
He gives us everything good in our lives

I will lift up my hands to the Lord,
All of creation adores Him
I will sing with the birds,
And wave with the trees,
And shine His light brightly each day
For He is Lord, For He is Lord, For He is Lord

The flowers bloom bright
In the glorious sunlight,
The rains bring them life for His glory
The thunder proclaims,
The lightning exclaims,
And the heavens cry out with his story
All of creation sings praise to the King of Kings. 
He gives us everything good in our lives

The sun and the moon and the stars up above
Bring order to man just to show us His love
The earth is renewed by the heavens each day
As he shows us His marvelous ways

I will lift up my hands to the Lord,
All of creation adores Him
I will sing with the birds,
And wave with the trees,
And shine His light brightly each day
For He is Lord, For He is Lord, For He is Lord

I will call upon the Lord
And He will hear my cry
And answer me
Every time

I will wait upon the Lord 
And He will renew my strength
So I will not faint 
Every time

He is faithful as He promised
He will never let me down
I can trust every word He has said 
So whenever I'm discouraged
And I feel like I could drown
I can hold onto His precious hand

I will trust in the Lord
And He will always be right there 
To hear my prayer 
Every time 

I will hope in the Lord
And He will reveal His plans
To prosper me 
Every Time

He has given His own blood
As He died in my place
His mercy was extended to my soul 
So whenever I'm discouraged 
I can trust in His grace
To come into my life and make me whole

Every time I call
Every time I wait 
Every time I trust
Every time I hope
Every time He answers
Every time He strengthens 
Evert time He's faithful
Every time He prospers 
Every time, every time.


One Day

One day this old world will be left far behind 
My troubles will all disappear 
Since I have accepted my sweet Saviors love
I look for that day He appears 

My eyes will look upward to clouds overhead
And suddenly He will arrive
And all who have made Him their Savior and Lord
Will rise up to meet in the skies

On that day we'll be dancing to heavenly choirs
On that day we will pass pearly gates
On that day we will have no more pain, no more tears 
On that day we will see Jesus face

Singing power and glory and honor and praise
To the Lamb seated high on the throne
Seeing cherubim dancing a heavenly dance
To the King who has called us His own 

That day will come soon so don't wait any more
To tell all your friends it is near
Let your loved ones all hear the great power of His love
And pray that they'll open their ears

And when Jesus arrives they will rise up with Him
And will be carried into His arms
Then they'll rejoice with us as we enter those gates
Where will spend all eternity time

On that day we'll be dancing to heavenly choirs
