Sold Out For Jesus

The days have gone that used to be
No longer will I wander
I’ve found the way to life and peace
Because I know the Father

He is my source for everything
That matters in this life
All that I say and do down here
Comes from His sacrifice

He sent His Son to die for me
That my sins might be clean
Now I will give my all for Him
There is no in between

I’ll say the words He tells me to
I’ll go where He will lead
I’ll follow Him down every path
I’ll love all that I see

For I’m sold out for Jesus
He is my rock and stay
From now on I will lift my voice
And give Him all my praise

He saved me from a life of sin
He healed me from the plague
There is no turning back for me
I’ll follow Him always

This is a new chorus God gave me this morning at church. I hope to record it tomorrow and will port it if I get it done.

I will lift my hands and lift my voice in worship
I will celebrate His mercy and His grace
I will tell the world how much Jesus loves them

Isolated

Sulking in a corner
Downstairs in my room
Thoughts of taking my life
All is doom and gloom
I can’t see a future
When I see my past
Why don’t I just end it
This misery will last

Isolated
All alone
The enemy attacks here
Going crazy
Hope is gone
Why am I in such fear

I search my inner being
I find a ray of hope
There’s something deep inside me
That rises like a smoke
It fills my mind with wonder
Then I can sense a joy
The Holy Spirit rises up
His peace I now employ

I won’t get isolated
I won’t go off alone
I won’t look at my past
That robs me of my hope
I’ll look to the future
Where God has plans for me
And in His loving arms

Don’t get isolated

Allow the Holy Spirit
To bring joy instead

I don’t mean to be pushy
Or cruel or rude
I don’t want to hurt you
Or sound really crude

But I must be adamant
This is the truth
Make Christ Your Savior
And Let His love rule

If you don’t you are doomed
To an eternal flame
So before it’s too late
Call on His name

Ask for forgiveness
For all of your sins
Repent and be saved
Let your new life begin

His Mercy is There

I struggle some days to see
The mercy of God for me
I know He is there
I know that He cares
I just don’t know why He loves me

I know He sees all my faults
He sees the worst parts of me
But He quickly forgives
Then He helps me to live
In the mercy He pours out to me

His mercy is always there

No matter where I go
His mercy is there
I cannot escape His love
He showers me from above
When I look at myself
His mercy is there

I have to open my eyes
To see all the love He provides
It’s more than enough
To fill up my cup
He has an enormous supply

Now I can plainly see
That His mercy is meant for me

I thank God for His plans
He always does the best for me

When I look back at all He’s done for me
I can see His grace and His mercy
Then I lift my hands in praise
For His love always

Every morning
Day after day
The sun rises slowly
Casting it’s light
Whether cloudy or clear
We see it approaching
The rays stretching far across the horizon
Creeping slowly across the sky
Until the brilliant light
Peaks above the horizon
At the time appointed

Twice a day
Day after day
The tide rushes in
Farther up the sand
Or higher against the rocks
Footprints disappear
Sand castles fall
Reaching its peak it than recedes
Leaving seaweed and shells
And a smooth sand
At the time appointed

The moon travels
Day after day
Across the sky
Various shapes fill our eyes
Crescent moon then half
Half then full
Then back the other way
Affecting oceans by its pull
Causing the tide to rise and fall
The suns light causes the moons shape
Over and over again
At the time appointed

We all will face God
We all will give account
We all will answer for this life
Jesus is the Way
The Truth
The Life
No man comes to the Father but by Him
Have you accepted Him
So that you will be with Him
At the time appointed

It’s His Mercy

People often ask me why I follow Christ
They just don’t seem to understand His benefits in life
I tell them it’s quite simple and easy to receive
Just ask Him for forgiveness and then His Word believe

Once these things have happened your eyes will open wide
You’ll understand that Jesus is right there by your side
Truly you will know that He cares for you each day
One thing will really stand out as you walk along His way

It’s His mercy plain and simple
His mercy came for me
His mercy left a throne above to die upon a tree
His mercy then forgave me
His mercy gave me life
His mercy keeps me everyday
His mercy is my guide

His mercy brings me healing
His mercy frees my soul
His mercy brings such joy and peace
His mercy I will hold
I’ve learned I cannot live without
This mercy that He gives me
His mercy is the source of Life
His mercy covers me

When anybody asks again what Jesus did for you
When they say they just can’t why you worship like you do
Just smile and look at them with your eyes just full of love
And tell them it’s His mercy His mercy is enough
