Bought With A Price

I am not my own, I’ve been bought with a price
The precious blood of Jesus Christ
He has washed away all my sin and shame
He made me His child and calls me by name

He offered His life to ransom my soul
The nails in His hands and the thorns in His brow
From the cross He forgave me so I could be saved
Then He died once for all and was placed in the grave

For three days He laid there and all hope seemed lost
He had suffered and died a cruel death on the cross
But the stone rolled away and He rose from the dead
Now He’s alive and in heaven He rests

I owe Him my life. I owe Him my all
What can I give Him that died for us all
My sacrifice is to give everything
All that I am is my offering

The Time Is Now

The time is now
The time is right
We wait for the right moment
Or the right word
Or the right circumstances
We wait for a reason
Or a cause
Or a request
But God wants us to be proactive
Not reactive
God wants us to speak out
Not be silent
God wants us to be bold
Not meek
So speak His word
Speak encouragement
Speak healing
Speak deliverance
Speak salvation
Speak up in Jesus name
The time is right
The time is now

Rejoice In Tribulation

Trials and tribulations
Jesus promised they would come
And they do.
Day after day
Week after week
Seemingly endless
Do I allow them to bog me down,
Get me down,
Drag me down
Bring me down,
And keep me down?
Or do I look at them as mere stepping stones
To a higher plateau with God?
Are they just a bump in the road
On my way to heaven?
Paul said His trials only furthered the gospel.
They became his testimony.
Christ's greatest triumph
Came through His biggest trial -
The cross.
So do I rejoice in tribulation,
Knowing it will bring me a testimony
That will further the Gospel?
Rejoice in the Lord always
And again I say rejoice!
In Hard Times

Peter’s Lament

He’s gone
My best friend
My teacher
My Master
Gone
They crucified Him
After hailing Him as King
They crucified Him
I denied Him
3 times I failed
I denied Him
Today is the sabbath
He is buried
Behind a stone
Sealed and guarded
I cower in fear
Uncertainty and doubt
Will they come for me?
Will they kill my friends?
What will we do?
I will stay low
I have to seek God
I am dazed, confused, lost.
He’s gone – Dead and buried
Gone. My hope, my strength, my life
Gone

Boldness

Boldness
Lord, give me boldness
Help me to overcome fear
Fear of sharing your love
Give me boldness
Boldness to pray for the sick
Boldness to encourage the lost
Boldness to confront the enemy
Boldness to share the gospel
Boldness to share your joy with others
Boldness to share your peace with others
Boldness to declare what you have done in my life
Lord, I meet people every day
People who are hurting
People who are sad
People who have no peace
People who are sick
People who are lost
People who need you
Yet I am quiet
I enjoy conversation with them
But I do not talk about you
About your peace
About your joy
About your love
About your salvation.
About what you can do in their lives
Lord, give me boldness
That I might declare your words

I Turn To You

When my troubles have me down and I don't know what to do
I turn to you
When my life seems out of place and my night won’t turn to day
I turn to you
When my pains seem so intense that I just want to go away
I turn to you
When my heartache overwhelms me to the ping that I will cry
I turn to you
Because you hold the key to my heart
You hold the key to my soul
You hold the reins of my life'
And I know you will never let go
I can trust you Lord, because you are faithful
You make the sun to shine each day
And the stars to shine at night
You bring the gentle cool breeze
And the song of the bird at dawn
You give me the air that I breath
And the beauty of this earth to behold
I can trust you Lord, because you are faithful

Lord, You Are Amazing

Lord, you are amazing.
You bring me in contact with people
People of like faith
People I love to fellowship with.
And it is a joy.

Lord, you are amazing.
When I am away from these people
Whom you have brought me in contact with
You will keep them in my heart
And it is a joy.

Lord, you are amazing.
When you bring these people to my mind
Because you have placed them in my hear
I know they need my prayers
And I pray
And it is a joy

Lord, you are amazing
When I meet with them again
We have fellowship
And I hear how you answered their prayer
When I was praying
Because you placed them on my heart
And it is a great joy!
Lord You are amazing!

You Have A Friend

When it seems like all is lost
And your running really low
When the world all around you
Seems to gang up on you
Just remember you have a friend
That is always by your side
He's Jesus, The King of Kings.

When your hope is fading fast
And your faith is growing dim
When your joy just doesn't last
And your peace is wearing thin
just remember you have a friend
That will always lift you up
He's Jesus, The Lord of Lords

Wonderful Savior,
Precious Lamb of God
Holy Redeemer.

Arrival in Heaven

I looked into the eyes of Jesus
He spoke to me and called my name
I knew I had arrived in heaven
My life would never be the same

I walked through the gates made of pearl
Onto streets made of shimmering gold
My mansion was waiting there for me
‘Twas quite a sight to behold

I saw that great river run through it
Lined with trees that could heal all disease
No one cried and no one had sorrow
The air was just full of His peace

Then I walked toward the throne of the Lamb
Who was seated in heavenly robes
The angels sang out a sweet chorus
As the elders all bowed to my Lord

Hosanna to God in the highest.
All glory and power to him
Holy is our God almighty
The blessed King of all Kings

I joined in the heavenly chorus
Worshiping 'round His throne
Holy is the Lamb of the ages
King of Kings and Lord of Lords

Holy, holy, holy cried the angels
Holy, holy, holy is the Lamb
Holy, holy, holy sang the elders
To Jesus, the great I AM

What Was Finished?

In the midst of my troubles when all seems so lost
I turn my eyes upward to that man on the cross
He suffered in anguish pain ripped His soul
Despised and rejected the scars took their toll
In one last, deep breath “It is finished” He said
And He gave up His life and was taken for dead
“What was finished” you ask as you look on that tree
“Did the death of one man make a difference to me”
The plan of salvation that God had begun
In the beginning had now been won
For Jesus took all of our sin on that cross
He gave up His life at a terrible cost
The perfect lamb slain for all of our sin
So that we might find freedom deep down within
Have you knelt at His cross and accepted this truth?
So precious and gracious – he died there for you.
