There is Still Time
Sometimes it seems very slow
Sometimes it goes too fast

I can feel His presence
Filling up my senses

The Journey
This journey I am on has it’s pitfalls
Sometimes I’m in holes so deep
I look for ways out
Then to God I shout
His loving hand rescues me
This journey I’m on has its turmoil
I’m dazed and confused in the mess
I try to stay calm
Then Gods graceful arm
Embraces me and i feel blessed
The road can be long
The path can be hard
The rocks can be sharp
The hill can be steep
The way can be difficult
But God has a plan
He’ll carry me through every time.
This journey I’m on can bring sorrow
Sometimes my soul is real down
I look for his peace
Then God brings release
His joy puts me on solid ground

There is no one nearby to call
I search for the Lord
My prayer brings reward
His comforter becomes my all

Fragile Future
My life was so easy
When I was a sinner
I didn’t know better
Than drinking or lust
One day I realized
My future was fragile
I was not so agile
To freely live on
I then met the Savior
Who sought me forever
He would fail me never
If He was my Lord
I gave my heart to Him
Now peace is internal
His joy is eternal
I’m now heaven bound

When I figure out my taxes
I do my best to find
Any loophole that would save me
A nickel or a dime
In other situations
We look for ways around
Just to make our lives go easier
The shortcuts do abound
But if our goal is heaven
No loopholes can apply
Repent and come to Jesus
Is the only way to life

Bright Hues
In all of my years I’ve been watching
Both to the East and the West
I marvel each day
As the sun makes it’s way
The heaven’s display their best
Then I look at the trees in autumn
As the changing of seasons goes on
From green to bright hues
The most colorful show
There to watch with a sense of awe
As I study these things I can’t help
But think of our awesome God
Who gives us each day
These brilliant displays
He really must love us so much

My dream
I dream I’m a new creation
Cancer has gone away
I keep on getting stronger
Every single day
I dream that my testimony
Will be shared for all to hear
That many good souls will find
That they have also been healed
I dream of people resonding
As I tell them of His great love
Souls will be saved and set free
By His power sent from above
I dream of many rejoicing
That their hope has been restored
The peace of God Invades their spirit
Theirs hearts are full of His joy
I dream of God’s people in worship
As we sing songs He’s given to me
That the atmosphere all around us
Will fillled with His Majesty
I dream all of this will bring glory
Only to God above
That He will be lifted higher
That He’ll fill us with His love

Maybe it’s a movie
Maybe it’s a show
Maybe it’s the sunshine
Maybe it’s the snow
Maybe it’s a puzzle
Maybe it’s a song
Maybe it’s a little dog
Who wants to tag along
Maybe it’s a comedy
Maybe drama reigns
Maybe it’s a talk show
That makes you smile again
We all have tings we turn to
That entertain our iives
For me I turn to Jesus
Because He satisfies
He satisfies my mind
With wisdom for my life
He satisfies my heart
With love that is alive
He satisfies my soul
With joy and inner peace
He satisfies me fully
As He my life does keep
If you need something fresh
To entertain you more
Jesus is the one you need
