I Can’t Stop

I can't stop loving you
No matter what I do
Your love calls out
And leaves no doubt
Jesus I love you

I can't stop praising you
No matter what I do
My worship raised
To your sweet name
Jesus I praise you

I can't stop serving you
No matter what I do
You are my Lord
Whom I adore
Jesus, I serve you

I can't stop preaching you
No matter what I do
I tell them all
To head your call
Jesus. I preach you

I can't stop wanting you
No matter what I do
You full me up
With your sweet love 
Jesus more of you

Witness

Can I get a witness of amazing Grace?
Has He set your feet in a higher place?
Do you long each day to see his face?
Can I get a witness of amazing Grace?

Can I hear a testimony of His love?
Has He touched your heart from His throne above?
Do you have compassion that hugs everyone?
Can I hear a testimony of His love?

Shout it from the mountain top. Let your voice be raised
Jesus Christ is Lord of all, worthy of our praise
Tell the whole world of His love. Witness every day
He redeemed me for all time, washed my sins away

Can you tell your neighbor of His sacrifice?
How he bled and died to give eternal life?
How He washed away their sin by taking stripes?
Can you tell your neighbor of His sacrifice?

Don't be silent any longer.
Don't be fearful of their doubt
Lift your voice and tell His story.
Make Him known so they'll find out
There's a Savior waiting for them.
Jesus is His mighty name
He is knocking at their heart now.
Help them lift their voice in praise

Longing

I long for the sound of His voice
Teaching me how to rejoice
He whispers so clear
In my spiritual ear
Hoping I'll make the right choice

I long for the feel touch of His hand
Confirming the path of His plan
As he gently leads
And quietly pleads
He urges me to understand

He loves me, more than I can know
He loves me, and promises to show
His grace is complete
As I sit at His feet
Oh, How He loves me so

I long to see His face
To feel His warm embrace
He's always right there
To hear every prayer
He leads me inside heavens gates

I long to know His love
Streaming down from above
He dwells deep inside
In my heart he abides
His spirit descends like a dove

He loves me, more than I can know
He loves me, and promises to show
His grace is complete
As I sit at His feet
Oh, How He loves me so

I shout Hallelujah to His name
Glorious Hallelujahs to His name
His praises I sing
My worship I bring
My voice cries blessed be His name
My voice cries blessed be His name

Isn’t It Amazing?

Isn't it amazing to see the stars in space?
They seem to be so random yet each one has its place
Billions upon billions yet He calls them all by name
Isn't it amazing!

Isn't it amazing to hear the sparrow sing?
He's effortless in flight and with ease he flaps his wings
Each one trusts in God for the food that each day brings
Isn't it amazing!

Isn't it amazing that the sun will rise each day
The clouds adorned with brilliance as they each each golden ray
Precise down to the minute and sure to guide your way
Isn't it amazing!

Isn't it amazing what a simple prayer can do
Each word touches  His Spirit and brings Him down to you
He'll heal and He'll deliver from the ills that come to you
Isn't it amazing!

Isn't it amazing that God sent His Son to die
He was sinless in His life but still was crucified 
He ransomed us from sin and gave eternal life
Isn't it Amazing!

Why Am I So Surprised?

Why am I so surprised
When healing starts to come
My feet are feeling better
My toes are much less numb
I can feel floor beneath mike
And it feels like solid ground
I’m amazed it’s feeling better
Than it has for many months

Why am I so surprised
When peace comes in the storm
I can’t explain the reason
That I feel no alarm
The waves and wind are higher
And the feeling is not warm
Yet I am sitting calmly
In the center of this storm

His promises come calling
At every time of day
And when we least expect it
They come and overtake
Our healing our deliverance
Our peace and joy and hope
Are all just waiting for us
To take us by surprise

Why am I so surprised
When joy just bubbles forth
I just was lost in sorrow
And was feeling deep remorse
Then an overwhelming feeling
Of unexpected joy
Came up from deep within me
And made my heart rejoice

I shouldn’t be surprised
That His promise comes to pass
But I am
I shouldn’t be surprised
When He answers all my prayers
But I am
His promises are true
His mercy has no end
His grace is so amazing
His love is not pretend

His promises come calling
At every time of day
And when we least expect it
They come and overtake
Our healing our deliverance
Our peace and joy and hope
Are all just waiting for us
To take us by surprise

His Grace is Enough For Me

(note: This was written in 2016 when I was in a battle with cancer.  I am cancer free today)

My friends I am fighting a cancer
That has settled in all over me
And though I must walk through this valley
His grace is enough for me

In a short time I will take chemo
I will be sick and full of dis-ease
But I know that he's right there with me
His grace is enough for me

And when I am weak and so tired
And my eyelids so week I can't see
I will still hear his voice whisper softly
His grace is enough for me

And when it seems I'm at my weakest
And it takes all my effort to breathe
I will look up and say to my Savior
Your Grace is enough for me

This cancer just cannot defeat me
Even though I get weary and weak
I'll always remember this one thing
His grace is enough for me

I know that His Spirit is guiding
And I know the He’ll comfort me
So why should I dread and worry?
His grace is enough for me

And when I am done with this journey
And this cancer is all out of me
I will look up to heaven and praise Him
His grace was enough for me


A Visit to Heaven

I looked into the eyes of Jesus
He spoke to me and called my name
I knew I had arrived in heaven
My life would never be the same

I walked through the gates made of pearl
Onto streets made of shimmering gold
My mansion was waiting there for me
Twas quite a sight to behold

I saw that great river run through it
Lined with trees that could heal all disease
No one cried and no one had sorrow
The air was just full of His peace

Then I walked toward the throne of the Lamb
Who was seated in heavenly robes
The angels sang out a sweet chorus
As the elders all bowed to my Lord

Hosanna to God in the highest.
All glory and power to him
Holy is our God almighty
The blessed King of all Kings

I joined in the heavenly chorus
Worshiping 'round His throne
Holy is the Lamb of the ages
King of Kings and Lord of Lords

Holy, holy, holy cried the angels
Holy, holy, holy is the Lamb
Holy, holy, holy sang the elders
To Jesus, the great I AM

Good Morning

Monday morning, waking up
I rise from off my bed
And realize quite instantly
That I am not dead
So I shake my head real slowly
From side to side it flows
And a smile comes upon my face
It's time to praise the Lord

I praise Him that He gives me breath
To wake me up this day
I praise Him that my eyes still work
To see me on my way
I praise Him that I hear the sounds
That filter through my room
I praise Him that He's there with me
That I am not alone

I praise Him that my arms and hands
Still have the strength to hold
I praise Him that my legs will work
To take me where untold
I praise Him that I feel His love
Still shining from above
I praise Him that His spirit
Still comes in like a dove

And now, 5 minutes in the day
I know His wondrous grace
Has kept me through the night again
So I can praise His name




How I Love You

I lift my voice to sing in thankful praise
I lift my heart and worship your sweet name
I life my eyes, I long to see your face

You are so holy, so awesome in my life

Early morning, waiting
To hear the voice of God
Calling to me deep within my heart
Listn'ing so intently
For the Spirit's call

Suddenly His voice comes like a shout
I am here to heal you
Lay your burdens down
Let me touch you where it hurts the most
I am here to save you
Give me everything

Let me hold you in my loving arms
I hear Him calling, longing
To draw me close to Him
So he can speak so gently in my ear
I slowly turn to greet Him
Into my life this day

And then I hear Him speak some words of cheer
I am hear to rescue
Take you from your trials
Bring you into freedom from your flesh
Let me overwhelm you
Fill you with my grace

Give you faith to overcome your fears
Finally I yield to Him
Peace does flood my soul
The world and all it's trials fades away
I'm leaning on His bosom
He holds me in His arms

I'm ready to go out and face the day
For He has come and spoken
Truth into my life
That He is with everywhere I go
And I can rest assured
That He is always mine
And in His loving hands I find my home.
