Lord of All

If you will put your trust in Him
The one who saved you from your sin
The one who died upon that cross
Jesus, Lord of all

Then He will wipe away your tears
You’ll conquer doubt, you’ll conquer fear
Because His strength will pull you through
Jesus, Lord of all

There s no mystery to this
He conquered death so we could live
His Spirit lives within us now
Jesus, Lord of all

I will lift my voice n praise
To the one who my life saved
Gives me victory each day
Jesus, Lord of all

If You Could, Would You?

If you could walk up to a bind man
And pray that he would see
Then watch as his eyes opened
Would you?

If you could touch a deafened ear
And proclaim that he could hear
And watch as he rejoiced
Would you?

If you could look up at a storm cloud
And ask it to change course
Then watch as blue skies opened
Would you?

If you could see the homeless hurting
And give them food to eat
Then watch as they gained favor
Would you?

Well, you can
In Jesus mighty name
You can
All these things are possible
With faith
Step out of your comfort zone
And pray
That they be saved
And healed today

If your finances were hurting
Your desire was to give
To a needy missionary
Would you?

If someone asked for prayer
When you met them on a street
And you said you’d pray for them
Would you?

If a friend offended you
Very deeply in your heart
And asked you to forgive
Would you?

Well, you should
Trusting God each moment
You should
All these things are needful
For your peace
Don’t delay one moment
Follow through
So that God will bless you
And bless those around you
With His love

A Brand New Start

When I accepted Jesus my friends thought I was nuts
I’d always been the party guy, no ifs, ands or buts
Now I spoke of love and peace, and they all turned their nose
They thought that I had lost my mind, and I should turn and go

But I persisted in my way of telling them the truth
There was no controversy on the change that I’d gone through
And as I witnessed of the cross, and what He’d done for me
They slowly opened up their minds so I could help them see

One, then two, then a couple more finally gave in
They asked me how they too  could know this freedom from within
I told them it was simple, just ask Jesus in your heart
He will come just as He said, giving you a brand new start

No room for wisdom, no room for joy

I can’t fill myself with you

When I’m lost in myself
There’s no way to get out
No path to take, no plan to tout
When I’m lost in myself
I can’t find my way to you

I want to fill myself with you
Filled with your word and your Spirit
I want to lose myself in you
Lost in your love
Peace from above
Lifting my praise to you

When I’m guiding myself
My path is obscure
Where I’ll end up isn’t sure
When I’m guiding myself
My path strays away from you

I want to follow in your ways
Keeping your word with my whole heart
I want to know you are my guide
Follow your plan
Holding your hand
Lifting my praise to you

Keep me out of myself and into you
Out of my ways all of my days
Out of my pride, in you I’ll hide
Only in you will my life abide

I want to fill myself with you
Filled with your word and your Spirit
I want to lose myself in you

No More Hockey Pucks

When I was young I had much zip in every step I took
My days were filled with busy things not usually by the book
Climbing trees and catching frogs and slapping hockey pucks
The fact that I was rarely hurt I passed it off to luck

When I grew older, wiser too, I found myself messed up
I’d taken drugs and drink in droves and other nasty stuff
I needed remedy real fast or thought that I would die
No luck could get me out of this.  I wanted to survive

One day I heard that Jesus died to cleanse me of my sin
I asked Him to forgive me and come to live within
No luck or circumstance can ever take the place of Him
I now know peace and joy are real, and with Him I can win

So if your feeling down and out and have no where to turn
Please listen to these words of mine before you die and burn
Ask Jesus too forgive your sins, He’ll give a brannd  new start
You never wll regret the day He comes into your heart

So They Might

You are the potter, I am the clay
Mold me and shape me after your way
Make me a witness to others today
So they might see you, I pray

You are the vine and I am a branch
Teach me, dear Lord,  to follow your plan
Help me to witness throughout this land
So they might feel your hand

You are the shepherd and I am your sheep
Guide me to all your commandments keep
Help me to reach out to others needs
So they might know the love they reap

You are the Master, I follow you
Hoping that, daily, your love will show through
And you’ll get the praise for all you do
The glory belongs to you

I’ll lift your praises up high every day
I’ll give you the glory in every way
That others will come to know and be saved
This I will fervently pray

Turn the World Around

It’s not a little thing at all
Though people will  discount it
I’m not even reluctant
To say it changed the world

In it’s time it was enormous
Truly massive in it’s scope
Because a new beginning
Was about to now unfold

When Jesus died upon that cross
There were just a few take notice
But when He rose up from the grave
The world was turned around

Twelve men and many others
Began to preach His story
The church was born by His dear plan
And victory abounds

What An Amazing Story

I listened to the Lord when He spoke to me
Knew that He loved me abundantly
And I knew what He spoke would come to be
At a time He had already planned

He told me that I should tell everyone
Of the work on the cross that he had done
I should tell of the Father who sent His Son
Because of His love for the world

What an amazing story
What an amazing friend
He asks us to share
And make them aware
Of His love that will last ‘til the end

I asked Him for boldness so I could speak
To all those who lovingly I would seek
And tell them the story of His great deed
And hopefully they would be saved

He told me don’t worry about the results
My job was to tell them the truth that’s all
The Spirit would be there to give them a call
The word would not return void

He asks us to share
And make them aware
Of His love that will last ‘til the end
 
I’ll tell them I’ll tell them of your great love
I’ll praise you forever for all you have done
Until all my friends have been saved and won

Feeding Time

It seems it’s a natural occurrence
To eat and drink plenty each day
It’s something we do by instinct
To survive there’s no other way

But there is another part to us
That needs  to nourished as much
The spirit that lives within us
Is hungry to feel wisdom’s touch

Your body is well taken care of
Your spirit guides you in this world
Make sure that you feed your spirit
For me that means time in God’s word
