With Him

Without Him I am lost
With Him I am found
Without Him I am weak
With Him I am strong

Without Him I have doubt
With Him I have faith
Without Him I have fear
With Him I’m not afraid

Without Him sorrow looms
With Him joy abounds
Without Him turmoil stirs
With Him peace surrounds

Without Him I’m in sin
With Him mercy reigns
Without Him life is hard
With Him there is grace

Without Him I am poor
With Him I have no needs
Without Him darkness reigns
With Him light guides me

Without Him I am bound
With Him I am free
Without Him hell awaits
With Him heav’n for me

He Gave the Trees

I can look in awesome wonder
At the miracle of nature
Knowing flowers grow from tiny little seeds,
And that season after season
When the petals bloom in splendor
The whole cycle is entrusted to the bees

I can marvel at the way the leaves
Are changed to brilliant colors
As they slowly fall upon the frosty ground
But I’ll never understand the man
Who looks at all this master plan
And insists that proof of God cannot be found

He gave the trees
To color His creation.
He gave the stars
To brighten up the sky
He gave us senses
To enjoy each wonder he has made.
Who am I to doubt He’s there,
Who am I

With our eyes we see the brilliance
Of the bright stars in the heavens
As their light glows from a distance far away
With our ears we hear the chirping
Of a bird so sweetly singing
In a melody that’s far beyond compare

With our nose we smell the fresh rain
And our mouths enjoy the sweet grain
That the earth brings forth on each and every day
But it’s hard to understand a man
Whose body holds this master plan
And insists that God’s not with us day to day

He gave the trees
Tto color His creation.
He gave the stars
To brighten up the sky
He gave us senses
To enjoy each wonder he has made
Who am I
To doubt His wondrous plan
That was formed
By the master’s hand
And given from above to man
Who am I

If you’ll open up your eyes and ears
You’ll see Him as he draws you near
And hear His gentle voice say
I Love you

Holy God I Adore You

Holy God I adore you
You’re high above the earth
Holy God you are worthy of my praise
Lifting my hands
Lifting my heart
Lifting my voice in worship
Holy God I magnify your name

Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
Worthy are you Lord
Words aren’t enough
To tell of your love
You’re the one that I adore

Holy God I adore you
You’re high above the earth
Holy God you are worthy of my praise
Lifting my hands
Lifting my heart
Lifting my voice in worship
Holy God I magnify your name

Glory and honor I bring to you
Glory and honor and praise
Great are you Lord
Richer than gold
I worship your glorious name

With all my heart
With all my strength
With all my mind I sing
With all my soul
With all my life
This offering I bring

Holy God I adore you
You’re high above the earth
Holy God you are worthy of my praise
Lifting my hands
Lifting my heart
Lifting my voice in worship
Holy God I magnify your name

This Thanksgiving Day

Blossoming flowers
Birds in the air
Rain in due season
Clouds white and fair

Moon in last quarter
Stars shining bright
Sun in the heavens
Giving us light

These are things I love in my life
These are the things that make me smile
These are the things for which I give thanks
This Thanksgiving Day

Food on the table
Smells like a dream
Choices of drinks
Pie with whipped cream

Family around us
How blessed we are
People that care
Both near and afar

These are things I love in my life
These are the things that make me smile
These are the things for which I give thanks
This Thanksgiving Day

Joy overflows
Peace overcomes
Love overwhelms
Thanksgiving has come

Most of all thanks
For mercy and grace
That comes from my God
This Thanksgiving Day

These are things I love in my life
These are the things that make me smile
These are the things for which I give thanks
This Thanksgiving Day

The Humble Heart

I saw the angels gather
By the throne of God
Before the sun had dawned one cloudy day
I strained to hear them talking
And then the angels said
Lord, how can we go bless someone today

God smiled and nodded slowly
That question pleased Him so
He rose up from His throne and all got still
His voice then filled the heaven’s
I could hear the words He said
I’ll write them here so you can know His will

Bring peace to those that fear
Bring joy to those that weep
Bring hope to all who think their life is bleak
Bring healing to the sick
Deliverance to the bound
Bring strength to all who tremble and are weak

Give sight to all the blind
Give hearing to the deaf
Give words to those whose tongues have never talked
Wisdom to the seekers
Knowledge to the teachers
Give strength to all the lame who’ve never walked

The angels listened closely
As the master spoke these words
They sang hallelujah when He sat back down
Then one spoke up for all of them
Lord we gladly will do all
Just tell us which ones need which blessing now

God leaned over to the angels
I will not forget His words
Just listen to their prayers was His reply
Give ear to intercessors
As they lift up their requests
Fulfill the cries of those with humble hearts

The angels then retreated
They headed down to earth
One question filled my heart and mind day
When I lift up my voice
In petition to the Lord
Is it with a humble heart that I pray

I Thank You Lord

For the birds that sing
For the bright sunshine
For the air I breath
I thank you Lord

For the rain that comes
For the stars at night
For the gentle breeze
I thank you Lord

For a heart that beats
For a mind that thinks
For a soul that’s saved
I thank you Lord

For the peace that stills
For a joy that that flows
For enduring hope
I thank you Lord

For a loving wife
For three sweet girls
For five grand kids
I thank you Lord

For a praying church
For my firm Pastor
For good fellowship
I thank you Lord

For your great love
For mercy grand
For amazing grace
I thank you Lord

For God the Father
For Christ the Son
For the Holy Spirit
I thank you Lord

I thank you Lord
For all I have
I give to you
All that I am

I honor you
With all my praise
As everyday
I thank you Lord

One More Day

Slivered sunbeams touch the gray clouds at morn
As rising sunlight begins the clouds to adorn
Shimmering red and orange fills the coming dawn
You’ve granted me one more day

Slipping slowly out from the comfort of bed
Opening eyes wiping the sleep from my head
Feet hit the floor standing I slowly tread
I praise you for one more day

Your mercy is overwhelming
Your grace washes over me
Your love surrounds me in the air I breath
You are all I need

Solemnly sifting through the truth in your book
Studying how you bless those that look
I am grateful that me you have not forsook
I will give to you this one more day

You owe me nothing
Yet you grant me breathe
I am but dust
Yet you gave up your life
I often fail
Yet your faithful to me
Marvelous wonderful Lord

Your mercy is overwhelming
Your grace washes over me
Your love surrounds me in the air I breath
You are all I need

You owe me nothing
Yet you grant me breathe
I am but dust
Yet you gave up your life
I often fail
Yet your faithful to me
Marvelous wonderful Lord

From This Moment On

I was drifting
Far away from you
Didn’t take time to pray
Or praise you each day
I was struggling
To make sense of life
Then I turned to the cross
And I found what I lost

You paid the price for me;
Suffered and died for me.
Rose from the dead to give
Eternal life
I have so much to be
Thankful for now I see
Everything you have done
To give me life

So from this moment on
I am yours every day.
From this moment on
I will follow your ways
From this moment on
I will give you my praise.
You are the Lord of my life
From this moment on

I am trusting
My whole life to you.
I will take time to pray
Ae you each day
I am seeking
To draw close to you
So I’ll worship your name
And I’ll rest in your grace

You give your love to me;
Pour out your grace so free.
Your Holy Spirit brings
Joy to my soul
I have so much to be
Thankful for now I see.
Everything you have done
To give me life

Moment by moment
I’ll take time to pray
Moment by moment
I’ll worship your name
Moment by moment
I’ll trust in your grace
Every moment of every day

So from this moment on
I am yours every day.
From this moment on
I will follow your ways
From this moment on
I will give you my praise.
You are the Lord of my life
From this moment on

He Does

Who names the stars one by one
Who tames the wind and lights the sun
Who calms the sea when storms rage on
He does

Who sounds the thunder for all to hear
Who brings the dawn for birds to cheer
Who adorns earth with flowers to wear
He does

Almighty God creator
Ruler of heaven and earth
All that He does
Displays His great love
Lift up your praise
All of your days
Tell all the world what He does

Who sees your tears and wipes them away
Who hears your words when you silently pray
Who walks beside you by night and by day
He does

Who heals your wounds and eases your pain
Who brings you peace when turmoil rains
Who lifts our faith so doubt can’t remain
He does

He came to earth to set us free
Gave His life on Calvary
Rose to life and victory
All for you all for me

Who forgives sin and shows us sweet grace
Who showers mercy and to all who obey
Who loves us more than words can say
He does

Almighty God creator
Ruler of heaven and earth
All that He does
Displays His great love
Lift up your praise
All of your days
Tell all the world what He does
Just praise Him!

A Young Boy’s Lunch

It took a young boys lunch,
A little bread and fish
To feed the multitudes that day

You may not have much
To offer to the Lord
He’ll make it more
If you let Him have his way

The crowd came one by one
To hear what Jesus had to say
They came to Him from near and from far
As the time drew on they still remained
And it was nearing end of day
The disciples said it’s time to send them home

But Jesus knew what He would do
And told His men to gather round
And have the multitudes sit on the ground
He told them they should feed the crowd
But they could find no food around
Except a little boy and his lunch

So the Lord took the lunch
A little bread and fish
And offered thanks unto God
Then he asked His men to go
To pass it out to everyone
And there was more than enough for all

It took a young boys lunch,
A little bread and fish
To feed the multitudes that day

You may not have much
To offer to the Lord
He’ll make it more
IIf you let Him have his way

There are times we don’t know
And our hearts are filled with doubt
Because our mind can’t see to work it out
But then the Master comes
With his arms stretched out
And takes the little faith that we have left

And He lifts us up
Giving thanks to God Father
Multiply your mercy in your child’s life today
And let him know you’ll help him on his way
For it only takes a little in the Master’s hand
To mold and shape my life into His plan

It took a young boys lunch,
A little bread and fish
To feed the multitudes that day

You may not have much
To offer to the Lord
He’ll make it more
If you let Him have his way
