He Longs To Hear

I often seek to hear God’s voice
To guide me day by day
He comes and gently speaks to me
Showing me the way

He spoke before the dawn today
His words were very clear
He told me that most every day
My voice He longs to hear

He longs to hear me giving thanks
For all that he has done
From the Spirits leading in my life
To the giving of His Son
Each day He makes the sun to rise
And the stars to shine at night
Oh that we would thank the Lord
For the blessings in our lives

He longs to hear me praying
For the many that I know
Who need a touch from Him today
His power He wants to show
All week I told those close to me
That I would pray for them
He longs to have me take the time
To lift those prayers to Him

He longs to hear me praise Him
With all my heart and soul
To lift His name above all names
His glory to be told
With mighty anthems raising high
Our Hallelujahs ring
Lift up His praise for all to hear
As His great name we sing

Jesus mighty Son of God
All power and praise to you
Glory in the highest
I lift my arms to you
Praise and adoration
With all I have within
Exalted is your name oh Lord
My God, my everything

I was walking on the beach
In a dream I had last night
Soft sand under my feet
As the waves crashed in
Incessantly

Then I heard the spirit speak to me
With the still small voice of God
“Hear the waves praise my name?
Hear them never cease to shout?
Loud and free.”

Then I traveled in my dream
To a meadow lined with trees
Just before the day dawned
As the birds chirp in glee
Unceasingly

Then I heard the spirit speak to me
With the still small voice of God
“Hear the birds praise my name?
Hear them fill the air with song?
So beautifully.”

Nature sings my praise all day
From wind to rain to streams
I long to hear the voice of man
Joining in their song

My crowning achievement
I gave him all of this
All of nature is at his disposal
All he needs is provided
Just like the birds and beasts
Just like the flowers and trees
Yet man does not praise me
But mocks me, scorns me, blames me

All I do is love him
I gave my son to set him free
I gave the spirit to guide him
Yet he chooses to remain lost
To remain by himself
Trying to figure life out
Trying to make it on his owns
Turning to things unknown
Harmful things, deadly things

Oh, man, turn to me
Lift up my name
Sing aloud my praise
I will lift you up
I will set you free
I will guide you through this world
Because I love you
I always have
I always will

Join natures praise
Join the thankful chorus

Gently laying on my bed
Pillow nestling weary head
By His hand He wisely led
All the day long

Closing tired eyes to sleep
Falling into night so deep
Knowing He my soul did keep
All the day long

Sun awakens as I rise
Looking to the eastern skies
He will brighten waking eyes
All the day long

Hours are filled with things to do
Giving joy to me and you
He has plans forever new

Constantly amazed by grace
Looking for His loving face
Lifting up my voice in praise

What a Savior what a King
Walks with me through everything
He deserves the praise I sing

Time has swiftly passed away

I’ve had days when I was weary and days when I was sad
Days when I was healthy and days when I was glad
In all my days I realized one very simple truth
Gods goodness always overwhelmed my trials

Always there to meet my need

Worship Him always

I’ve had days when I was sick and days when I was down
Days when I was healthy and days I walked alone
But one truth stood for sure through every single hour
God helped me through each moment by His power

And can not be been back
We can not change
The past
We can not go back
And do it over
We can not escape it

But we can overcome it
Wipe out any negative effects
Rise above any wrongdoings
Become better because of it

Make it disappear
And no longer be a conduit
For doubt
Or fear
Or worry
Or misgivings
We can
Let it go
To embrace the only thing we have

God says
He will wipe away our sins

Wonderful Is Our God

I was walking down the street this morning
Just before the breaking dawn
The birds were singing melodies
It made a joyful song
I asked the Lord to help me understand
The chorus they sang out
And He whispered these words in my ear
And I began to shout

Wonderful is our God
So wonderful are His ways
He makes the sun to rise
Every single day
Wonderful is our God
So wonderful to me
I’ll sing my song out loud for all to hear

When I wake up tomorrow I’ll know what to do
As I rise up out of bed
The birds have given me a song
It’s stuck inside my head
I will offer up my praise to the Lord most high
For the blessings He gives me
He is worthy of my praise each day
I will gladly stand and sing

Wonderful is our God

There is never a moment He’s not worthy
Never a moment He’s not there

Today’s all you’ve got
So give that to God
His grace is a timely free gift

He does not give more
Than you need for today
Until the next day has come
So don’t fret or worry
And don’t be distressed
He’ll give what you need to stay calm

I can assure you
That God has a plan for you
Which will be better than yours
I know for certain
That His way is destined
To wipe away all of your tears

When you give in
And respond to His calling
He’ll guide you each step of the way
And when it gets hard
He’ll send in His mercy
To make your life better each day

Just like a watchmaker He has a plan
It has been designed just for you
He knows He design
He knows when it’s time
To work out His plan in you

When you seem to be broke
And you’re wondering why
Just put them in His loving hands
Don’t worry or fret
He knows what to do
To put you together again

A watchmaker knows how to fix His designs
He knows all the parts and their place
The watch’s design is no puzzle to him
His knows all about every piece

God’s your designer and He knows your life
He knows what the future will bring
Your trials are never a problem for Him
He knows how to lead you through things

Just like a watchmaker He has a plan
It has been designed just for you
He knows He design
He knows when it’s time
To work out His plan in you

He Will Handle It

People ask me why
There’s cancer in my life
When I have done my best to serve the Lord
Others ask me how
A loving God allows
The suffering of a baby with disease

Some will ask me when
The prejudice will end
So people of this world can live in peace
Others ask me what
Will stop those who corrupt
The morals keep on going down it seems

I answer them with patience
For my faith is in the Lord
I know that He works all things for our good
It matters not to me
The answers that you seek
Because I know that God is in control

He will handle it
All the heartache that you feel
He will handle it
When your life seems so unreal
When all reason has escaped you
And it seems there’s no way out
Just trust your loving God
He will handle it

The word says that His ways
Are much higher than mine
His thoughts are too magnificent to know
If I would just give in
And trust His loving hand
All worry in my life would have to go

We live this life by faith
Where we place it is the key
To how each day will bring us peace or fear
I’m trusting in the Lord
Through every coming storm
My confidence in Him will long endure

And when I face a test
I can calmly sit and rest
For it matters not what storm will come my way
I’m trusting in His word
I know He’s in control
He’ll bring good out of every single day

He will handle it
All the heartache that you feel
He will handle it
When your life seems so unreal
When all reason has escaped you
And it seems there’s no way out
Just trust your loving God
