I used to act quite contumely
Filth poured from my mouth profusely
But then Jesus came
My language He changed
I’m blessed by His grace and mercy

Are you there? Do you hear me? As I quietly call your name. Are you there? Do you hear me? My prayer is still the same. I want to know you more I want to feel your touch I want to hear your voice Do you hear mine? Are you there? Do you see me? As I go through trials of life. Are you there? Do you see me? When my life is full of strife. I want to know you more I want to feel your touch I want to hear your voice Do you hear mine? Out of the silence I hear your voice - Gently it speaks to my soul "I am here I hear your voice I will answer in my time I am here I see your life My help is near you all the time Do not fear Do not worry I will never leave your side."
Sometimes it rains, Sometimes it snows, Sometimes it's sunny, Sometimes it's cold I am so glad I'm not in control Sometimes I'm up. Sometimes I'm down Sometimes I can't. Lift my feet off the ground And still I'm so glad I'm not in control Sometimes I cry. Sometimes I laugh Sometimes I'm empty. Sometimes I'm full And always I'm glad. I'm not in control We can do all we want, Say all we can say Take every measure, Pray all we can pray And still we will know we are not in control Because God is all powerful knowing and wise He directs our lives from up in the skies And I am always so glad that He's in control But there is one thing' That I do control There is one thing That is in my hands One thing I must relay My attitude It shapes my life And the lives I touch each day It shapes my walk And the oaths I take every day It shapes my future And How I will view each day My challenge to you - Take control of what you can - Your attitude And leave control of all else In God's hands. You will find a happier life!
The wind is blowing Howling outside my window Refreshing, Invigorating Ever changing in its strength And direction Bringing with it change. The Holy Spirit is like the wind Calling my name Refreshing Invigorating Ever changing in its strength And direction Bringing with it change For my life Am I listening to the wind, To the Holy Spirit? He speaks to me Guiding me, Teaching me, Disciplining me, Helping me grown Helping me change. Am I listening To the still small voice As it calls out from the wind Follow me Learn from me I will take you where you cannot go yourself I will take you higher And farther Than you can imagine Listen to the wind Listen to the Holy Spirit He calls to you
Hail to the King who came yesterday Humble and meek laid in the hay Worshiped by wise men, Shepherds kept guard Led their by Angels and a bright morning star Hail to the King who came down from His throne To be born in a manger. To be born all alone The world did not notice. The world did not care That the Lord of all Lords was suddenly there Hail to the King, He was born to die For my sins and yours God in flesh, now alive He would walk among men. He would tell them of love He would show them the way of the Father above Then they'd beat him and mock him and send him to death Yet He would forgive them until His last breath Hail to the King. Our salvation is here Don't get left behind, come and draw near He cries out to know you. He knocks at the door Won't you open your heart so His love can be yours?
Healed By His miraculous hand Healed He was wounded for our transgressions Bruised for our iniquities The chastisement of our peace was upon Him And by His stripes we are healed Could the prophet make it any clearer? Can God make it any clearer? Have you experienced His healing? His forgiveness? His deliverance? Do you have His peace? It is right there, waiting for you - A simple acknowledgement of His sacrifice And your unworthiness Is all it takes. Won't you ask Him in today? Allow the Savior to heal your hurt Remove your iniquities Grant you His peace? He is standing at the door knocking Gently knocking at the door of your heart Now is the accepted time Today is the day of salvation!

In the quiet of the morning God meets with me In the stillness of the evening God meets with me When I take time to be still God meets with me We can see His presence Everywhere we look When can marvel at His majesty In His amazing creation We can know that He is with us Everywhere we go. And He speaks to us! The God of the universe Speaks to us. Daily. Hourly. Minute by Minute! Take time to listen. To listen to His voice. To hear His sweet words. Drawing us near Ever so near. "Draw me nearer, nearer blessed Lord To the cross where thou has died Draw me nearer, nearer, nearer blessed Lord To the precious bleeding side.
