The heavens shall be open
A white horse shall appear
The man who sits upon him
Brings both judgment and war

His eyes are like a fire
His head bore many crowns
Clothed in garments dipped in blood
The Word of God He’s called

The armies of all heaven
Will follow Him this day
White horses will they ride upon
White garments will array

The fowls of the earth are called
To feast upon all flesh
And all who do remain on earth
Will meet a forecast death

If you are not familiar
With the words I’ve written here
Revelation nineteen ten
Is where you start to read

I do not share to frighten to
Because not all are doomed
There is a way of being saved
From all this talk of gloom

Make Jesus Christ your Lord and King
He is the only way
To be in heaven on this day
Won’t you be saved today

Foolish Habits

This world has lots of pleasures
They are wonderful to try
They make us feel important
Or they give us such a high
In this life we will face many
Of the tempters little ploys
They are all meant to enchant you
Into thinking flesh is Lord

But I have news for you my friend
The day is coming soon
When the King of Kings and Lord of Lords
Will come as a bridegroom
He is looking for a church
That is gleaming white as snow
There is just one way to get there
That is Jesus Christ to know

Put aside your foolish habits
The repent of all your sin
Allow the blood of Jesus
To wash you clean within
Accept His blood filled sacrifice
For He dies for you and me
Then he rose again from death
To give life eternally

When the battle is raging and my strength is almost gone
I have run out of weapons and I feel all alone
There is one who remains who will always be true
I open my heart and I run to you

When my health goes to pieces and I feel a bit lame
I can get to the point that death seems an escape
There is one who remains that can heal every pain

There’s so many people
Running with masks on
Hoping to fool some
Doing their goods deeds
Fulfilling their needs
Hoping that one day
They too will find the way
Into the pearly gates
For all of time

When Jesus will find them
Their disguise will not hide them
If He’s only Lord in name
Then they will be turned away
They must follow His commands
In order to make a stand
Today will you bow to Him
As Lord over everything
For all of time

The Only Way

I find it funny that some people think
That all we have is life on earth
And others think we will come back in some form
So that our life will have more worth

Still others think they must do good deeds to earn
A place in the heavens above
And others think all have been rescued from hell
Whatever they do is enough

It seems so bizarre to me
That Jesus died on a tree
So that all of us could be free
If we did not have a choice

If God would save everyone
Then why would He send His son
Why not just have it be done
By the sound of His mighty voice

After all the whole world was made
By His voice in just 6 days
Couldn’t He make us all saved
So we could all rejoice

When you think about what God has done for us
And how He has showed us His grace
Than you’ll know that accepting His Son as our Lord
Is truly the only way

Every Day Counts

We’ve all been given so many years
So many tears will we shed
Our life on this earth
Begins with our birth
And lasts until this flesh is dead

After this flesh has expired
Eternity waits just ahead
How we’ve behaved
Determines our fate
Heaven’s joy or a hell we would dread

Every day counts
Every word relates
Every action has been written down
If you’ve gone amiss
Think hell does not exist
In hell’s fire you’ll eventually drown

There is only one way to escape
From the fury of hell that awaits
Trust Jesus today
He’s the only way
To make heaven you’re home that day

Down on your knees
Repent of your sin
Ask for forgiveness
Ask Jesus in
Into your heart
Confess Him as Lord
Believe He arose
And go sin no more

Every day counts
Every word relates
Every action has been written down
If you’ve gone amiss
But then you’ve confessed
Heaven’s doors will await with a crown

Walking with Jesus

I have walked many places in my life
In the valleys and the mountains and the woods
I have seen many sights
I have taken many flights
And through all of it my life has been quite good

Walking through childhood was fun and games
Walking through the teens i was bored
Then i walked through drugs
And booze and many lusts
Before I started walking with the Lord

There’s nothing like walking with Jesus
He guides me through every mistake
And when I go astray
He helps find my way
He’ll carry me if that’s what it takes

Walking with my Lord brings peace and joy
Walking with my Lord brings hope
He brings me new life
Through His great sacrifice
His love is walking with me as I go

There’s nothing like walking with Jesus

Many Laughs

I once was a man full of laughter
I was happy for moments in time
I used many laughs through my years
But I never knew which one was mine

Sometimes I’d burst out a HA
Other times snickers were good
A guffaw a cackle or giggle
I’d laugh just as loud as I could

But all of this laughter was surface
I was hurting deep down inside
Because happiness lasts for a moment
After that sadness ruled my life

But then I met Jesus my Savior
He cleansed me from all of my sin
His peace settled into my spirit
He brought me true joy within

Now I have this joy forever
It’s not for a moment and gone
If always sad in your spirit
Look to Jesus and true joy will come

You have done great things for me

You gave up your life for me
When I think of your great love
That came down from heav’n above

You came to me when I was lost
You gently called my name
I didn’t know you’d paid the cost
To wipe away shame
Your Holy Spirit gently dealt
He showed all my sin
He showed to me my lack of wealth
How I was poor within

Then one night my heart came to know
The choice that I would face
A life forever lived below
Or in a glorious place
I chose you Jesus on that night
The years have passed by since
I’ve learned the choice I made was right

Perhaps you haven’t made the choice
