When I Call Your Name

I was quite weary
The outlook was dreary
I soon became teary
Then I called your name

My worries all vanished
My life no more tarnished
Your Spirit replenished
When I called your name

Thank you, dear Lord, for the sweet peace you give
That helps me to get through this life I must live
When I call on your name, I can trust you will give
A joy to my heart once again

When I was in sin
Had trouble within
My life was a spin
When I called your name

You hung on a tree
To bring mercy to me
And now I am free
Since I called on your name

Because you paid the price for my anguish and shame
As they beat up your body and mocked your sweet name
Because of your grace my life has been changed
Since you poured out your mercy on me

Thank you, dear Lord, for the sweet peace you give
That helps me to get through this life I must live
When I call on your name, I can trust you will give

The Lord is my Shepherd
He has my heart
And when times are tough
I shall not want

He makes me to lie down
In pastures green
And leads me beside
The still waters serene

He restores my soul
When I'm in a test
And He leads me
Into righteousness

Yea though I walk
Through shadows dark
I have no fear
For your my rock

Your rod and staff
Bring comfort sweet
For I know that you
Are there with me

You anoint my head
With sweet perfume
My life us full
With more of you

Surely goodness
Lights my path
And mercy always
Has my back

And I will dwell
Eternally
In heavens realm
A home for me.

And I'm feeling mighty small
I can hear my Savior call

When my health is going down
And I'm feeling all alone
The Lord is on the phone
I got this

You're in my hand, so do not fear 
I have you right where you should be
Just remember in the times
That you feel you'll fall behind 
You just have to look to me 
I got this

When I seem so out of touch
And I feel that it's too much
There's the sound of His sweet voice
I got this

So I'll just praise Hm day by day 
Because I know He's here to stay
He carries me along the way
And then I hear Him say

You're in my hand, so do not fear 
I have you right where you should be
Just remember in the times

Came to set the captives free
Came to give the blind man His vision

Came to raise the dead to life
Came to make the leper my brother

Let us rejoice and sing Hallelujah 
Let us shout His praise aloud
Loud Hosanna ring in the heavens
Praise Him with a shout

Praise the Lord, He fed the five thousand
Came to call His children home 
Came to the cry of the orphan

Praise the Lord, He brought my salvation
Came to die upon a tree
Came to bring new hope to the nation's

The Word Speaks

"Who are you Lord?" I asked Him one day
After turning my head and losing my way
I feel like I've wondered too far astray
And now I'm not sure who you are

I waited to hear His voice speak in my ear
To bring some sweet words of hope and good cheer
But the longer I waited to more that I feared
I had wandered off too far away

I walked through the house and I spotted His book
It was covered in dust and had been overlooked
I opened the pages and soon my heart shook
At the words that jumped out at my eyes

"I am the Lord of mercy and grace
I suffer long for those seeking my face
I forgive sins and put life in their place
Come to me just as you are"

I knew right there He was speaking to me
So once again I fell down on my knees
Saying Father forgive and sanctify me
And then He took me in His arms

My friends If you're feeling the Lord's out of reach
And you can't hear His voice, or feel His sweet peace 
Just look to His word and the Bible will speak
And give you the comfort you need

I’m Gonna Praise Him

I'm gonna praise Him
For all He's done
He so loved the world
That He gave us His Son
I'm gonna praise Him,
He forgave my sins
Died upon a cross 
To bring me peace within

I'm gonna praise Him
He gives victory
Overcame the enemy
For you and me
Im gonna praise Him
Every single day
I was wand'ring off
And He showed me the way

So I will lift up my voice
To the Lord of Lords
I will lift up my hands
To the King of Kings
I will lift up my heart
To the Holy one
Jesus my everything

I'm gonna praise Him
He prepares a home
He has gone before me
And I'll never roam
I'm gonna praise Him
For eternity 
I'll be up in Heaven
He'll be there with me

So I will lift up my voice 
To the Lord of Lords
I will lift up my hands 
To the King of Kings
I will lift up my heart
To the Holy one
Jesus my everything

Messiah, Savior
Redeemer, Healer
Counselor, Comfort and Friend
Mighty and Powerful
God only wise
Jesus, the crucified Lamb
Born for me, lived for me
Died for me, rose for me
Jesus, the great I AM!

Don’t Just Remember

My Lord took me back to the Manger one day
I saw wise men and shepherds bowing to pray
Mary and Joseph were bowing their heads
Praising the newborn babe

Then He took me to John at the River Jordan
And I heard him ask Jesus if he was the one
The Spirit descended on Jesus that day
And God acknowledged His Son

Then I saw the five thousand sit at His feet
And from fishes and bread He gave them to eat
Abundant leftovers were scattered around
As Jesus just sat and preached

I came to a cave that was shut up tight
And soon He called out for the dead to gain life
The people around were frozen in awe
As Jesus walked into the night

Then the worst of all moments came into my sight
As I witnessed His trial and He didn’t fight
He stood there and took the offenses they threw
And silently gave up His life

They led Him away to an old rugged cross
Then I watched Him die, oh what a loss
But He asked that forgiveness be given to all
Before paying the ultimate cost

In those moments I realized the sights that I’d seen
Had all been revealed to me so I would see
That remembering what He had done for me
Would never be really enough

For the task that He has for me every day
Is to witness that He is the Truth and the Way
That salvation for all is a prayer away
If only I’ll help them believe.

Heavenly Reward

My first day in heaven what do I see
It's the voice of Jesus calling to me
He says welcome home, come sit by my side
Let me show the fruit that has come from your life

He opens my eyes to a vision of souls
Lining the streets made of purest gold
All ages and races are standing there free
And Jesus says all are because of me

This one from the mission field where you gave
That one from a Sunday School lesson one day
A third from the time I shared Christ on a bus
A fourth from the time that I just had to trust.

They came one by one as they slowly passed by
Saying thank you to me with a wonderful smile
And I realized each word I'd spoken down here
Had a lasting effect on someone else's ear.

I wished I could cry out to those still alive
To wake up and finally realize
That eternity was in the words that they spoke
Now is the time to talk about hope

Don't worry what anyone else might say
Just point everyone to Jesus TODAY
And then when your first day in heaven arrives
You too will see fruit that has come from your lives.

Miracle

It's a miracle, the love of God to me
It's a miracle, that He would set me free
I was headed for destruction and I had no cure
Until He shed His precious blood for me

It's a miracle, that He would save my soul
It's a miracle, that He would make me whole
I was broken and He picked the pieces up for me
When He shed His precious blood for me

Once I was lost and covered with shame 
I didn't even know Jesus name
Life seemed so happy, but then I found
I wasn't happy at all

Then someone told me about His love
How He died on the cross to save my soul
I bowed my head and called on His name
That's when He made me whole

It's a miracle, the love of God to me
It's a miracle, that He would set me free
I was headed for destruction and I had no cure
Until He shed His precious blood for me

Now I sing Hallelujah to the King if Kings
Hallelujah to the Lord of Lords 
Hallelujah to my Saviors name
Jesus, whom I adore.
