Make A Difference

Let your light shine, Lord, shine on me.
Hold it before me so I can see
All the hurt in this world that I am in
So I can make a difference

Help me see sickness, and pray for health
Help me see poverty, and pray for wealth
Help me see suffering, and pray for peace
Help me see bandage, and beg release.

But more than just praying is what they need
Lord, help me put in just one little seed
Lord, give me the words that I need to say
To turn their lives to your sweet ways.

Help me to bind up the wounded soul
Help me give comfort to those that mourn
Help me give joy to the sad and weak
Help me show peace in each word speak

Then when they ask me just why I care
It gives me a chance that I can share
How the love of Jesus has changed my life
And how He make them feel more alive

Let your light shine, Lord, shine on me.

On That Day

One day this old world will be left far behind 
My troubles will all disappear 
Since I have accepted my sweet Saviors love
I look for that day He appears 

My eyes will look upward to clouds overhead
And suddenly He will arrive
And all who have made Him their Savior and Lord
Will rise up to meet in the skies

On that day we'll be dancing to heavenly choirs
On that day we will pass pearly gates
On that day we will have no more pain, no more tears 
On that day we will see Jesus face

Singing power and glory and honor and praise
To the Lamb seated high on the throne
Seeing cherubim dancing a heavenly dance
To the King who has called us His own 

That day will come soon so don't wait any more
To tell all your friends it is near
Let your loved ones all hear the great power of His love
And pray that they'll open their ears

And when Jesus arrives they will rise up with Him
And will be carried into His arms
Then they'll rejoice with us as we enter those gates
Where will spend all eternity time

On that day we'll be dancing to heavenly choirs

His Promises

If you're holding onto promises this world would give to you
It won't take long for you to realize           
That fleeting are the words that this world might promise you
And your faith will falter all throughout your  life
                                                              
But when the God of heaven gives his promises to you
You can trust they'll never falter, never fail
His word is grounded in the fact that He can never lie
So sit back, relax, and know they're all for you

His promises are timeless 
His promises are true
His promises are written in his book just for you  
So when the trials come storming 
In your daily walk you'll see
Every promise in the book is there for you

Hold on to the promises each and every day
Hold on to the word of life that guides you on your way
Hold on to the truth that what is written He will do    
Hold on for every promise is His way of loving you

His promises are power
His promises are peace
His promises are healing  
And joy His promise brings

His promise is deliverance 
His promise sets you free
His promises erased your sins
When He died upon that tree 

His promises will lift you up
His promises will stand
His promise will restore you faith 
Remove your doubt and fear

So look up and praise His mighty name
For His promises are true 
And hold on to His word of life
They're written just for you
Grace & Mercy

Merciful God

He could have left us in our sinful condition
Left us no hope and no ambition
Left us in deep despair within our hearts
He didn't have to send His own son
To die on a cross our souls to ransom
He didn't have to come into my heart

But He loved us so much He gave us
His only Son to die and save us
Mercy was given long ago on the cross

Merciful God, so full of goodness
Merciful God, you always loved us
Even when we were deep in sin and shame,
Merciful God, I sing this love song
Merciful God, I praise your one Son
Jesus my Lord, I praise your holy name

Jesus, Savior and Lord
Jesus, the one I adore
Jesus, the King of all Kings
Jesus, master of all things
Jesus, I love you forever
Jesus, your grace is a favor
Jesus, merciful God to me.

My Part

I often sit and wonder,
In my quiet little place –
If this love will last forever,
And a smile comes on my face.

Again, this is so different – 
The feelings are immense,
My first life has been spent
Without question of expense.

I can feel his love so deeply
In my heart throughout the day,
And I know that I will always be
Walking in his Holy way.

And I truly thank you Lord of all
For the love you bring within;
I have heard your true and Holy call,
I will never turn again.

You fill my life with joy
In a world where I was lost,
I no longer feel that I’m a boy – 
I’m a man; I’ve paid the cost.

Now Jesus lives within me,
And a love does fill my heart
That I wish to share with all of you
To fulfill my rightful part.

In The Middle Of Your Mess

Weary soul are you lost and feeling hopeless
Have the troubles of this life crushed your strength
Have you wallowed in despair 
Just to find there's sorrow there 
Does it seem like all you do is all in vain

Don't give up on your dreams and your desires 
There is one who can bring all these to pass
In the middle of your mess
He still sees you at your best
He's just waiting for the day when you will call

Jesus, Jesus come and rescue me
Jesus, Jesus open my eyes to see
All the plans you have for me

Jesus, Jesus my hope is in your hands
Jesus, Jesus help me to understand  
You've redeemed me, set me free
Forever yours I want to be

It’s Pretty Amazing

It’s pretty amazing what God has done
He loved us so much He gave us His son
It’s pretty amazing what God has done for me
It’s pretty amazing to realize
He rose from the gave to give us new life
It’s pretty amazing what God has done for me

What have I done to deserve this precious grace?
How can I even think His mercy is so free?
All of my life I’ve hidden from His face
Yet He has always been there calling out to me

So I finally realized that Jesus loved me
And I knelt down at the cross of sin and shame
I asked Him to forgive me and live inside of me
And I promised Him I’d start to praise His name

I heard the Holy Spirit whisper softly
My child you have become a Son of God
Now raise up on your feet and tell your story
That is why I shout and sing His love

It’s pretty amazing what God has done
He loved us so much He gave us His son
It’s pretty amazing what God has done for me
It’s pretty amazing to realize
He rose from the gave to give us new life

Sing highest praise to the Lamb
Shouting hallelujah with our praise
The highest praise to His name

Jesus, You’re Amazing

Jesus you're amazing 
You're everything to me
I was dying in my sin
And then you rescued me

Jesus you're amazing 
You're more than life to me
When I gave my life to you
You met my deepest need

My need was not for riches 
Or for power or for fame
My need was not possessions
Or for fleshly gain

My desperate need was cleansing
Deep down into my soul
And when I gave my life to you 
You made me whole

You gave me peace I'd never known
And joy unspeakable 
You gave me faith that truly works 
And grace unmatchable

You gave forgiveness for my sin
And mercy not deserved 
You gave your life so I could live
You taught me how to serve
