By His grace, my sins are gone.  By His grace, the battle’s won
By His grace, I am set free.  By His grace, there’s victory

There is nothing I can do within myself
To deserve the wondrous grace that He imparts to me
There is no place in this world I’d rather be
Then to bow before His throne, worship Him alone, 
And enjoy the awesome presence of His grace

I just want to thank you Lord for loving me
You gave up your life for me at Calvary
I didn’t deserve it
You thought I was worth it
Now you have given me life eternally

I search through my life and find there is nothing worthy of your love
Just piles of sin and pride deep within that stays with me all the time
I guess you saw something that I cannot see
You knew there was more that I could grow up to be
You left your throne to die on a tree
Just for me.  Just for me

I just want to thank you Lord for loving me

Now you give me your grace every day and your mercy abounds to me
I see how the events in my life always find a way to fulfill my need
Some may be things that I think are quite bad
And sometimes I face things that make me sad
In the end I always seem to come out glad
That you love me.  That you love me

So I will sing praise the Lord.

Though I face a fiery furnace

Sometimes I think I’m dreaming when I think about what Jesus has done
He has taken this lost sinner and made me as if I am His son
No longer does He hold all my sins and transgressions against me
He has removed them from me  as far as the West is from the East

Now I sit at my desk and I ponder the changes in my life
He has moved me across the country and given me a wife
He has blessed me with children and their children too
I just can’t help but thank Him for all He has brought me through

He tidied me up
He turned me around
He put my feet on solid ground
He holds nothing against me
He always is for me
He’s there when I need Him the most
He’s Jesus

I’ve given my life to Him and wonder where He’s leading me
I know all He wants is that I’ll be the best I can be
So, I’ll give my life and all my desires to Him every day
I know I’ll do better when He’s in control all the way

He tidied me up

Since when does a king become a baby
Leaving His royal throne

Come to this earth alone

Since when does the Lord of all creation
Sit down with sinners to dine
Since when does the pure and spotless Savior
Touch the leper and the blind

Only since Jesus came to this earth

Since when does the Lord of all the armies
Become beaten, bruised and torn

Suffer through the sinners scorn

The days are getting shorter

I shudder as I balk
At the puppy’s morning walk
I simply want to get back to sleep

So, I get my garments on
