He Died There For You

In the midst of my troubles when all seems so lost
I turn my eyes upward to that man on the cross
He suffered in anguish pain ripped His soul
Despised and rejected the scars took their toll

In one last, deep breath "It is finished" He said
And He gave up His life and was taken for dead
"What was finished" you ask as you look on that tree
"Did the death of one man make a difference to me"

The plan of salvation that God had begun
In the beginning had now been won
For Jesus took all of our sin on that cross
He gave up His life at a terrible cost

The perfect lamb slain for all of our sin
So that we might find freedom deep down within
Have you knelt at His cross and accepted this truth?
So precious and gracious - he died there for you.

Could It Be

There’s a hole in my heart and I’m trying hard to fill it
With the things of this world but it’s never quite enough
There’s a voice in my ear and I’m trying hard to hear it
But the noise of this world is so loud I can’t make it out

Could it be that God is trying to reach me?
Could it be that He really cares for me?
Could it be the time for me to give in?
Could this be the day he set’s me free?

CHORUS
Come into my heart. Help me know your voice
Bring to me your peace. I have made the choice
Come into my heart and I will rejoice in your love. In your love

There’s a place in my soul that is longing just to know you
I have searched for years and have waited long for this time

Could it be today you will deliver?
Could it be today that I will know?
Could it be your love will finally find me?
Could it be you’ll wash me white as snow?

CHORUS

BRIDGE
I cry out. I cry out to you
I fall down and kneel in prayer
Then I hear your voice loud and clear
Deep within my heart I know you’re here
Deep within my soul you set me free

Now Is Your Time

Today
Not tomorrow
Not next week
Not next month
Not next year
Today
Today is the day of salvation
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for
Today you will be with me in paradise
The kingdom of God is within you
Consecrate yourselves today
This is the day that the Lord has made
Today
What are you waiting for?
Why do you not speak?
Why do you not go?
Why do you not give?
Today is your day
Today is the only day God has given you.
There is no guarantee of tomorrow
Yesterday is gone
Today is your day
Now is your time

Bought With A Price

I am not my own, I’ve been bought with a price
The precious blood of Jesus Christ
He has washed away all my sin and shame
He made me His child and calls me by name

He offered His life to ransom my soul
The nails in His hands and the thorns in His brow
From the cross He forgave me so I could be saved
Then He died once for all and was placed in the grave

For three days He laid there and all hope seemed lost
He had suffered and died a cruel death on the cross
But the stone rolled away and He rose from the dead
Now He’s alive and in heaven He rests

I owe Him my life. I owe Him my all
What can I give Him that died for us all
My sacrifice is to give everything
All that I am is my offering

What Was Finished?

In the midst of my troubles when all seems so lost
I turn my eyes upward to that man on the cross
He suffered in anguish pain ripped His soul
Despised and rejected the scars took their toll
In one last, deep breath “It is finished” He said
And He gave up His life and was taken for dead
“What was finished” you ask as you look on that tree
“Did the death of one man make a difference to me”
The plan of salvation that God had begun
In the beginning had now been won
For Jesus took all of our sin on that cross
He gave up His life at a terrible cost
The perfect lamb slain for all of our sin
So that we might find freedom deep down within
Have you knelt at His cross and accepted this truth?
So precious and gracious – he died there for you.

Your Loving Plan

I kneel here down on my knees
Giving thanks for all you've done for me
I'm so unworthy of your grace and mercy
But you give me faith to believe

I believe you came to earth from heavens lofty throne
I believe you walked on earth to show the Father to everyone
I believe you took the punishment for all of my sin
I believe you died upon the cross to redeem your creation

I stand up with lifted hands
I'm amazed at the wonder or your plan
You thought of me when you took the nails
Jesus I thank you for your loving plan

I believe you came to earth from heavens lofty throne
I believe you walked on earth to show the Father to everyone
I believe you took the punishment for all of my sin
I believe you died upon the cross to redeem your creation

Then you arose. Yes, you arose
Eternal life for me was born
Jesus arose. Christ arose
Now I will praise Him. Lift up this name
All if my worship to Christ who arose

I believe you came to earth from heavens lofty throne
I believe you walked on earth to show the Father to everyone
I believe you took the punishment for all of my sin
I believe you died, were buried and then arose again.

He Comes For ou

She came into Bethlehem
Meek and mild
Heavy with child
Riding a donkey for many miles
Worn and weary from a long journey
Seeking room to give birth
There was none but a stable
A lowly manger filled with hay
Would be the child’s resting place
Just one stranger in the city
Teaming with visitors
No one knew her
No one cared
No one knew whom she carried in her womb
Yet at his birth
Shepherds from the field came to greet him
They were told by angels to come
Come meet the King
Come meet the Savior
He brings peace on earth
Good will to man
They came
And they bowed
And they worshipped the King
Then they left and told all
And few understood what they said
Mary knew who He was
Joseph knew who He was
But the world did not know who just arrived
In such humility
In such a place as this

He comes into the gate
Lazarus awaits
Freshly risen form the dead
Bartimaeus awaits
His eyes wide open
The crowd awaits
To praise the coming King
Riding on a donkey
Meek and mild
Heavy with His fate and what awaits Him
Not the crowd
Not the praise
But the cross He sees coming for Him
He arrives to Hosannah
Blessed be the one who comes in the name of the Lord
He arrives to praise
Palm branches waving
People shouting and singing
He arrives to death
Calvary looms large in the distance
He knows He will be beaten
He knows He will wear a crown of thorns
He knows He will be condemned to die
He knows He will be nailed to a cross
Crucified
Yet He still comes
In great humility
To fulfill His destiny
And all prophesy
To all who think they know who He is
But have no idea what will become of Him
The pain
The agony
The suffering
The loneliness of the cross
All for us
All for me
All for you

Will you welcome the King?
Will you lift your palms to worship?
Will you welcome Him today?
Give Him all your praise?
Give your life today?
He gave His for you
Now it’s your turn
Your time
Your destiny
Let Him in
Welcome Him with open arms
He comes to die
Yet He comes to save
He comes to suffer
Yet He comes to heal
He comes to forgive
Yet He takes all your sin
Take His love today
He gives it for you

It’ A Wonderful Life

I have been restored
  like an old jalopy
    dusted off
      polished up
        engine rebuilt
         all original parts
           running smoothly
            a classic, priceless

I have been redeemed
    like a magazine coupon
     clipped out
       set apart
brought out of the dark at just the right time
given to the one who gives worth to it
at no cost of my own
                freely given

I have been delivered
like a letter in the mailbox
     from one place to another
from my old place to a new place
a place where I am free
free from the shackles of my old life
	  brought into a new life
	   a new creation

I have been sanctified
  set apart
    no longer the same
      cleaned up
       made righteous
         filled with the Holy Spirit
          filled with fruit and gifts
like a horn of plenty on Thanksgiving
	  I have all I need

I am a new creature in Christ
  The old man is gone
The new man lives by His grace
      He guides me
He ha a plan for me
        He heals me
         redeems me
           restores me
            delivers me
             and sanctifies me
 	    I am His
                He has mine

It’s a wonderful life!
Mercy and Grace

Escaping Hell

Once upon a time there was a sinner
His name was the same as mine
The drunkenness and drugs were his lifestyle
He did those things to pass the time

He was a long-haired, dope smoking hippie
He was dirty and smelly and raw
His filthy language matched his appearance
People really got what they saw

He hadn’t ever cared about salvation
Hell seemed liked the perfect place to go
He thought it would be a giant party
And forever he’d enjoy the show

A friend of his took him to church one Sunday
Where a missionary came on stage
He talked about a final destination
But the sinner didn’t recognize the place

He said hell was like a fiery furnace
Where the lost would burn forever and a day
Gnats and ants would run all through their living bodies
And there was only one way you could escape

A man named Jesus died upon a cross
To save all those who walked each day in sin
The sinner heard that he could have this rescue
If he’d confess his sin and repent

Of course, by now you know this is no fable
The sinner mentioned here was surely me
The day I heard that powerful story
Would change my life eternally

I now knew I did not want to go to hell
I knew I needed Jesus in my life
And when I asked for His blessed forgiveness
I knew that His salvation was now mine

Do you think hell will be a great big party?
If so, I have bad news for you today
Just think if you were tossed into a furnace
Where your body would burn up every day

Don’t get me wrong, you would still be living
The fire would not consume your life
But you would feel the fire burn and keep on burning
The blisters and the pain would not subside

Ants and gnats would bite you without ceasing
Demons kicking, clawing, scratching all the time
You’d feel every pain and every ounce of torment
And all the while your flesh would be alive

The end of all our days is drawing nearer
Maybe now’s the time you realize your end
Jesus came to save you from this hell destruction
And make heaven your home instead

Will you, today, put your trust in Jesus?
Will you ask Him for forgiveness of your sins?
Will you make Him Lord of your life forever?
If you will, you can rest assured you’ll win.

It’s not that all your trials will just vanish
But in the midst of them you will find peace
In sorrows you will find a place of comfort
In sickness you will find that He will heal

Joy will always be at your disposal
A joy that no earthly power can quench
And the hope of heaven will always be before you
No more sorrow, no more pain, and no more death

He Comes Running

I was lost without redemption
And I needed His salvation
Deep inside my soul I knew He was the way
I looked up and saw the cross
Then I knew that I was lost
He shed His blood so I could live another day

When I realized my weakness
I knew I needed His forgiveness
I knelt down and cried out for His saving grace
All at once I felt His presence
Giving me a brand-new essence
It was time to lift my hands and give Him praise

CHORUS
God I still on the throne
His mercy and grave never fail
God is still on the throne
Giving life to all who call upon His name

Still today there are times
When my life seems out of rhyme
I go drifting of and leave His loving arms
In my heart I still believe
That He beckons out to me
He is there to keep me safe from any harm

CHORUS

BRIDGE
He comes running after me. He comes running after me
He comes running after me with grace so free
He comes running after me so that h\He can show His mercy
He comes running, running after me

CHORUS
