Fill The Air

You may have seen I got a little antsy
And hit the publish button way to soon 
And my asthetic post
Went out with too much haste
So I changed what this quick post was going to do

I was going to talk about my Saviors beauty
Asthetically He’s way beyond compare 
Instead I think I’ll say
I’ll praise Him everyday
And hope that you will help me fill the air

Fill it with His  praises 
Loud Hosannas ring
Fill it with your worship 
Of Jesus Christ our King 
Fill with Hallelujahs 
Lift your voice and sing 
Fill the air with praises
To Jesus  Christ our King

I Lift Him Up

The desire wells up within me

Until I cannot contain it inside

My heart starts to beat a bit faster

And my hands lift up high to the sky

 

I raise my voice to the heavens

And His praise comes flowing out

My feet cannot keep from dancing

As I worship my Lord with a shout

 

I lift Him up

The name of Jesus Christ

I lift Him up

The one who gives new life

I lift Him up

My Savior and my Lord

The one that I adore

The King of Kings forever

I lift Him up

 

I sense His presence around me

As I lift up my voice and sing

Eternal Hallelujahs

To Jesus Christ  my King

The one who gives new life

I lift Him up

My Savior and Lord

The one that I adore

The King of Kings forever

I lift Him up

 

He is to be magnified, Jesus

He is to be glorified, Jesus

He is to be exalted

Jesus Christ my Lord

Perhaps you don’t have peace today
Or your joy has just run out
Maybe hope has vanished
And your life is filled with doubt

Maybe trials and troubles
Are closing in real fast
You don’t know where to  turn to
And you wonder if you’ll last

There’s an open invitation
That is waiting just for you
Jesus  knocking on your heart
He wants to comfort you

Won’t you ask Him in today
With a simple little prayer
“Jesus come into my heart,
I’m trusting in your grace”

Now just thank Him for His peace
Though you may not feel it yet
Thank Him for His love
And he joy He’s fill you with

But most of all just thank Him
That He waited just for you
To accept His invitation
Now to Him be ever true

Limitless

I thought about God’s love today
How He washed my sins away
He guides me through my every day
What a God I serve

Then I thought of His great grace
That He would come and take my place
Upon that cross in such disgrace
What a God i serve
His mercy is unending
His love is limitless
His grace is overwhelming and so free
His peace is so assuring
His joy is so immense
And all these blessings
He bestows on me
I thought about His mercy
How He overlooked my frailty
And used me in His ministry
What a God I serve
One day soon He’ll come again
Riding on the clouds
He’ll take us home to be with Him
Where we will sing and shout
I’ll lift His praise up every day
For all He’s done for me
I’ll tell of His great love
To everyone I meet
His mercy is unending
His love is limitless
His grace is overwhelming and so free
His peace is so assuring
His joy is so immense
And all these blessings
He bestows on me

He Never Stops Providing

God has been so good to me
And I just don’t know why
Every day His mercy grows
His blessings make me cry

I cry for joy, not sorrow
At what He does for me
He never stops providing
The many things I need

Right now I need a healing
I know He’s bringing that
As slowly and most surely
My strength is coming back

I needed transportation
As of yet I cannot drive
A friend calls on the phone
And says he will provide

My angel of a wife is here
She watches over me
She makes sure my medicines
Are where they need to be

She does all of the housework
She cooks me food to eat
She is amazing, that’s for sure
She’s God’s great gift to me

Even in this trial
When some would turn from God
I run to Him and praise Him
Because He reigns above

He is my rock and fortress
My strength and hiding place
This cancer is defeated
As I lift my hands in praise

I worship you sweet Jesus
Because you are my Lord
And I will sing forever
It’s you that adore

The Overflow

My life can be so simple
I’m just a normal guy
I often sit and wonder
And ask my own self why

Why would Christ die for me?
Why would He come to set me free?
Why would He love little old me?
Why oh why did He save me?

Then He shows me His great love
How exquisite it is
And He tells me it’s all mine
Now I belong to Him

And He blesses me each day
With so much I can’t contain
It overflows my life
And He fills me up again

My desire is that it flows
Out to you in words I write
May His love be known to all
As you read these words tonight

Open Up Your Bible

I opened up my Bible
To see what I could find
It was then I realized
It’s a virtual gold mine

When I look into the scripture
And I take the time to read
I can find the answer
To all my earthly needs

If I need a touch from Him
And health is what I lack
His word says He has healed me
By the stripes upon His back

If I need some comfort
For the hurts that life can bring
His word says He will give me joy
So much that I will sing

If trouble does surround me
And I never feel at ease
He says He’ll come and walk with me
And leave me with His peace

No matter what the problem
That plagues me day to day
His word will have my answer
And guide me on my way

So, open up your Bible
Take time to fully see
His blessings are all written down
They’re yours if you believe

Recognize the Enemy

We see the birds, the stars, the trees
We see our friends and families
We see a happy, smiling face
We see an old familiar place

So many things do meet the eye
Each day we marvel at the sky
But unseen danger can befall
Our pride is hidden from us all

Please keep your mind and spirit free
To recognize this  enemy
Call on God to help you see
When pride is rising up in thee

Flow

His grace comes like a river
Flowing from His throne
It overwhelms my spirit
It shows me His great love

His mercy is a fountain
Forgiveness reigns supreme
I rest in the assurance
That He has set me free

The river flows
The fountain flows
The Spirit flows
From God to me
The river flows
The fountain flows
The spirit flows
And blesses me

His spirit is a wellspring
Bubbling up inside
It guides me through each day
And comforts me at night

Every day I feel the flow
Welling up inside
I need to let it flow through me
And reach the lost for Christ
