Before I rise from sleep
Before the day begins
Before I take one step
I’m going to talk to Him

Before I think of work
Before I plan my day
Before I fix my hair
I’ll ask Him for His way

Jesus knows what this day brings
Before it even starts
If I will place my trust in Him
His peace will rule my heart
When trouble rears its ugly head
I will not lose my joy
Because my faith is anchored sure
He’ll go before the storm

Before my thoughts get full
Before my worries soar
Before my plans are set
I’ll look to His true Word

Before I take a sip
Before one bite goes down
Before my news is read
I’ll turn to His sweet sound

He knows the plans He has for me
Plans for good to build my faith

I’m enjoying my life on this journey
With a peace in the depth of my soul
For I know that my Savior is with me
Everywhere I go

When the trials of life overtake me
I can still keep His joy in my heart
For I know that the spirit will guide me
Everywhere I go

What a wonderful Savior, a glorious Lord
That would take of His time to be with me
Oh What grace He bestows and His mercy abounds
Every day that I’m on this journey

When I come to the end of my journey
I’m assured that I’ll be close to Him
For I know that He’ll travel beside me
Everywhere I go

When I walk with Him
All my troubles seem small
All my burdens are light
All my worries will fall
There’s a peace that endures
And a joy that’s sublime
So wherever I go
He walks right beside

What a wonderful Savior, a glorious Lord
That would take of His time to be with me

Day to Give Honor

Today I honor those who served
To bring us liberty
The warrior’s whO gave their time
To make thus country free

Throughout the years they fought and died
Always victorious
The strongest and the bravest force
Of soldiers glorious

They sacrificed their lives and health
To keep our children safe
Many are stuck in bodies worn
From pain there’s no escape

Our veterans deserve our praise
For sacrifices made
Without their sweat and blood spilt out
Our country would soon fade

Those serving now in countries far
Need every single prayer
They face our enemies for us
Our country’s hope they bear

So on this Independence Day
Take time to honor them
By flying flags and lifting prayers
For women and for men
Who give their all to keep us free
God bless America

All The Day Long

Gently laying on my bed
Pillow nestling weary head
By His hand He wisely led
All the day long

Closing tired eyes to sleep
Falling into night so deep
Knowing He my soul did keep
All the day long

Sun awakens as I rise
Looking to the eastern skies
He will brighten waking eyes
All the day long

Hours are filled with things to do
Giving joy to me and you
He has plans forever new
All the day long

Constantly amazed by grace
Looking for His loving face
Lifting up my voice in praise
All the day long

What a Savior what a King
Walks with me through everything
He deserves the praise I sing
All the day long

Time has swiftly passed away
Night has overtaken day
He has been my Rock and stay
All the day long

When I taste a flavor I think of my Lord
Who gave us the apples and peaches and pears
He also gave me the wonderful sense
To taste all the wonders He made

When I smell a fragrance I praise the Lord
Who gave us the meadows and oceans and flowers
He also gave me the ability
To take in aromas He made

Glorious creator
Wonderful Lord
I give you praise
It’s you I adore
You not only gave me
Beauty so grand
But senses to take in
This wonderful land

When nature cries out I worship my God
Who gave us the bees the frogs and the dogs
He also allowed me to have open ears
To hear the creation He made

When I see a sunset I am overwhelmed
By the one who gave us beauty so grand
I adore Him for the sight of His world
And the universe He paints for me

All of the food that I eat
All of the noises I hear
All of the wonders I see
All of the fragrance so sweet
All from my Lord, all from my Lord

Glorious creator
Wonderful Lord
I give you praise
It’s you I adore
You not only gave me
Beauty so grand
But senses to take in
This wonderful land

I give you praise you are Devine

I give you praise from deep within me

There’s a call to serve the Lord today
This I know is true
The question that awakens me
Is what can this man do

I open my eyes to look around
At a world that needs His love
I’m just one person in a small town
Can I really do enough

The answer is yes
Absolutely yes
He said I could move mountains
And do much greater things
When I reach out in faith
And I pray most earnestly
I can change a life for someone
Yes, yes, yes

I began to see around me
Little needs I could fulfill
From providing a few groceries
To a gas tank that needs filled

An old man need company
On a long ride for his health
So I rode along beside him
And shared the gospel wealth

There are so many ways we can reach out
So many things we can change
If well just take the time to bow down
And fall on our knees in prayer

The most powerful weapon I can yield
Against the enemy
Is a prayer life for others daily
That’s designed to meet their needs

As I pray for the lost and lonely
God will open my eyes to their needs
Then I step out in faith to help them
Change the world why yes indeed

The answer is yes
Absolutely yes
He said I could move mountains

I woke up abruptly the room bathed in light
It seemed that an angel was blinding my sight
Come closer He whispered and called me by name
I come here to bless you don’t be afraid

The Lord sent me to you to grant you one wish
Anything can be yours i will grant your request
I was awed by His splendor his voice was surreal
I thought this a dream but knew it was real

Anything could be mine from riches to fame
More wisdom or power could be mine today
I thought for a moment how my life would change
If any of these things would be mine today

Then I realized what a great life I had
I needed not riches or power or fame
I have a great family who loves me so much
I have lots of friends i am blessed by God’s touch

I looked at the angel the words came quite clear
Please heal my good friend so he’ll live many years
He has aches and pains and his nerves are all shot
He sure needs a touch for he lives God so much

The angel just smiled it is done He replied
You have spoken your wish your friend will arise
Then he left just as fast as he had appeared
But before he did these last words I did hear

Because you have prayed for your friend on this day
There’s a blessing that will soon be coming your way
I smiled as he left knowing he was correct
When we pray for others we always are blessed

What An Awesome God I Serve

I’ve had days when I was weary and days when I was sad
Days when I was healthy and days when I was glad
In all my days I realized one very simple truth
Gods goodness always overwhelmed my trials

Always there to meet my need
I will sing His praise
Worship Him always

I’ve had days when I was sick and days when I was down
Days when I was healthy and days I walked alone
But one truth stood for sure through every single hour
God helped me through each moment by His power

In my weakness He gives strength
In my struggles He gives hope
In my loneliness He comes and talks with me
In my sickness He brings health
In my sorrow He bring joy
In my weariness He restores my seeking soul

Creation Testifies

In all the world around me
I see His loving hand
I know He’s watching over me
He surveys this great land

I love to hear the birds
As they sing their praises high
I love to see the trees
As they lift their branches high

I love to feel the wind
His spirit whisking by
I love to see the stars
So majestic in the sky

All to bring His praises
To lift His name up high
All to bring Him glory
His creation testifies

When I behold this symphony
Of praise to Christ our Lord
I just have to lift my voice
To the one that I adore

The glorious name of Jesus
