With all of my heart
For you are the one that I long for

I brush my teeth three times a day
In hopes that this will curb decay
Cold water’s not the choice I make
I prefer lukewarm

As I lift my hands in praise
I give my all to lift His name
Regarding Christ, I’m hot all day
And never lukewarm

If you’re lukewarm, He’ll spew you out
If you’re lukewarm, you’ll be kept out
So please make sure you spirit’s hot

The Lord Knows

When you’re feeling sick
And you’re stuck in your bed
You pray but the answer is slow
You wonder if God
Has heard your request
I can honestly say the Lord knows

When trouble surrounds you
And you see no way out
You pray but the answer is slow
As the trouble gets worse
You question His love
I am confident that the Lord knows

He knows every pain, every hurt, every stain
He knows every doubt, every tear
He knows every sorrow and every heartache
He knows every doubt, every fear

Hold onto His promise
Don’t ever let go
Because no matter what comes your way
The Lord knows

When doubt settles in
And you cannot feel God
You pray but the answer is slow
Time passes by you
The days and then weeks
You wonder if God really knows

These are the times
When our faith is tested
This trial will help us to grow
We must trust in Him

This time of year
One thing is clear
The grass is not lush
The songbirds are hushed
The leaves are a no
The flowers don’t grow
It’s winter and cold has it’s way

This time of year
One thing  is clear
I have a Savior
Who loves me forever
His mercy is pure
His promises sure
No matter what kind of weather

He Overcame

He overcame sickness
So I could be healed
The stripes on His back paid the price
He overcame sorrow
So I could have joy
His suff’ring would more than suffice

He overcame turmoil
So I could have peace
More peace than the world ever knew
He overcame doubt
So I could have faith
I can trust that His word will be true

By the stripes on His back He is victorious
By the thorns in His brow He is glorious
By the nails in His hands
He became Christ the Lamb
He has overcome for all of us

He overcame fear
So that I could have hope
My eternal home was secured
He overcame hate
And gave me His love
A love that is faithful and sure

He’s laid up a crown for me
Heaven’s my destiny
I’ll soon be with Him up there
But until that day
He’s made a way
For me to have victory

By the stripes on His back He’s victorious

By the nails in His hands
He became Christ the Lamb

All Worked Out

I once had stinking thinking
When my head was screwed on wrong
When I got drunk and high on drugs
I thought good things would come

For several years I wandered far
And messed up my own life
But then one day I thought a sec
And opened up my eyes

I couldn’t help but criticize
The mess I’d made so far
I quickly came to realize
That life was one big scar

So I gave my heart to Jesus
And He healed me inside out
Now I have a joy and peace
My life has all worked out

He is waiting
Waiting here to comfort you
Come to Jesus
He is calling
Calling out to rescue you

If you do not know my Savior
If you have not asked Him in
Now’s the time to pray in earnest
Today’s the day to call to Him

Long ago He died to save you
Took your sin upon that cross
You no longer have to worry
Jesus Christ has paid the cost

Listen close this is important
He is waiting just for you
Ask the Savior for forgiveness
Ask the Lord to rescue you

Tell Him that you need His mercy
Tell Him you will follow Him
Thank Him for His great salvation
When that’s done He will come in

He will bring you peace that calms you
He will bring abundant joy
He will fill your heart with His love
You’ll have hope forevermore

A song of praise will rise within you
Hallelujahs fill the air
Angels will rejoice in heaven
One more soul is saved down here

Then you’ll share it with your neighbor
He will see the change in you
He will want to share this blessing
One more soul will be rescued

Come to Jesus

I Am His Child

I knelt before the Lord today
I bowed my head so I could pray
‘Twas then I heard Him softly say
I love you, son.  You are my child

The words were music to my ears
I closed my eyes and felt my tears
The joy inside my heart was real
I felt His love.  It made me smile

I love you too, Lord.  That you know
I asked you in so long ago
You’ve been with me and helped me grow
I thank you, Lord.  I am your child

My child, you have grown in faith
Now it is time you run the race
Please go tell others of my grace
They need to know my love as well

Yes, Lord.  I will do my part
I’ll go tell them to give their heart
I know you’ve loved them from the start
I’ll testify you love them all

With that I lifted up my praise
To Jesus Christ for His sweet grace
I thanked Him for His love this day
Because I know I am His child
