Glorious Splendor

The rain gently falls
The sound is oh, so sweet
Nurturing the ground
Refreshing the air
Life giving water from above
This blessing falls on the just
And the unjust
As does the warmth of the sun
The calming breeze
The birds sweet lullaby
The brilliance of sunset
And the glorious splendor of the stars
Do you take notice?
Do you give thanks each day
For the blessings of that day?
Even when all is going wrong
God is still sending His blessings
Start to count them
Name them one by one
Count your many blessings
See what God has done.

Sow

Sow.
Sow no matter what
Sow in times of sadness
Sow in times of joy
Sow in times of turmoil
Sow in times of peace
Sow
You may not see
Or hear
Or feel
Or even touch
A harvest
But that does not mean
The harvest does not come
Or will not come
Sowing is never in vain
When we sow into God's kingdom
Sowing is never in vain
When we try to reach the lost
God will honor our efforts
he will touch their hearts
He will bring a harvest
Sow.
Every day
Every opportunity
Every person
Sow

All Of Creation raises The Lord

All of creation praises the Lord
The trees lift their branches in praise
The leaves change to show His beauty
Then they are released to dance with the wind in praise
The wind whistles praises through the night
And causes the wheat to bow in reverence
The sun rises and displays His mighty power
It walks through the day and plays with the clouds in praise to our God
At night, the sun sets in glorious splendor
Showing His handiwork to all who will see
And then yields to the stars
The stars display His majesty at night
The moon smiles in praise to God
The stars twinkle for His glory
They stay in place by Him mighty power
There is no place I can go
No trouble I can have
No sorrow to great
That can not be calmed
By viewing His handiwork
And being still before Him
All of creation praises the Lord

God Never Changes

God never changes.
If there are trouble in your life, God can change them to miracles
If you have doubts, God can change them to faith
If you are sick, God can change you to healed
If you're in sorrow, God can change it to joy
If you're trouble, God can change it to peace
If you're heart hurts, God can change it to comfort
If your lost, God can change you to found
If you're in sin, God can change you to righteous
If your alone, God can change it to oneness with Him
God never changes in His character, but he is ever changing our character - if we let Him.
Allow Him to change you as He sees fit - It's always for the best.

The Fruits of Righteousness

Righteousness,
Imparted only by God,
Through Jesus Christ His Son,
But given to us as a fruit
To be shared with others
To be implanted in others’ lives.
Be filled with the fruits of Righteousness
When we are filled,
We should spread that seed to others
Do you treat others with respect?
Do you do thing that are lovely?
Do you do things that are of good report?
Do you do things that are pure?
Do you do things that are holy?
Do you do things that are true?
Are you spreading righteousness in all you do?
If not, ask for His mercy
And start today

I Long For You

I long to behold Him
To be in His presence
To sense His glory
To have Him smile upon Me
To here His voice.
I long to serve Him
To share His presence with others
To declare His glory
To bring a smile to someone else's face
To introduce someone to Him
I long to worship Him
To dwell in His presence
To bask in His glory
To bring a smile upon His face
To lend Him my voice
I long for His touch
The touch of His presence
The touch of His glory
The touch of His delight in me
The sweet touch of His voice in my ear
I long for Jesus,
My Lord and my Savior
My King and my Comforter
I long for you.

Hold On

Hold on
When the road gets long and hard
Hold on
When their seems to be no hope
Hold on
When the trial seems to large
Hold on
Hold on to Jesus
Hold on
When the task at hand is scary
Hold on
When the night is dark and lonely
Hold on
When your faith is disappearing
Hold on
Hold on to Jesus.
Just hold on
He will help you through this test
He will give you peace and rest
He will help you find your way
To a place where souls are calm
Just hold on
He will come to your rescue
He will make the old things new
There is always hope when Jesus enters in
So hold on.

Reconciled

When I see a father
reconcile with his long lost son
or a son
finally make a move toward his father
It touches me to the core.
Reconciled.
This was my life -
My father left when I was young
I was bitter toward him for decades
But in the end, reached out
Caught hold of his hand again
And love flowed
Reconciled.
He died several years ago
And I was so happy
That I took that step
To be Reconciled
Have you fallen away from your Heavenly Father.
He is just waiting for you to take that step
He is longing to hear from you
He sent His only Son to bear your sin
So that you could be
Reconciled.
Won’t you take that step today?
Accept the sacrifice of Christ on the cross
As your atonement for sin
Accept the life He gives you
Accept Him as Lord of your life
And be reconciled to your Heavenly Father
You will never regret it!

Partakers of His Grace

We are partakers of His grace
Jesus Christ died to extend His grace to us
Grace that forgives sin
Grace that sets the captive free
Grace that heals the sick
Grace that opens blinded eyes
Grace that raises the dead
Grace that makes the lame to walk
Grace that Loves unconditionally

Are we extending that grace to others?
Are we forgiving those who sin against us?
Are we setting captives free by proclaiming victory in their lives?
I we praying for the sick in faith, so that they recover?
Are we opening eyes that are blinded to the truth?
Are we raising up those that are spiritually dead?
Are we helping the young Christians to walk?
Are we showing His love to everyone we meet?
Don’t just be a partaker in His grace - allow others to partake of yours!

He Died There For You

In the midst of my troubles when all seems so lost
I turn my eyes upward to that man on the cross
He suffered in anguish pain ripped His soul
Despised and rejected the scars took their toll

In one last, deep breath "It is finished" He said
And He gave up His life and was taken for dead
"What was finished" you ask as you look on that tree
"Did the death of one man make a difference to me"

The plan of salvation that God had begun
In the beginning had now been won
For Jesus took all of our sin on that cross
He gave up His life at a terrible cost

The perfect lamb slain for all of our sin
So that we might find freedom deep down within
Have you knelt at His cross and accepted this truth?
So precious and gracious - he died there for you.
