In a Flash

One day it’s going to happen

And it’s too far away

Jesus Christ will split the Eastern sky

And all have accepted Him

As Lord of all their lives

Will vanish as from earth they take their flight

Imagine all the chaos

That will happen on that day

When millions will be gone iin just a flash

If you don’t want to stay behind

Ask Jesus to come in

And you will rise with us because you asked

I Love The Name

I love to come into His house
And lift my voice in praise
Raise my hands up high
And lift His holy name

Jesus, name above all names
Jesus, worthy of my praise
Jesus,  let my lips proclaim
I love the name of Jesus

My voice will lift His mighty name
Each day I am alive
Loud Hosannas ring
His spirit testifies

Jesus, He’s the King of Kings
Jesus, He’s the Lord of Lords
Jesus, blessed forevermore
I love the name of Jesus

My hands are raised to heav’n above
I offer Him my life
I want to be with Him
For all the rest of time

Jesus, every knee shall bow
Jesus, sovereign Lord of all
Jesus, reigning over all
I love the name of Jesus

His name can move the mountains
His name can calm the sea
His name can heal our sickness
And wipe out all disease
His name can wash our sins away
His name can set us free
His name can fill our hearts desire
Supply all of our needs

Jesus, gave us His great love
Jesus, His name is enough
Jesus, let my voice lift up
I love the name
The wondrous name
I love the name
of Jesus.

From CA to AC

I used to be running scared all the time

That hell was awaiting me

I’d finally taken a look at myself

And realized I wasn’t free

This spiriitual evaluation

Then brought me to my knees

And I prayed a prayer to Jesus

And asked Him to forgive me

He did for me just as I asked

Then He made a change by decree

He just rearranged a few letters

To make scared into sacred for me

My life now is totally different

It’s a wonder that He set me free

So now I willl live for my Savior

And through Him, how sacred I’ll be!

Forever Mine

Can I praise Him enough
For all He has done
He has given His love
And my vict’ry He won

Can I thank Him enough
For His mercy to me
When I was still rough
He set me free

I will lift up His name
His excellent name
I will lift it up high with my voice
That magnificent name
Is worthy of praise
I will lift up His name and rejoice

Can I cry out enough
Of my love for my Lord
It is Him that I love
It is Christ I adore

Can I praise Him enough
For His marvelous grace
I’ll not stop lifting up
I’ll not stop giving praise

I will lift up His name
His excellent name
I will lift it up high with my voice
That magnificent name
Is worthy of praise
I will lift up His name and rejoice

Jesus, Oh sweet Jesus
Jesus, my Lord and my King
Jesus, wonderful Jesus
You are my everything
Jesus,  matchless name, Jesus
Jesus, my Savior divine
Jesus,  merciful Jesus
You are forever mine.

That Baseball Card is Worth How Much?

Back so many years ago

When i was just a lad

I had a panoply of baseball cards

Today I sometimes weep

When I think of what would be

If I had kept them clean and in safe guard

But now I see my life

And I smile with no regrets

Because I’ve taken Jesus as my Lord

And he has given me

A panoply of blessings

That is much more precious that a million cards

I am the Vine, you are the branches. When you’re joined with me and I with you, the relation intimate and organic, the harvest is sure to be abundant. Separated, you can’t produce a thing. (John 15:5, The Message)

In the U.S., the Thanksgiving holiday is over. Yet my thankfulness exceeds a five-day weekend feast.

I am incredibly thankful for the peace-filled place I am in, joined with Christ who led me into my Father’s embrace. God’s arms are full of unconditional love, extravagant compassion and outrageous grace and mercy.

My mission as a follower of Jesus is

to bring others back to Him. It is central to our good news that God was in Christ making things right between Himself and the world. This means He does not hold their sins against them. But it also means He charges us to proclaim the message that heals and restores…

The King Eternal

He started in a manger filled with hay
At death borrowed tomb is where He lay
He never owned a home
In ministry He roamed
Teaching of the truth, the life, the way.

He was the King who came to die

A minister of light and life

The masses followed Him

He eased their suffering

And told them words that opened up their eyes

He is the King eternal

The everlasting God

The mighty creator

The one who reigns above

His victory is forever

He shed his precious blood

He died for you and me

So we could know His love

The leaders of the day were mad

The words He shared they thought were bad

They sought to take His life

Against Him the conspired

They turned the crowd against Him and were glad

This King was beaten mercilessly

He carried His cross to Calvary

His feet and hands were nailed

The soldiers had prevailed

They crucified Him there upon that tree

The borrowed tomb became His grave

The guards had sealed the tomb and stayed

But death could not hold Him

Over the grave, He wins

Now eternal life is mine always

He is the King eternal

The everlasting God

The mighty creator

The one who reigns above

His victory is forever

He shed his precious blood

He died for you and me

Which Do You Choose?

Some people quote Confucius

Or Plato  or Gandhi

Others look at stars and think

They need astrology

I prefer the words of Jesus

They echo down through time

Not only are they full of truth

They also changed my life

For I was once a sinful  man

Who did a whole lot wrong

But Jesus took my sin away

So now I sing His song

It is amazing how just words

Can make a difference

I pray that my words echo down

And touch my grand children
