Now That I Know

There was a time
When I knew not
What Jesus did for me
I hadn't heard
About His love
Or death on Calvary

I didn't know
His sacrifice
Was given in my place
I hadn't heard
Of His mercy
Or His amazing  grace
But now that I know I'll praise Him
From the dawn 'til setting sun
I'll lift my voice and hands up high
For all that He has done
I'll praise Him for His goodness
I'll praise Him for His love
I'll praise Him for the mansion
He has built for me above
Now that I know
What Jesus did
To set me free from sin
Others must hear
About His love
And all He's done for them

I'll let them know
The price He paid
That He died to set them free
I'll share the word
And testify
The He would die for me
I will worship Him on high
And I will praise His name
I'll tell the world of His great love
I'll tell them how I've changed

And when I get the chance to pray
For someone to be saved
I'll celebrate with the heav’nly host
And lift His name in praise
Oh, glory to the Son of God
Glory to His name
His love has saved us all from sin
I'll lift my voice in praise

Great and Wondrous Love

How can God begin to know a little worm like me
How can God begin to hear the prayers that I speak
How can God begin to plan the future that I seek
When all the universe is Hs domain

How can God begin to bring the healing that I need
How can God begin to cause deliverance in me
How can God begin to send His Spirit to guide me
When all creation cries to Him each day

The answer to these questions
Is found inside His word
It’s really very simple 
But to logic it’s absurd
That the God of all creation
Would care about just one
And hear his every cry
Because of His great love

Yes, it’s His love
His great and wondrous love
That brings Him to do all these things for us
It’s His love
His great and wondrous love
That brought Him down to earth and to a cross

It’s so hard to understand it
But by faith we take His hand
As He carries us through trials
And He shows us His great plan

I’m in awe of His great mercy
I’m so glad for His great grace
I will trust in Him forever
And one day I’ll see Hs face

Yes, it’s His love
His great and wondrous love
That brings Him to do all these things for us
It’s His love
His great and wondrous love
That brought Him down to earth and to a cross

It's hard to find the words to say
How much I love my Lord 
Every day that passes by
I love Him more and more

He's with me everywhere I go
He never leaves my side
I know I can depend on Him 
For in me He abides

He talks to me with loving words
He makes me feel so calm
Whenever I am feeling low
He lifts me in His arms

Wonderful He is to me
Marvelous His ways 
I will praise His mighty name 
Every single day

He comforts me when times are hard
He sends the Spirit in
I can feel His awesome touch
As He dwells deep within

His peace does overwhelm me
Every time I turn around 
There's nothing like the peace of God
To make you safe and sound

His joy is so unspeakable 
Even when times aren't good
I feel it flooding to my soul
Like a rapid running brook

Wonderful He is to me
Marvelous His ways 
I will praise His mighty name 
Every single day

His mercy and His grace come last 
But certainly not least 
They're always there protecting me
From the enemy

And I can so depend on them 
To carry me each day 
I can't imagine life without 
His mercy and His grace

He is waiting 
Waiting here to comfort you

He is calling
Calling out to rescue you

If you do not know my Savior 
If you have not asked Him in
Now's the time to pray in earnest 
Today's the day to call to Him

Long ago He died to save you
Took your sin upon that cross
You no longer have to worry
Jesus Christ has paid the cost 

Listen close this is important 
He is waiting just for you
Ask the Savior for forgiveness 
Ask the Lord to rescue you

Tell Him that you need His mercy
Tell Him you will follow Him
Thank Him for His great salvation 
When that's done He will come in

He will bring you peace that calms you
He will bring abundant joy
He will fill your heart with His love
You'll have hope forevermore 

A song of praise will rise within you
Hallelujahs fill the air
Angels will rejoice in heaven
One more soul is saved down here

Then you'll share it with your neighbor
He will see the change in you
He will want to share this blessing 
One more soul will be rescued 

Come to Jesus
He is waiting

I took your place upon the cross

Then I arose to heaven above

I Am His Child

I knelt before the Lord today
I bowed my head so I could pray
‘Twas then I heard Him softly say
I love you, son.  You are my child

The words were music to my ears
I closed my eyes and felt my tears
The joy inside my heart was real
I felt His love.  It made me smile

I love you too, Lord.  That you know
I asked you in so long ago
You’ve been with me and helped me grow
I thank you, Lord.  I am your child

My child, you have grown in faith
Now it is time you run the race
Please go tell others of my grace
They need to know my love as well

Yes, Lord.  I will do my part
I’ll go tell them to give their heart
I know you’ve loved them from the start
I’ll testify you love them all

With that I lifted up my praise
To Jesus Christ for His sweet grace
I thanked Him for His love this day
Because I know I am His child

You Pull Me Through

I believe in you Lord
I believe in your sovereign grace
There is nothing to hard you cannot do

Every time I have need you pull me through

I’ve had troubles and I’ve had sorrows
You were always there for me
In my deepest darkest hours
I can trust in your love for me

In the times that evil sought me
I just ran into your arms
There you held me ever closely
Kept me safe from fear and harm

I believe in you Lord
I believe you’re my resting place
When I’m tired and alone you’re there for me 
I believe in you Lord
I believe you’re my stronghold
When I’m weak and afraid you’ll comfort me

I’ve had sickness over take me
You have healed me every time
I’ve had days that doubt abounded
Then your Spirit spoke new life

Every time I find myself falling to far
You come and pick me up with your strong arm
Every time I can’t find faith
You come with your sweet grace
And bring me back to shelter with your love

The Matchless Gift

I remember the day He called to me
In a church so far away
His spirit reached out and captured me
As the altar call was played 
But I could not move out of my seat
As I sat with hand up raised 
And we left that night before I prayed
To ask Jesus in my heart 

Later that week the pastor came
To my friend’s house to see me
He asked if I wanted to pray that prayer
And I told him yes sir please 
As I prayed I felt my body chill
And the sweat gushed out if me
I knew that Jesus had come in
And I knew He had touched me

What a wonder
What a Savior 
What a matchless gift He gives
What a privilege 
What a mystery
How He washed away my sin
I will always have that memory 
Of the day He saved my soul 
I have never been the same again
As He made my new life whole 

I returned back home to my job and friends
But a change had just occurred
And I realized I had to change
I went back to my old church
I counseled with the pastor
And I lent my voice to the choir
But the friends I used to hang with
Were still there to lead me sour

Two years went by and I changed a lot
But the old ways wouldn’t go
I went back out to Iowa
I found a love that God had sown
Two months later I moved out that way
And I married that lady fair
Thirty-eight years later we’re serving God
And I know He’s always there

What a wonder
What a Savior 
What a matchless gift He gives
What a privilege 
What a mystery
How He washed away my sin

I will always have that memory 
Of the day He changed my life 
I have never been the same again
Since the day I took my wife
Jesus gave her to me
It’s the best thing He has giv’n
What a wonderful redeemer
He has made this life worth liv’n

What a wonder
What a Savior 
What a matchless gift He gives
What a privilege 
What a mystery
How He washed away my sin
