A Humble Act

I cannot think of Jesus without thinking of His birth

He left His heav’nly home to become a babe on earth

The worship of the angels was replaced by shepherds praise

As they laid Him in a manger filled with hay

What a humble act

The Fathers love displayed

That Christmas day

I cannot think of Jesus without thinking of His life

He healed all those who came and made the dead alive

He taught about the kingdom as He walked from town to town

Authority displayed on earthly ground

What a humble act

The Fathers love relayed

To all who pray

I cannot think of Jesus without thinking if His pain

They beat Him and they whipped Him again and again

A crown of thorns they placed as the blood rushed down His face

Carrying His cross in such disgrace

What a humble act

The Fathers will obeyed

His Son He gave

I cannot think of Jesus without thinking of His death

The nails were through His hands and feet He struggled for His breath

Father please forgive them came His plea before He died

Then He gave His life for you and I

What a humble act

The Fathers grace came down

Became our own

I cannot think of Jesus without thinking that He lives

The stone was rolled away and His body was amiss

He showed Himself to thousands for death had no hold on Him

Victory over death and hell was His

What a triumph song

The Fathers power to save

Up from the grave

I always think of Jesus because He walks with me

Keeping me from harm through every stormy sea

He tells me that He loves me and His grace will cover me

He comforts me with His gentle peace

What a loving Savior

What a faithful friend

Lord of all creation

With me ’til the end

Multiplied

I gave the Lord my sorrow
Everything that hurt
I left it all in Jesus loving hands
He gave me peace to soothe my soul
A thousand times more grace
Now I find rest where trouble used to land

I gave the Lord my weakness
My will would always lose
I yielded up myself to find His way
He said He had a plan for me
A thousand times more grace
Now His strength guides me every single day

Multiplied blessings
Multiplied grace
Multiplied mercy
Multiplied praise
Whatever I give Him
He gives me more
Reversing my sorrow
Releasing His joy

I gave the Lord my passions
They’d fail me every time
I turned my heart completely to love Him
He told of His love for me
A thousand times more grace
My passion now is only found in Him

The more of me I give Him
The more of Him He gives
The more I lose myself
The more His Spirit lives
I cannot out give Him
He gives His all to me
The more I love my Savior
The more like Him I’ll be

Multiplied blessings
Multiplied grace
Multiplied mercy
Multiplied praise
Whatever I give Him
He gives me more
Reversing my sorrow
Releasing His joy

You’ll Find Him Near

I was walking down the street
In Bethlehem one day
There were crowds of people all around
And I found no place to stay
I walked a little further
To find a place to lay
And what did I discover
But a baby in some hay

The mother was so happy
The father was in awe
Then shepherds came and worshiped
And I just sat and thought
Who is this little child
That Shepherds came and saw
I asked them why they came
And their story hit me hard

They said they saw an Angel
And He said they should not fear
That a child had  been born
The Messiah had appeared
And then a band of Angels
They sang  be of good cheer
Go and greet the child
You will find Him really near

When I heard their story
I bowed my head and prayed
If this is the Messiah
I had to change my ways
I knew that He was coming soon
And He will come to save
When I prayed for Him to touch me
He forgave me by His grace

He’s coming back again my  friend
And it could be any day
If you have not accepted Him
Be sure you’re not too late
Ask Him in your heart today
A prayer’s the only way
And He will wash your sins away
Be born again  today

Music to My Ears

When I think about the fact
That He left His royal throne
I can’t help but praise His name
When I think about the fact
In a stable He was born
I can’t help but praise His name
When I think about the star
That led the wise men there
And the great angelic choir
That the shepherds saw in fear
When I think about His love
To become a babe so dear
I can’t help but praise His name

Bless His name. His mighty name
The name of Jesus is so sweet and so fair
Bless His name. The matchless name
The name of Jesus is music to my ears

When I think about the fact
He bore the stripes for me
I can’t help but praise His name
When I think about the fact
That He died to set me free
I can’t help but praise His name
When I think about the pain
That He endured for me
How He gave His life for all
That day at Calvary
When I think about the grace
That He poured out for me
I can’t help but praise His name

Bless His name. His mighty name
The name of Jesus is so sweet and so fair
Bless His name. The matchless name
The name of Jesus is music to my ears

I’ll sing His praise
Every day
With Loudest voice
And hands up-raised
I’ll lift Him high
With all my might
The wondrous name
Of Jesus

Bless His name. His mighty name
The name of Jesus is so sweet and so fair
Bless His name. The matchless name
The name of Jesus is music to my ears

HIStory

The story is told
How a long time ago
The God of creation
Looked down below
And said “Son, it is time Jesus
For you to bestow
Our mercy and grace on mankind ”

So the Son left His throne
To bring freedom to all
He was born of a virgin
And was laid in a stall
Shephard were summoned
To greet Him with awe
On that marvelous,  glorious morn

He walked on this earth
Spreading His love
Teaching the people
The truths from above
But the leaders of men
Had about had enough
They condemned Him to death on a cross

Beaten and bruised
Crown of thorns on His brow
He carried His cross
Through the streets of the town
Galgotha awaited
His love would be known
As His wrists and His feet were nailed

From the cross His blood flowed
Down and out for all time
“Father, forgive them”
He said as He died
His mercy and grace
Were released to mankind
For whoever will call on His name

They laid Him to rest
In a tomb someone gave
And the Romans did guard Him
By night and by day
But they fainted in awe
As the stone rolled away
And Jesus arose from the grave

Oh wonderful Savior
Christ Jesus my Lord
You have freed me from sin
It us you I adore
And you rose so that heaven
Is for me evermore
When I call out to you to be saved

I love you, Jesus
I’ll follow your ways
And I’ll tell your story
All of my days
I’ll pray for my family
And friends to be saved
Your mercy and grace are now mine
Help me share them all of the time
So that others will know
That you came down below
As the Savior for all of mankind

Ponder These Things

Lord of the Heavens

Seated on the right hand of God

Four and twenty elders worshipping

Sing glory and honor and power and might

To the King of Kings and Lord of Lords

Exalted above all others

Since the beginning of time

Glorious and majestic

Full of awe and wonder

All things created by Him

All things created for Him

Beautiful beyond description

More precious than silver or gold

Merciful and gracious

Longsuffering and full of goodness

Worthy of all praise

Son of the most high God

Holy is He

King of heaven and earth

Left His heavenly place

Left the splendor and the glory

Left the right hand of God

Left His Father

Left His power and authority

Left His throne

To come to this earth

Disrobed of His glory

Clothed in rags

A baby in a manger

No honor bestowed Him

No welcome of royalty

But animals in the stable

A star announcing His birth

Brightly shines above the city

Wise men from afar witness the star

They start their journey

Angels announcing His birth to shepherds

Not to kings

Sing glory to God in the Highest

Say the Savior, Christ the Lord, has come

As a babe in as manger

Beckon the shepherds to go and see

They come and tell Mary their tale

And bow before the King of Kings

Little baby in the hay

Mary ponders these things in her heart

We should so ponder these things

His humility

His love

His sacrifice

All for us

All for you

All for me

The Songs of Christmas

Hear the sounds of Christmas
Ringing in the air
Sounds that warm your heart
Meant for all to hear

Jingle Bells are jingling
Everywhere you go
Wishing Merry Christmas
To all who hear them toll

The First Noel has sounded
From choirs bringing cheer
Noel, Noel Born is the King
Is music to our ears

Precious songs of Christmas
Songs if warmth and cheer
Sung with all your heart
Every single year

And then a chorus fills the air
Hark the Herald Angels Sing
Voices of the highest praise
Glory to the newborn King

Oh, little town of Bethlehem
A town we’ve grown to love
Is visited by three wise men
Who saw he star above

Sing the tale of Christmas
With familiar lines
From children to our elders
Enjoying every rhyme

Away in lowly manger
No room was found for them
In hay they laid their baby
And there His tale begins

Silent Night, Holy Night
When Jesus Christ was born
The songs of His appearing
Are songs that bring us joy

Joy to the World
Jesus Christ has come
Born to die for all mankind
Praise the Holy One

Sing the songs of Christmas
Lift your praise above
Sing with all your heart
Songs we know and love

Meek and Mild

She came riding on a donkey
From many towns away
Ready to give birth to her first child
The ride she took was rugged
The trail sometimes was steep
Her journey would go on for many miles

Joseph walked and held the reins
Guiding her along
Wishing he could ease the pain she felt
When they reached their destination
Relief did fill their souls
They sought a room to settle for the night

The innkeeper did all He could
To find for them a room
But a stable was the only place he had
Mary’s child was born that night
In a manger filled with hay
Wrapped in rags the blessed Savior lay

Meek and mild
Mother and child
Filled all prophecy that night
Angels praised
Shepherds gazed
Below the star so bright

Shepherds watching flocks that night
Were summoned by the angels
Go and see the babe in Bethlehem
He us Savior Christ to all
Peace is what He brings
Glory be to God in the highest

As they knelt before Him
They realized their place
As all of history would mark this day
Simple lowly shepherds
Were called to be the ones
They were the first to bow to Him and pray

Not the rich
Not the mighty
Not the ones in power
He calls us in humility
To worship Him this hour

Meek and mild
Mother and child
Filled all prophecy that night
Angels praised
Shepherds gazed
Below the star so bright

You Are Mine

You ask why I allowed sickness
That had you in bed for days
You spent the time praying to heaven
In hopes that I’d take it away

You ask why you went through a trial
When finances were a mess
You spent the time asking provision
In hopes I’d take care of the rest

I allow these because I know you
I know you will call out my name
You’ll depend on my strength
My mercy and grace
I always know you are mine

You ask why so many temptations
Have come across your path
You spent the time asking for mercy
In hopes you’d avoid my wrath

I allow these because I know you
I know you will call out my name
You’ll depend on my strength
My mercy and grace
I always know you are mine

I’ll protect and provide
I’ll stay by your side
I’ll watch over you
When you are mine
Healing
Deliverance
Strength day by day
All will be yours
When you are mine.

I allow these because I know you
I know you will call out my name
You’ll depend on my strength
My mercy and grace
I always know you are mine

The Great Payment

Have you ever thought it strange
That a baby in a manger
Would be the one who came to set men free
And have you ever stopped to think
About the fact that Heaven’s King
Left His throne to come and die for you and me

You may think it’s fable
He was born in lowly stable
But the story has withstood the test of time
And I thought that you should know
Why I’ve come to love Him so
For I want you to know this Lord of Life

You see, He changed my life
When I came to Him that time
That my life was spinning out of control
He forgave all of my sin
And He put His spirit in
Now He walks with me wherever I may go

Because this baby in the manger
Was no ordinary stranger
But the Son of God who came to earth that day
He shared the Father’s love
And brought healing from above
And He said He was the truth the life the way

His teaching brought division
Put the leaders in derision
They decided that He must be put to death
So they shouted crucify Him
On a cross they railed against Him
And He gave His life in one last gasp of breath

The final price was paid
For the sin of human race
And now we are set free forevermore
And it all began that day
In a stable filled with hay
And a baby who the blessed Mary bore.

This Christmas don’t forget
The great payment for our debt
That was made by that baby in the hay
He was born to die for me
And to set the captive free
Let us celebrate His birth this Christmas day
