You Alone

If I had a nickel for every lie I spoke 
Or if I had a penny for all my wasted hopes

I've set my mind on Jesus
As the storm comes raging in

Jesus Came Running

There are times in my life when I am in trouble
Sin creeps on in and draws me away
My strength is gone and I can’t find the answer
That’s when Jesus comes running to me

I often think I’ve got life together
I often think that my answers are fine
But then I find that I’m going in circle
And I’ve lost direction and purpose in life
These are this times that I need a Savior
These are the times that I need a friend’
When it comes down in the heat of the battle
That’s when Jesus comes running to me

He runs to me when my body is sickly
He runs to me when I need Him nearby

Jesus Came A Calling

There was a time that I was wandering deep in sins despair
I had no hope to live for and I really did not care
I’d almost given up on this misery of mine
Then Jesus came a calling and stepped into my life

What a change took place that day when Jesus rescued me
From a sinner who was perishing to a soul that was set free
I looked up to the heavens and raised my hands up high
To give praises to my Savior for His eternal life

Praise the one who came to give His life for mine
Praise the Lord of heaven who came to earth to die
Took on the form of man to face a cruel death
Nailed upon the cross and gave His final breath

All my sin and shame was nailed upon that tree
I give praise to my Savior who bled and died for me
But that was not the end of His mission and His plan
In three days He rose to glory so that I could live again

I will take the life He’s given me and live it for my Lord
I will follow His commandments and read His holy word
Each day I’ll lift my praises to the one that I adore
My resurrected Savior, Jesus Christ my Lord

Something I’ll Always Need

 I’m amazed at His mercy that covers me
 Since the day that He died on Calvary
 He forgave all my sins and set me free
 His mercy is something that I’ll always need
  
 I’m amazed at His grace that blesses me
 One gift to the next to fill every need
 I do not go hungry and have shoes on my feet
 His grace is something that I’ll always need
  
 I’m amazed at His peace that settles my mind
 I know in the difficult times He is kind
 He helps me to see when my own eyes are blind
 He’s peace is something I need in my mind
  
 I’m amazed at His joy that fills up my heart
 In times of great sorrow His joy will not part
 From the dawn to the dusk each moment will start
 With the joy that is something which never departs
  
 I’m amazed at His love that came down to me
 From the time He was born to when he did bleed
 He showed His great love by His death on a tree
 His great love is something that I’ll always need
