My Earnest Expectation

What are you expecting?
What is your hope?
What is your passion?
Is God in every moment of your life
Or is He just a passer-by?
Is He in your thoughts continually
Or just when you have a need?
Is He involved in every decision
Or just the tough ones?
Does God lead, and you follow?
Or Do you lead and ask God to come along?
If you expect great things in your life
If your hope is high for God to move
Let your passion match those desires.
Your passion for God
Your passion for souls
Your passion for truth
Your passion for ministry.
Paul said "It is my earnest expectation and hope"
Are you earnest about your desires?
Do they greet you when you awake,
And sing you to sleep at night?
Draw nigh to God and He will draw nigh to you.
Raise your expectation and hope
And watch God move

Jesus, What a Wonder You Are

He is my solid rock, my fortress in the storm
He keeps me safely in his everlasting arms
He gives me peace so I feel no alarm
He's my Savior, and my friend.

He finds a way when there is no other way
He finds a rainbow in the midst of cloudy days
He knows my path and goes with me all the way
He's my Savior, and my friend

Jesus, what a wonder you are.
Amazing and merciful to me
You brighten up my darkest hour
Jesus, what a wonder you are

He has my future in the palm of His hands
He has for me only good and righteous plans
He will protect me as I travel through this land
He's my Savior, and my friend

He has prepared an eternal place for me
He gives me peace about my destiny
He's will be with me for all eternity

It’s Time

It's time
Time to rejoice
Time to worship
Time to praise the King of Kings

It's time
Time to reach out
Time to pray loud
Time to help someone who needs your help

It's time
Time to listen
Time be still
Time to hear someone else's pain

It's time
Time to live for Christ
To do our part
To love our brothers and sisters

It's time
Time to show the world
Time to show your neighbor
That being a Christian means love
It's time

Everything That Hath Breath

Are you alive?
Is blood flowing through your veins?
Is your heart beating?
Are you breathing?
Then praise the Lord!
That is all that matters
No trial should keep us from praising Him
No test,
No sickness
No injury
No heartache
No setback
No hurt
Nothing should keep us from Praising Him
Not because He blesses me,
Not because He saved me
Not because He delivers me
Not because He heals me
Not because He guides me
But just because He is!
Let everything that hath breath
Praise the Lord!

Do You Hear It

Do you hear it?
Soft,
Gentle,
Calming.
Like a summer breeze
Floating through the air
Unnoticed by most.
Do you hear it?
Below the din of life
In a quiet place
Secluded,
Restful
Peaceful,
Like a nap
On a spring day
Not practiced by most.
Do you hear it?
Whispering to you
Only to you
Words of encouragement
Words of hope
Words of life.
Do you hear the voice of God?
He calls you unceasingly
Closer to Him,
Closer to His will
Closer to His plan.
Take time to listen.

Marvelous Things

I will lift my voice to the Lord
I will sing His praise to the nations
For He has done marvelous things
Too wonderful for me

He has redeemed me
Paid the price for my sin
Suffered and died for my wayward ways
Bought me with His precious blood
Because I was steeped in sin
The world had a hold on me and He set me free
I no longer owe a debt to God
Because he Son ha paid my ransom

He has restored me
Restored me into fellowship with the Father
Restored me to a right relationship with Him
He has made me new
The old me is dead and gone
The new me is growing day by day
Restoring righteousness and holiness into my life

He has delivered me
Delivered me from th3e devils grip
Delivered me from my own licentious ways
I am no longer bound by sin
The chains are broken
My captivity is over
He has attained my freedom

He has blessed me
Over and over, His blessings have come
My garden has brought forth much fruit
More than ever before
My children are closer than ever
My family surrounds me with love
My possessions have increased, but the do not hold me
His blessing is on my mind and heart day and night
I am blessed with a loving wife

I thank Him for His mercy and grace
They are too wonderful for me to describe
He overlooks my fault and love me
He takes my hand and walks with me
He speaks to me in the still of the night
He hears my every prayer
He is always near
This is His grace.
This is His mercy

I love the Lord
His name is Jesus
He has done marvelous things for me

I Can’t Wait to Get to Heaven

I can't wait to get to heaven where I'll see His face
No more pain and no more sorrow in that holy place
I will realize I got there only by His grace
I can't wait to get to heaven

I can't wait to get to heaven, walk on streets of Gold
I will be with Him forever. I will not grow old
Praising Him with all the angels gathered round His throne
I can’t wait to get to heaven

Singing hallelujah to the Kind of Kings
Singing hallelujah to the Lamb
Singing hallelujah to the Lord of Lords
Jesus is the great I AM

I can’t wait to get to heaven, worship at his feet
Sin and death are gone forever, He gives victory
I will reign with Him in reverence for He ransomed me
I can’t wait to get to heaven

I can't wait to get to heaven, won't you come with me
Asking Jesus to forgive you, make Him Lord and King
You will be with us forever in eternity
I can’t wait to get to heaven

Singing hallelujah to the Kind of Kings

Jesus is the great I AM

There’s a hole in my heart and I’m trying hard to fill it
With the things of this world but it’s never quite enough
There’s a voice in my ear and I’m trying hard to hear it
But the noise of this world is so loud I can’t make it out

Could it be that God is trying to reach me?
Could it be that He really cares for me?
Could it be the time for me to give in?
Could this be the day he set’s me free?

There’s a place in my soul that is longing just to know you
