As gentle as a Lamb
To the slaughter He was led
He did not say a word
As the blood flowed from His head

The cruelty they showed Him
He took with tender grace
The agony He suffered
He endured to take my place

I deserved the cross yet He took it all for me
I deserved the stripes that He took to set me free
I deserved the nails that pierced His feet and hands
I deserved the cross that Jesus bore for me

With the power of a lion
He rose up from the dead
Victory was in His hand
A crown upon His head

Not the crown of thorns they gave Him
But a royal crown of gold
Now He rules all of heaven
All of earth and all below

Some days I find myself lost for words to praise the Lord
There is so much He has done for me that I feel I have ignored
Each time I turn around another blessing has come down
Another trial has been avoided, another battle has been won

I read in His great word that I must acknowledge Him
In everything that comes my way I know His plan will win
The fathers bless the children, and the children bless their own
It’s time that I started blessing the King that’s on the throne

I’d been set there by my friends for many years
Laying on the steps so I could beg for alms
My legs just would not work the way they should
So, I asked people to give and they would

Two men came by, and I ask them for a bit
They said they had no money, but they’d give
All they had was just the mention of a name
Then they spoke Jesus, and they touched me with their hand

They lifted me to my feet
My legs received new strength
I had never walked before
I rejoiced and wanted more

I went leaping, and shouting and praising God
Leaping and shouting and praising God.
All the people were amazed
By the power in that name
As I leapt and shouted praises to the Lord

Today it’s not the money that you have
Or the wealth and things that life has brought to you
All you need is just to speak that precious name
He will touch you and you’ll never be the same

The name of Jesus will raise you

The name of Jesus will deliver you from sin
‘The name of Jesus will bring joy

The name of Jesus will cause you to rejoice

When I taste a flavor I think of my Lord
Who gave us the apples and peaches and pears
He also gave me the wonderful sense
To taste all the wonders He made

When I smell a fragrance I praise the Lord
Who gave us the meadows and oceans and flowers
He also gave me the ability
To take in aromas He made

Glorious creator
Wonderful Lord
I give you praise
It’s you I adore
You not only gave me
Beauty so grand
But senses to take in
This wonderful land

When nature cries out I worship my God
Who gave us the bees the frogs and the dogs
He also allowed me to have open ears
To hear the creation He made

When I see a sunset I am overwhelmed

I adore Him for the sight of His world
And the universe He paints for me

All of the food that I eat

All of the wonders I see

There's a call to serve the Lord today 
This I know is true 
The question that awakens me
Is what can this man do

I open my eyes to look around
At a world that needs His love 
I’m just one person in a small town 
Can I really do enough 

The answer is yes

He said I could move mountains 
And do much greater things 
When I reach out in faith
And I pray most earnestly 
I can change a life for someone

I began to see around me
Little needs I could fulfill 
From providing a few groceries
To a gas tank that needs filled 

An old man need company
On a long ride for his health 
So I rode along beside him
And shared the gospel wealth

There are so many ways we can reach out
So many things we can change 
If well just take the time to bow down
And fall on our knees in prayer

The most powerful weapon I can yield
Against the enemy
Is a prayer life for others daily
That's designed to meet their needs

As I pray for the lost and lonely 
God will open my eyes to their needs
Then I step out in faith to help them
Change the world why yes indeed

Creation Testifies

I see His loving hand
I know He’s watching over me
He surveys this great land

I love to hear the birds

His spirit whisking by

So majestic in the sky

Plans

I often come up with wonderful plans
Of when I should go and when I should stand
But most of the time those plans are in place
I find myself falling flat on my face

I'm not very good at thinking real clear
The words that I say are not what they hear
My plan makes me say thing I should not
They cause those around me to grow rather hot 

I cry to the Lord please help me to speak
It's your words I want and your plan I seek
Whenever I revert to ways of my own
I find that I'm closer to being disowned 

Your gentle sweet voice echoes soft in my ear
I quiet way down so you I can hear
You tell me to stop and follow your ways 
Things will be better in upcoming days

I hope that I will learn something from this
That is my prayer and that is my wish
To follow His plan every day of my life 
I will not get lost and peace will be mine 

If you find you are wand’ring through life on your own
And the snares are around you outside or at home 
Listen to Jesus and follow His plan
He'll firmly guide you with His gentle hand

No pardon for me the devil would win
I'd flounder through life and wish for retrieve 
Then in the end hell my soul would receive

If not for the Lord no joy would be mine
My laughter would be empty echoes through time
Sorrow below in my merriest rhymes
I'd wind up with smiles my face would tell lies

I'd pay the price now an eternal cost
No future would hold anything prosperous 
I'd flounder through life in a whirlwind of loss

I'd think I was calm but I'd tremble inside 
When it seemed things were right only fear would reside 
Only terror would fill up the thoughts of my mind
