Watching Over Me

When I am feeling lonely and afraid
When doubt has started creeping through my life
When obstacles distract me
When thoughts and fears attack me
Whenever I can’t seem to sort things out

There’s a calm assurance that comes over me
A peace that passes everything I feel
It slowly overtakes me
The soothing balm awakes me
I sense your holy presence and remember

You are there in heaven
Watching over me
Keeping me protected from all harm
I can trust in you Lord
Even when I fall
You are there to pick me up again
And set me on my way

When I get weighed down by cares of life
When everything I do just comes out wrong
When just the dark surrounds me
When sorrows overwhelm me
Whenever I don’t see a clear way out

There’s a joy that starts to bubble from inside
A joy that doesn’t come from what I feel
It slowly overwhelms me
My heart can then assure me
That even in this place I must remember

You are there in heaven
Watching over me

I can trust in you Lord
Even when I fall
You are there to pick me up again
And set me on my way

In my darkest hours you are right beside me
In my hardest days you never leave my side
In my weakest moments I place my trust in you Lord
You wont let me fall
You won’t let me fail

He Calls To Me

There’s a voice that calls out to me when I’m afraid
He says don’t you worry, I heard you pray
I will be with you to carry you through
Every trial you face

Times can get lonely here on this earth
Often times I just don’t feel I’m much worth
It is then that His voice whispers soft in my ear
I gave up my Son for you

When I am down
When I’m left out
When I am weakest
I give a shout
A grand shout of praise
To my Lord up above
I know He’ll hear me
And show me His love

The days of my journey often bring tests
Somedays I feel like I hardly get rest
If I listen closely I’ll hear His voice
Come unto me, my child

He’ll hold me up in His wonderful arms
Tell me He loves me as He brings a calm
He’ll carry me through those difficult days
When I abide in Him

He loves me
He cares for me
He is my Lord
He holds me
He speaks to me
Him I adore

When I am down
When I’m left out
When I am weakest

Trusting Jesus

When my joy turns into sorrow
Under burdens that arise
Days of worry come upon me
As a tear forms in my eye
Sadness could come overwhelm me
If I let these thoughts go on
But I’ve learned to seek my Savior
When my troubles are prolonged

When my peace has been disrupted
Turmoil starts to swirl around
My mind wanders out of wanting
To find rest from troub’ling sounds
Doubt could eas’ly overtake me
If I let these thoughts go on
But I’ve learned to trust my Savior
He will keep me from all harm

Trusting Jesus in my trials
Trusting Jesus in my doubts
Trusting Jesus when I worry
He will turn my life about
When the hard times come upon me
There’s no reason to get down
I have learned to trust in Jesus
Jesus makes my life abound

When I start to doubt His wisdom
My life seems to be off track
I can’t seem to find the answer
To the questions that I ask
Storms of life are gathered ‘round me
Whirlwinds howling in my ear
I have learned to trust in Jesus
In the midst of all my fears

Trusting Jesus in the thunder
Trusting Jesus in the rain
Trusting Jesus when I cannot find
My way back home again
He is always watching over me
He is always by my side
I can rest with calm assurance
When in Jesus I abide

I will trust Him

I will trust the Lord
Even in the darkest storm
I’ll stand upon His word
I will trust Him

Each and every day
I will give my life to Him
I will trust the Lord

Greatness out of this Great Mess

Riddled with cancer
Shoulder just quits
Neuropathy covers my feet
Two stem cell transplants
Weakness ensues
God will make some greatness out of this great mess

Jesus the master healer
He supplies all the strength that I need
I fill all my days
With words of His praise
As His healing starts working in me

First I walked with a walker
A cane followed closely behind
I walked just a block at a time
But my drive just kept up
With my faith in my Lord
Now a mile a day isn’t long

My shoulder would not move at all
The doctors could not understand
They said maybe never would heal
Movement came in ten months
Therapy started at once
Now full range of motion is here

Jesus the master healer
He supplies all the strength that I need
I fill all my days
With words of His praise
As His healing starts working in me

God will make some greatness
Out of this great mess
Cancer is no longer found
I’m healed from above
With doctors involved
In the therapy of Jesus love

Our Guide in the Night

There’s a light at the end of the tunnel
It shines like a star far away
As I walk through this valley of sickness
The light helps me find my way

I know He has promised me healing
That the stripes on His back paid the price
I am waiting to see
That healing in me
As I walk through the trial of this life

Glory to God in the Highest
Who gave us His son Jesus Christ
I will lift up that name
That wonderful name
He’s the Light that guides in the night

We all have a tunnel to go through
At some moment in each of our lives
His promise is that He’ll be with us
Through the low times as well as the highs

He said He will leave His peace with us
He gave us abundant joy
In the midst of the storm
I won’t be alarmed
I know Jesus is right by my side

I’m enjoying my life on this journey
With a peace in the depth of my soul
For I know that my Savior is with me
Everywhere I go

When the trials of life overtake me
I can still keep His joy in my heart
For I know that the spirit will guide me
Everywhere I go

What a wonderful Savior, a glorious Lord
That would take of His time to be with me
Oh What grace He bestows and His mercy abounds
Every day that I’m on this journey

When I come to the end of my journey
I’m assured that I’ll be close to Him
For I know that He’ll travel beside me
Everywhere I go

When I walk with Him
All my troubles seem small
All my burdens are light
All my worries will fall
There’s a peace that endures
And a joy that’s sublime
So wherever I go
He walks right beside

That would take of His time to be with me

I’ve had days when I was weary and days when I was sad
Days when I was healthy and days when I was glad
In all my days I realized one very simple truth
Gods goodness always overwhelmed my trials

What an awesome God I serve
Always there to meet my need
I will sing His praise
Worship Him always

I’ve had days when I was sick and days when I was down
Days when I was healthy and days I walked alone
But one truth stood for sure through every single hour
God helped me through each moment by His power

In my weakness He gives strength
In my struggles He gives hope
In my loneliness He comes and talks with me
In my sickness He brings health
In my sorrow He bring joy

The Plan

I can assure you
That God has a plan for you
Which will be better than yours
I know for certain
That His way is destined
To wipe away all of your tears

When you give in
And respond to His calling
He’ll guide you each step of the way
And when it gets hard
He’ll send in His mercy
To make your life better each day

Just like a watchmaker He has a plan
It has been designed just for you
He knows He design
He knows when it’s time
To work out His plan in you

When you seem to be broke
And you’re wondering why
Just put them in His loving hands
Don’t worry or fret
He knows what to do
To put you together again

A watchmaker knows how to fix His designs
He knows all the parts and their place
The watch’s design is no puzzle to him
His knows all about every piece

God’s your designer and He knows your life
He knows what the future will bring
Your trials are never a problem for Him
He knows how to lead you through things

Just like a watchmaker He has a plan
It has been designed just for you
He knows He design
He knows when it’s time
To work out His plan in you

In The Midst

I’m tired of being tired
I’m sick of being sick
I’ll lift the name of Jesus in a song
But while I sit here waiting
For good health to return
I’ll lift the name of Jesus in a song

You wonder why I praise Him
When things are not so right
When He allowed this sickness in my life
The answer is so simple
It’s not hard to understand
When you think of all He’s done for me through time

He has loved me
He has saved me
He has healed me
He will raise me
He removed my sin and promised me new life
He delivered me
He’s been merciful to me
I will praise Him every day of my life

Now even when I suffer
When my life seems out of place
I do not forget what he has done for me
In the midst of any trial
I can raise my voice and sing
Hallelujah to my soon and coming King

His promises are true
His love is everlasting
His grace will cover all my foolishness
His mercy never fails me
His peace is inn my heart
His joy unspeakable flows endlessly

He has loved me
He has saved me
He has healed me
He will raise me
He removed my sin and promised me new life
He delivered me
He’s been merciful to me
I will praise Him every day of my life
