Praise to God

You are my King. You are my Lord
You are my Savior forevermore
You are my shield. You are my sword
you are my anchor in the storm
All of my hope is in you
All of my life I give to you
Praise, Praise to God
You are worthy of all my praise
Praise, Praise to God
I will worship you
And lift your name on high
You are my rock, My mighty tower
You are my fortress filled with power
You are my faith. my hope and love
You are the one I’ll always love
All of my hope is in you
All of my life I give to you.
Praise, Praise to God
You are worthy of all my praise
Praise, Praise to God
I will worship you
And lift your name on high
You give me life, you give me hope
You give me breath to keep me strong
You are my light, my righteousness
You are the one, you are the best!
Praise, Praise to God
You are worthy of all my praise
Praise, Praise to God
I will worship you
And lift your name on high

Hallelujah, He’s Alive

A knock at the door
Who could it be?
This early morning
As we hid in fear
A voice cries out
It’s Mary, frantic
The tomb is open
He is not there!
He met me in the garden
He has risen indeed
Just as He said
He will come to you!
We run quickly to see
Inside, just a towel
Wrapped and neatly folded
No sign of Jesus.
Who rolled the stone away?
Who got past the guards?
What did they do with His body?
How can this be?
We returned to the house
More devastated then before
How can this be?
is He really risen?
Then he appeared
Shining and alive
Scars in His hands and feet
No doubt it was Jesus
We bowed and worshiped
He said I have risen
Just as I said
And now I will be with you always
Hallelujah – He has Risen
Hallelujah – He’s alive
Hallelujah – He is with us
He’ll never leave my side
Hallelujah – I’m forgiven
Hallelujah – I’m set free
Hallelujah – Christ is risen
And sent His Spirit to me

What Now?

Thursday night was great
As we sat down for a meal
Shared laughter and stories
Enjoyed one another’s company.
Then He broke the bread
As he mildly said
This is my body – take and eat
And he took the cup
And said drink it up
This is my blood shed for you
How can this be?
What does it mean?
A new covenant He brings?
Then we left the room to go and pray
A place where we went day to day
In the darkness of night we walked
And talked of higher purpose
And of love and devotion.
At the garden he prayed
But we could not stay awake
Three times He begged us to pray.
Then soldiers came with torches
They took Him away violently
They pushed us aside like flies
We were stunned, hurt, and confused.
Quickly they judged Him guilty
Quickly they cried Crucify Him
Quickly they beat Him, scarred Him, bruised Him
They made Him carry His cross – such a heavy burden
They nailed Him to it
He cried out, the sky darkened
And then He died.
Gone.
Gone.
What now?
What do I do now?
Where do I go?
What can I say?
In 18 short hours my life is all changed.
What good can come from this?

All For His Glory

The mountains bow down
The seas wave
The trees lift their arms
All for His glory

The birds sing their song
The lion roars
The ants build their kingdoms
All for His glory

The sun rises majestically
The moon reflects the light
The stars shine brightly in the dark
All for His glory

All of creation shows His handiwork
All creatures sing His praises
All that have breath praise Him
All for His glory

So should I
I should sing His praises
I should do His will
I should tell others of His love
All for His glory

Declare His mighty works
Tell of His excellent love to us
Shout out in worship to His name
All for His glory

This is what I was designed to do
This is why He made me in my mother’s womb
This is why he gave me breath
To give Him glory
So glorify His name
Shout it from the housetops
Display His wonderful love to others
That they also may know
His glory!

More Than Worthy

He is worthy of our praise
He is worthy of our wonder
He is worthy of our reverence
He is worthy of all honor
For He, the Lord, has set us free
He has pulled us up out of the miry clay
And set our feet on the rock to stay
He has opened our blinded eyes
So that we may see the light
The Lord is great, and awesome in all His ways
He causes me to be at peace in His arms
And He lifts me up when I am down
He places His spirit within me
To guide me and teach me His ways
He gives me wings as an eagle
To soar above the trials of life
He opens my heart to hear
His wonderful words of life
He is an awesome, most Holy God
I will lift His name on high
I will declare His goodness to all I meet
I will give glory to Him wherever I go
For He is worthy, more than worth

Come and Draw Near

Hail to the King who came yesterday
Humble and meek laid in the hay
Worshiped by wise men, Shepherds kept guard
Led their by Angels and a bright morning star

Hail to the King who came down from His throne
To be born in a manger. To be born all alone
The world did not notice. The world did not care
That the Lord of all Lords was suddenly there

Hail to the King, He was born to die
For my sins and yours God in flesh, now alive
He would walk among men. He would tell them of love
He would show them the way of the Father above
Then they'd beat him and mock him and send him to death
Yet He would forgive them until His last breath

Hail to the King. Our salvation is here
Don't get left behind, come and draw near
He cries out to know you. He knocks at the door
Won't you open your heart so His love can be yours?

Rocks Will Sing

Lift your voices, shout your praise
It is Jesus name we raise
Blessed Hosannas, hail the King
As we lift our praise to Him

Enter in, please enter in
To the presence of the King
Worship Him, oh worship Him
Loud hosannas shout and sing

Worthy, worthy is His name
Blessed Jesus, humble Lamb
Sent to save the world from sin
Won't you let Him enter in?

Lift your praise or rocks will sing
Loud hosannas to the King
Shout out loud with joyous dance
He is stretching out His hands

Lift your voices, shout your praise
It is Jesus name we raise
Blessed Hosannas, hail the King
As we lift our praise to Him
