 It’s Christmas Eve
 The day before
 We celebrate
 The newborn Lord
  
 I hope all is well
 With you today
 Have you asked Him
 Your life to save
  
 When Jesus came
 That fateful night
 That baby boy
 Brought with Him light
  
 A light that shines
 In all our hearts
 To bring the life
 His love imparts
  
 A life that’s filled
 With heavens peace
 Enduring hope
 Joys never cease
  
 His promise came
 When He was born
 Salvation brought
 That Christmas morn
  
 My prayer this day
 For all of you
 Is season filled
 With life that’s full
  
 That you will find
 Salvation’s way
 On this December
 Christmas Day

My Christmas Gift

 I searched for a gift this Christmas
 A gift I could give to all
 It would have to be inexpensive
 And hopefully rather small
  
 I shopped on the net for days
 And nothing seemed quite right
 So I went to some stores in the city
 And I looked for several nights
  
 But the perfect gift was elusive
 Nothing I saw seemed to fit
 I started to think it was hopeless
 But then found the perfect gift
  
 It was free to any who wanted
 It was small, so I’d keep it in hand
 It was easy to give out to others
 I decided that this fit the plan
  
 This gift didn’t need to be wrapped up
 And it wasn’t some cute little toy
 All I had to do was give it
 The recipient would have much joy
  
 I’m giving Jesus this Christmas
 I’m telling my friends of His love
 I’m sharing with them His salvation
 And His mercy that rains from above
  
 I’ll share with them the Christmas story
 And the Easter story as well
 They will hear how much He loves them
 They’ll be touched by the story I tell
  
 This gift will last them a lifetime
 And they’ll live for eternity
 Safe in the arms of the Savior
 Forever they will be free
  
 This Christmas give all a present
 That will last for the rest of time
 Give everyone Jesus
 And give them the gift of life.

Jesus, Lord of all creation
Master of all peoples
Seated on the throne of heaven
Jesus, Savior of all sinners
Delivers us from evil
Praise and honor to your name

Victory by Death

He was beaten, bruised and torn
His body tired and worn
Yet he did not speak a word in His defense
A crown of thorns upon His head
His forehead slowly bled
Then pain and agony was quite intense

Then they placed a robe upon Him
With a scepter in His hands
The guard knelt down and mocked Him as a King
Little did they know their words
Were true through all of time
Because He was indeed the King of Kings

The cross was laid upon His back
He fell beneath its weight
His weak and bloody body just gave out
They led Him to Golgotha
They nailed Him to the cross
Forgive them was His final living shout

They thought they had the victory
But soon they would find out
That what they did would touch all of mankind
Three days He laid a dead man
But then He rose again
The victory over life and death complete

He brought us victory that day
He showed us His amazing grace
By dying and then rising up again
Now we should live for Him
His Word deep down within
For soon He will be coming back again

All of it Comes From You

All of the joy in my heart
All of the friends I adore
All of it comes from you

All of the day to day peace
All of the blessings untold
All of the wisdom revealed
All of it comes from you

So on this Thanksgiving Day I give you thanks
Thanks for all you have done
My life is full and complete
Only because I have you

All of my plans and rewards
All of the things that I own
All of the breath in my lungs
All of it comes from you

Jesus, sweet Jesus
Savior redeemer and friend
I can’t imagine where I would be
If you had not first loved me

So on this Thanksgiving Day I give you thanks
Thanks for all you have done
My life is full and complete
Only because I have you

Jesus Came

Jesus came
to be born in a manger
teach of the kingdom
suffer for sinners
die for our freedom
rise for our new life

Jesus came
to fulfill all the prophets
to declare new beginnings
to show us the Father
and be our example
so we’d testify

Jesus comes
to walk with us daily
to guide by His Spirit
to whisper our comfort
and carry our sorrows
so we will know peace

Jesus comes
wherever we are
whenever we need Him
for whatever reason
His voice whispers gently
You are mine

Fear to Hope

I had nowhere to run to
Nowhere to turn
I had long ago given up hope
My life was so empty
My mind so corrupt
I feared I had lost my soul

Then I heard about Jesus
Who so long ago
Bled and died so that I could be free
I cried out to Him
With a loud voice
Then He came and rescued me

What a marvelous thing it is to know
The one who can save a tortured soul
If you call to Him
His peace will come in
And turn every fear to hope

Now I tell everyone
Of His undying love
For He’s turned my whole life around
If you’re in despair
The solution is near
He’ll set your feet in solid ground
