You Took My Place

He is worthy, Oh so worthy

He is worthy of my praise

I will lift my voice to worship

I will magnify His name



God of Glory, Lord of Heaven

Sent your son to die for me

On that cross He paid the ransom

So that I could be redeemed



Son of God, you left your glory

Came to suffer for my sin

Lived a life to show me mercy

Taught me love and peace within



He is worthy, Oh so worthy

He is worthy of my praise

I will lift my voice to worship

I will magnify His name



For even though they mocked and beat you

Even though they pierced your side

Still you cried out God forgive them

Then you hung your head and died



Let me live a life of mercy

Always showing truth and grace

For on that cross you set the standard

On that cross, you took my place



He is worthy, Oh so worthy

He is worthy of my praise

I will lift my voice to worship

I will magnify His name

This Day

The sun comes up. The day begins

I lift my hands in praise to Him

No tongue can tell. No eye can see

What this new day will bring to me.



It could be clouds, it could be sun

I'll shout my praise whatever comes

It could be pain or hours of woe

But that won't stop His mercy flow

Because I know he loves me so



This day He loves me. This day He'll carry me

This day He'll give me peace. This day He's mine

This day His mercy shows. This day His grace still grows

This day my path He knows. This day. This day.



if I should cry beneath the load

He'll comfort me with joy untold

If should fear what trial may come

He'll calm my fear and give me song



There is no burden He can't lift

This day is His amazing gift

Whatever comes, He'll see me through

His grace will show me what to do



This day He loves me. This day He'll carry me

This day He'll give me peace. This day He's mine

This day His mercy shows. This day His grace still grows

This day my path He knows. This day. This day.



So I will shout my praise and lift my song

To the King of Kings and Lord of Lords

My Savior, my Emmanuel

Jesus Christ my risen Lord

I know He loves me so.

Just Wait on the Lord

And the waves seem to large

Just wait on the Lord

And He will rescue you



When the mountain looms before you

And the walk seems to steep

Just wait on the Lord

And He will carry you



When the valley is deep

And the river seems wide

just wait on the Lord

And He will part the waters



When your health seems to fail

And sickness sets in on you

Just wait on the Lord

And He will heal you



When your money runs out

And you can't meet your bills

Just wait on the Lord

And he will supply.



You see there is nothing God cannot do

If we will just wait on Him.

No wave to high

No mountain too bog

No valley to deep

No sickness to hard

No need to large

That He won't see you through

Just wait, I say wait on the Lord

Who brings the sunrise with all its brilliant hues?

Who gives the birds voice to sing their lovely tunes?

Who brings the mist that leaves the morning dew?

None but you, Lord. None but you.



Who brings a gentle breeze to clear the air and sky?

Who brings the clouds that gently float on by?

Who opens flowers up and asks the bees to fly?

none but you, Lord. None but you



You're the one who made this land to glorify your name

And all creation joins in song to lift you up in praise

The heavens shout your majesty and creatures sing their song

As long as I have breath, I will sing along.



Who puts the stars in place, a twinkle in their eye?.

Who shapes the moon a little different every night?

Who watches over me when darkness blinds my sight?

None but you, Lord. None but you.



You're the one who heals me when things just don't go right

You're the one who comforts me when no hope is in sight.

You're the one who gives me strength when mine has taken flight

You're the only one I need



You're the one who made this land to glorify your name

When I am weary and worn, God shows up

When I am hurting and tired, God shows up

When I seem to have lost my way, God shows up

When I can't seem to bow and pray, God shows up

When I least expect it, God shows up

To help me on my way



He never leaves me without hope

He guides me every day.

His strength becomes what carries me

Through all the storms and tests

I know that when He's by my side

My life can be at rest



When life gets hard, and fear is near, God shows up

When I can’t seem to get in gear, God shows up.

When clouds are all that fills the sky, God shows up

When all I do is wonder why, God shows up

When I least expect it, God shows up

To help me on my way



He never leaves me without hope

He guides me every day.

His strength becomes what carries me

Through all the storms and tests

I know that when He's by my side

My life can be at rest



He's there to hear my every cry

And answer every prayer

So when I seem to drift and sway

He's only a breath away



When I'm at peace, and life seems good, God shows up

When I am on the mountaintop, God shows up

When praise is all my lips will shout, God shows up

When He s all I think about, God shows up

So now I know that every moment,

Every single day

No matter what this world may throw

God will show up

And I will rest in knowing

That all things are for my good

Because he is always right there by me

Waiting to show up!

This Is my Plea

I am not able to stand without your mercy.  

I am not able to walk without your grace

I cannot see beyond the dawn of each new day.  

Without you as my guide and my strength



I am not strong enough to face the challenge

I am not brave enough to fight the fight

I cannot understand the trials that come my way

Without your mercy and your grace



This is my prayer. This is my plea

I come before you down on my knees

Waiting and watching, hoping you'll see

How much I need you.

I cannot see the end of this trial

I do not know how it all will turn out

I can only trust in you, my God

To walk me through this fight

Hungry for your Word

Hungry for your Spirit

Hungry for a touch from you

Hungry for the bread of life

Hungry.



So I wait on you Lord

Patiently I wait

Determined I wait

Expecting I wait

I wait on you.



I am thirsty.

Thirsty for that living water

Thirsty for the latter rain

Thirsty for the water turned to wine

Thirsty for your mercy

I am thirsty.



So I wait on you Lord

Patiently I wait

Determined I wait

Expecting I wait

I wait on you.



I know you will hear

I know you will answer

I know your answer will be good

Even if it's not the answer I desire

I know you seek only my good



I love you, Lord.  

I praise you, Lord.

 I honor you, Lord 

I adore you, Lord

I wait on you.

This day and every day

You are worthy of my praise



When I open my eyes 

And arise from my sleep

You are worthy of my praise

When I prepare for the day

And take my morning meal

You are worthy of my praise



When I arrive at work

And begin my daily tasks

You are worthy of my praise



When I stop for my lunch

From the bounty you provide

You are worthy of my praise



As i continue through the day

And finish my days work

You are worthy of my praise



As i sit down at home

And rest from a long day

You are worthy of my praise



As I lay my head to rest

And close my eyes in sleep\

You are worthy of my praise

.

It matters not if the sun is shining

It matters now if t's dry or wet

It matters not if I'm healthy or sick

It matters not if I'm rich or poor

It matters not what the day brings to me

It matters not what others my do or say

You are always and forever

Worthy of my praise.
