Where would I be if it were not for you, Lord
Taking my sins away
Life would be such w waste if I had not called out
For you to save me that day

I was drowning in sorrow and doubt filled my mind
My future was filled with despair
I know that I would have been dead by now
If you had not heard my prayer

Because on that day I finally saw
The mess I had made of my life
I had heard that If I would just cry out to you
You would steer my course right

It took all I had to search deep within
The sight of my soul was so bleak
I knew that I needed a miracle touch
Your cleansing I started to seek

I prayed on that day for you to some in
And forgive all of my sins
You not only did that but gave even more
As your grace filled my heart within

Now I can truly say you are my Lord
My Savior, my God and my friend
I’ll follow your path and welcome your plan
Until my very end

His Perfect Plan

I was tired and worn out
I faced the world with doubt
I didn’t know what was in store for me
I looked up to the sky
And my soul began to cry
God why have you allowed these trials for me

Then I heard His gentle voice
He said son you have a choice
The way you choose determines how you’ll do
You can face them with your doubt
Or you can lift your voice and shout
From the joy you feel that I am here with you

In the middle of the test
I will never rest
I will always walk beside you through the fire
So just trust me do not doubt
For I will bring you out
This trial has a purpose in your life

I listened to His words
And knew life could be worse
So I rose up from my feeling of despair
With God close by my side
I decided to abide
With Him until this trial disappeared

He will bring His perfect will
As He does I will be still
And see His plan begin to come about
For He will walk beside me
His Spirit is within me
There’s nothing that can stop His endless love

 

His Plan Is For Me

Why should I worry
Why should I fret
When I know God is in control
There is no trial
Or test in this world
That God cannot save me from

Why would I falter
Why would I fear
When the enemy comes at me
I have the strength
Of Jesus Christ
And He has a plan for me

His plan is victory
His plan is peace
His plan is perfect
His plan is for me
His plan will take me
To blessings untold
I want to follow His plan

In Him is mercy
In Him is grace
In Him I cannot go wrong
He will protect me
Watch over me
He makes my weakness strong

I pray I will walk
Daily with Him
Not leaving His precious side
I’ll never turn back
I’ll follow His ways
All the days of my life
