It’s not the proud and the arrogant who prospers
It’s not the one who lifts up himself
But it’s those who bow down and worship
The Lamb who is seated on the throne

Those who exalt themselves will be brought low

I have walked many places in my life
In the valleys and the mountains and the woods 
I have seen many sights
I have taken many flights 
And through all of it my life has been quite good 

Walking through childhood was fun and games
Walking through the teens i was bored
Then i walked through drugs
And booze and many lusts
Before I started walking with the Lord

There's nothing like walking with Jesus
He guides me through every mistake 
And when I go astray 
He helps find my way
He'll carry me if that’s what it takes

Walking with my Lord brings peace and joy
Walking with my Lord brings hope
He brings me new life
Through His great sacrifice
His love is walking with me as I go

Through trouble and pain
Through heartaches and hurt
Through valleys and storms
Across deserts through floods
He will part rivers
He’ll open the seas
He’ll knock down mountains

He’ll save me from every distress

I was walking down the road the other day
When I saw a man out baling His hay
And I asked myself what price he paid
To bring the harvest in that day

Then on down the road a cornfield grew
It was ready for the harvest, this I knew
And I wondered how much the farmer would do
To bring in all the sheaves that grew

The fields are ripe for the harvest
The master is ready to arrive
We better get busy, there’s no time to waste
The harvest is now. Soon it will be too late
Each one can reach one, help them get saved
The harvest could come any day.

Jesus told us to preach the good word to all
Have I listened closely and answered the call
This is no time to wait, this is not time to stall
He wants more than one. He wants them all

All are lost and gone astray
They need our help to find the way
Trust in the Lord, it’s time to obey
He will give you the words to say
