It seemed inevitable that Suzy 
would never find her way 
out of the sinful life that she had come to know
It seemed impossible the wall of doubt
Would tumble down 
so faith could rise out of the ashes down below
I couldn’t seem to reach her
My words all wound up short
I tried to speak one name into her heart

Then one eventful day I saw
	A ray of hope appear 
	In the darkness that had gripped her soul so long
The glistening of light
	Began to spread into her heart
And for the first time in forever her lips let out a song
When I heard the words, I cried
From the joy that was inside
She sang the name that I had loved so long

There was a peace within her coice that all could hear

“Now Suzy walks victorious
	Each day her smile has overcome
