Valuable Time

It seems that my time is fleeting
The day’s gone before it begins
Then when I look back
It seems that I lack
Anything that would last in the end

I observe how my day proceeded
To see if there’s something I missed
The thought came to mind
I did not carve time
To spend with my Savior and Lord

I bow down and make a commitment
That upcoming days I will change
I’ll start out the day
With prayer and with praise
Then my time will have value again

  1. “It seems that I lack anything that would last in the end.” I love that Pete. It made think about, our prayers and life with God will be the only thing that will “last to the end,” and be for an eternity. I think all of us would do well to contemplate that daily, especially when something seems so important to us outside of God. Love it and God Bless, SR

  2. I would like to believe, that I have the discipline and faith to die to myself; but I know I do not. Tho, every day I try. Oh, if I could succeed: then time would not matter. I could have every moment free, free of everything and give and lean solely on our Lord and His Blessed Mother

    1. Thank you for your comment. I believe we all struggle with dying to self. The only way to truly get ahead is to spend more time in the word and in prayer. Psalm 119 is a great place to spend some time. I have been blessed and studying that for the last 9 weeks. Might I suggest you slowly read through that Psalm several times? It will bless you
