Are You Alive?

Are you alive?
Is blood flowing through your veins?
Is your heart beating?
Are you breathing?
Then praise the Lord!
That is all that matters
No trial should keep us from praising Him
No test,
No sickness
No injury
No heartache
No setback
No hurt
Nothing should keep us from Praising Him
Not because He blesses me,
Not because He saved me
Not because He delivers me
Not because He heals me
Not because He guides me
But just because He is!
Let everything that hath breath
Praise the Lord!

Jesus, I’m in Awe of You

Jesus, I’m In Awe of You

When I think about the way that you reach out to me
I am in awe of you
When I think about the way you gave your life for me
I am in awe of you
When I think about the fact you died on Calvary
I am in awe of you
Jesus, I’m in awe of you.

When I feel your presence close and I hear you call my name
I am in awe of you
That your mercy would reach down and cover all my shame
I am in awe of you
When I realize your grace has taken all my pain
I am in awe of you
Jesus I’m in awe of you

You pick me up when I am down
You hold my hand when I’m alone
You call my name when I feel sad
You Fill my heart and make me glad
You heal my wounds when they are sore’
You fill my cup when I am poor
You give me strength when I am weak
You’re always right there when I seek

When I think about your spirit guiding me along the way
I am in awe of you
When I think about your healing that touches me each day
I am in awe of you
When I think about how lost I’d be if I did not have you
I am in awe of you
Jesus, I’m in awe of you.

Christmas Poetry

Join The Chorus

I see cherubim and seraphim as they dance in sheer delight.
The elders bow before the Lamb as he comes full in their sight.
The sound of anthems fill the skies and the clouds bear majesty
As we sing around His throne

All hail the King, who is sitting on the throne
All hail the one who came to earth below.
He chose to bleed and die
So that I could have new life.

Now the heavens sound his praise forevermore.
As angels gather ’round the throne of God, and their praises soar to the heavens,
I enter the throne room and bow on my face at the sight of Holy splendor.
I hear loud hosannas ring, and Hallelujahs sing,
And I can’t help but join the chorus with my praise

All hail the King, who is sitting on the throne.
All hail the one who came to earth below.
He chose to bleed and die
So that I could have new life.

Now the heavens sound his praise forevermore.
Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah to the King.
Loud Hosannas in the highest is the chorus that we sing.

I Can’t Help But Praise His Name

When I consider all that He has done for me
When I consider all the love that came from Calvary
When I consider that he died so I could be set free
I can’t help but praise His name

When I look up to the heavens and see His majesty
When I see the trees to colors and the wind blow mightily
When I hear the bird sing sweetly as the sun dawns in the East
I can’t help but praise His name

He is always there to guide me
Always right beside me
Always there to pick me up if I should start to fall
He is there to hear my prayers
He is there to dry my tears
That is why I praise His name

When I lie my body down, and try to go to sleep
I can hear His voice speak softly as the day fades quietly
He whispers in my ear “My Son I love you, Oh so dear”
I can’t help but praise His name.

Praise to God

You are my King. You are my Lord
You are my Savior forevermore
You are my shield. You are my sword
you are my anchor in the storm
All of my hope is in you
All of my life I give to you
Praise, Praise to God
You are worthy of all my praise
Praise, Praise to God
I will worship you
And lift your name on high
You are my rock, My mighty tower
You are my fortress filled with power
You are my faith. my hope and love
You are the one I’ll always love
All of my hope is in you
All of my life I give to you.
Praise, Praise to God
You are worthy of all my praise
Praise, Praise to God
I will worship you
And lift your name on high
You give me life, you give me hope
You give me breath to keep me strong
You are my light, my righteousness
You are the one, you are the best!
Praise, Praise to God
You are worthy of all my praise
Praise, Praise to God
I will worship you
And lift your name on high

Hallelujah, He’s Alive

A knock at the door
Who could it be?
This early morning
As we hid in fear
A voice cries out
It’s Mary, frantic
The tomb is open
He is not there!
He met me in the garden
He has risen indeed
Just as He said
He will come to you!
We run quickly to see
Inside, just a towel
Wrapped and neatly folded
No sign of Jesus.
Who rolled the stone away?
Who got past the guards?
What did they do with His body?
How can this be?
We returned to the house
More devastated then before
How can this be?
is He really risen?
Then he appeared
Shining and alive
Scars in His hands and feet
No doubt it was Jesus
We bowed and worshiped
He said I have risen
Just as I said
And now I will be with you always
Hallelujah – He has Risen
Hallelujah – He’s alive
Hallelujah – He is with us
He’ll never leave my side
Hallelujah – I’m forgiven
Hallelujah – I’m set free
Hallelujah – Christ is risen
And sent His Spirit to me

All For His Glory

The mountains bow down
The seas wave
The trees lift their arms
All for His glory

The birds sing their song
The lion roars
The ants build their kingdoms
All for His glory

The sun rises majestically
The moon reflects the light
The stars shine brightly in the dark
All for His glory

All of creation shows His handiwork
All creatures sing His praises
All that have breath praise Him
All for His glory

So should I
I should sing His praises
I should do His will
I should tell others of His love
All for His glory

Declare His mighty works
Tell of His excellent love to us
Shout out in worship to His name
All for His glory

This is what I was designed to do
This is why He made me in my mother’s womb
This is why he gave me breath
To give Him glory
So glorify His name
Shout it from the housetops
Display His wonderful love to others
That they also may know
His glory!

More Than Worthy

He is worthy of our praise
He is worthy of our wonder
He is worthy of our reverence
He is worthy of all honor
For He, the Lord, has set us free
He has pulled us up out of the miry clay
And set our feet on the rock to stay
He has opened our blinded eyes
So that we may see the light
The Lord is great, and awesome in all His ways
He causes me to be at peace in His arms
And He lifts me up when I am down
He places His spirit within me
To guide me and teach me His ways
He gives me wings as an eagle
To soar above the trials of life
He opens my heart to hear
His wonderful words of life
He is an awesome, most Holy God
I will lift His name on high
I will declare His goodness to all I meet
I will give glory to Him wherever I go
For He is worthy, more than worth
