He could have left us in our sinful condition
Left us no hope and no ambition
Left us in deep despair within our hearts
He didn't have to send His own son
To die on a cross our souls to ransom
He didn't have to come into my heart

But He loved us so much He gave us
His only Son to die and save us
Mercy was given long ago on the cross

Merciful God, so full of goodness
Merciful God, you always loved us
Even when we were deep in sin and shame,
Merciful God, I sing this love song
Merciful God, I praise your one Son
Jesus my Lord, I praise your holy name

Jesus, Savior and Lord
Jesus, the one I adore
Jesus, the King of all Kings
Jesus, master of all things
Jesus, I love you forever
Jesus, your grace is a favor
Jesus, merciful God to me.

His Grace Is Greater

Than all my troubles
He watches o’er me
When I fall down

His grace is greater
Than all my weakness
He keeps me floating
When I could drown

Than all my struggles
He walks beside me
When I’m alone

His grace is greater
Than my temptations
He speaks so softly
And gives me hope
Just enough for today
And not for tomorrow
Yesterday’s grace is gone

Like the manna from heaven
I have to depend on Him

Greater than all my life could need

God’s grace
Grace that is greater than anything.

Partakers of His Grace

We are partakers of His grace
Jesus Christ died to extend His grace to us
Grace that forgives sin
Grace that sets the captive free
Grace that heals the sick
Grace that opens blinded eyes
Grace that raises the dead
Grace that makes the lame to walk
Grace that Loves unconditionally

Are we extending that grace to others?
Are we forgiving those who sin against us?
Are we setting captives free by proclaiming victory in their lives?
I we praying for the sick in faith, so that they recover?
Are we opening eyes that are blinded to the truth?
Are we raising up those that are spiritually dead?
Are we helping the young Christians to walk?
Are we showing His love to everyone we meet?
Don’t just be a partaker in His grace - allow others to partake of yours!

Sometimes I feel like I’m dancing on a moon beam in the night
Sometimes I feel like I’m running
Your love is always quite stunning
Your mercy lifts me higher into this fullness of life

Often, I feel you around me like the leaves surround a tree
Often, I feel you beside me in a quiet gentle breeze 
Often, you heal all my sickness
Often, you strengthen my weakness
Your mercy lifts me higher more than anything

Mercy surrounds me
Mercy abounds to me 
Your mercy lifts me higher. Higher than anything
Mercy grows within me
Mercy flows out from me
Your mercy lifts me higher.  Higher and anything

Daily I feel your presence guiding me everywhere 
Daily I feel your passion as I give my voice to prayer

Great Disgrace

What else can I do but be myself
I cannot just copy somebody else
I have to rely on what the Lord has given me

But I often I think this life is hard
I try to pretend that I am smart
And now I am falling hard and no one will rescue me

Help me to see the path that I have walked
Help me to learn the voice that leads me to the dark
Help me to leave my foolish pride behind admitting my mistakes
And humbly bow before your throne in great disgrace

Have mercy, Lord, on me
I bow down at your feet and humbly plea
I didn’t listen.  I wasn’t wise
I could not see the enemy’s eyes
Have mercy, precious Lord, on me

Now I know what to do with this mess
I come to you now and I confess
Greed and alluring talk of grandeur led me astray

I will walk out of my despair
I will come up and small the air
You shine a light along my path to show me the way

You help me see the path that I have walked
You help me learn the voice that led me to the dark
You help me leave my foolish pride behind and look on up ahead
There you await with open arms and calm my fear

Have mercy, Lord on me
I bow down at your feet and humbly plea
I will now listen.  I’ll open my eyes
I will turn to you to help me be wise
Have mercy, precious Lord, on me

The Mercy That I Seek

Waiting for my praise to rise to Him
Somewhere in my deepest need He answers
Filling me with His amazing grace
Somewhere in my heart there is a witness 
Urging me to bring more souls to Him
Somewhere in my weakness He will strengthen
Sending me to sow the seeds of faith

I just need to cry out
I just need to listen
I just need to hear Him when He speaks
I just need to praise Him
I just need to worship
He will give the mercy that I seek

How amazing is our God
Oh, how gracious is His love
Oh, how wonderful He is each day to me

slowly shaping into our life 
To replenish us

renew us 
revive us

Mercy comes softly 
like a quiet breeze in the fall
bringing cool sensations of 
peace in my heart 
my soul 
my mind 
my spirit

Mercy comes softly
like a bubbling steam
flowing down the mountainside into a larger river 
filling it with
fresh life 
fresh nutrition 
fresh energy
fresh strength

Mercy comes softly
like a fluffy snow on a windless day
covering the earth all around us
cleaning all it falls upon
making it look fresh
unblemished
new
beautiful

Mercy some softly into our lives
Every minute of every day
Never leaving us helpless and alone
Guiding us
Shaping us
Protecting us
Providing for us

Don’t miss it
Treasure it
Recognize it when it comes
Give thanks to God
Lift up His name
He will lift you up and out
Of any trial
Any test
Any temptation
Because in the blink of an eye
When you list expect it
But most need it
