I sit a round and marvel how the Lord could love me so
He lavishes His grace on me and makes His blessings flow
I think about the times that I cursed His holy name
I ran from Him a million times and got so far away

In retrospective I can see He never left my side
Throughout those trying years He was protecting my hard life
He knew the plans He had for me though I had not a clue
He patiently stood by knowing one day I’d come through

Now I love to serve Him and lift His holy name
Daily I cry out to Him and give Him all my praise
I thank Him that He loved me when I did not love Him
I’ll never cease to offer up my worship unto Him
