There seem to be more labels
On the stuff we buy today
I just cannot get over
The message they convey
A jar of peanuts warning
That peanuts here reside
A shirt that says don’t iron
While you are still inside
There is one label needed
On life that I don’t see
Make sure you trust in Jesus
Before death swallows thee
In response to the daily prompt Warning
This is such a humorous, touching, and sweet poem. I absolutely adore this.
