Ten Lepers

Ten lepers heard that Jesus Christ
Was coming soon their way
He was passing by their camp
It could be most any day

They knew that He had healed the sick
And made the lame to walk
He opened eyes and ears for some
And made the deaf to talk

So they thought perhaps if He would pray
Their leprosy would go
The called out to Him as He passed
And He turned around real slow

Walking over to them, Jesus smiled
And reached out with His hand
He prayed, and touched them one by one
And their sores dried up again

Jesus sent them to the priest
And he’d pronounce them clean
Their lives would be restored
They’d return to family

Rejoicing, they all went
Down the road to their new lives
But one of them turned back
And came to Jesus side

He told the Master thank you
Then Jesus smiled and said
My son, you are made whole
Your body is no longer dead
All your sores are vanished
Your skin again does shine
Now go your way rejoicing
But where are the other nine?

The former leper turned to Him
And said I do not know
He thanked Him one more time
And headed down the road

You see that simple thank you
Made quite a difference
Instead of only being cleansed
That leper was made whole
No more scars to show His plight
No more nasty skin
He had a new life now to live
Again He would begin

The lesson for us all in this
Is to always be aware
When Jesus comes and touches us
That Thank You should be said

I Can’t Thank You Enough

I can't thank you enough
For all you've done for me
You came down from heaven
To bear Calvary's tree
I can't thank you enough
For all you've done for me
You gently knocked on the door of my heart

I can't love you enough
For all you've done for me
You gave me your love and took my misery
I can't love you enough
For all you've done for me
You gently knocked on the door of my heart

Lamb of God, Messiah
I am yours forever
Holy, holy, holy is your name
King of Kings, my Savior
Merciful forever
I will never, ever walk away.

I can't praise you enough
For what you've done for me
You poured out grace and gave me mercy
I can't praise you enough
For what you've done for me
You gently knocked on the door of my heart

I can't serve you enough
For all you've done for me
You took off your crown and gently washed my feet
I can't serve you enough
For all you've done for me
You gently knocked on the door of my heart

Lamb of God, Messiah
I am yours forever
Holy, holy, holy is your name
King of Kings, my Savior
Merciful forever
I will never, ever walk away.

I Exalt You, Lord

I exalt you, Lord.

I lift up your name with my whole heart.
I honor you with my first words every morning
And until my last breath at night.
You watch over me from on high.
You keep me safe in times of trouble.
You provide my every need.
You bring me help when I am weak
And strength when I am weak.
I look to your word to guide m
And I trust your Holy Spirit to show me which way to turn.
He keeps me safe from all harm.
Thank you, Lord for looking over me.
Thank you, Lord for looking over my family.
Thank you, Lord for looking over my grandchildren.
Thank you, Lord for abundant blessings and friends.
May I continually lift your name on high
And make my presence known to those around me.
May I never be shy or bashful about my faith.
I exalt you, Lord.

It’s Time to Give Thanks

It's time to give thanks for all He has done

For the air that we breath
For the sun that gives us light by day
And the moon that shines at night
For the starry host that twinkles in the night sky
It's time to give thanks
It’s time to give thanks for all He has done
For the birds that welcome the sunrise
And the coyotes who welcome the moonshine
For the majestic eagle that soars high above
And the majesty of the dolphin as he breaks the water.
It's time to give thanks
It's time to give thanks for all He has done
For the abilities that he has given to me
To see, hear, smell, taste and touch
To have fingers to feel and legs to walk
And lungs that can take in breath, a heart that pumps
It's time to give thanks
It's time to give thanks for all He has done
For the family he has put into my life
And the friends that He's brought my way
For the work He has placed me in
And for the food He puts on my table
It's time to give thanks
It's time to give thanks for all He has done
He has given us His only Son
Who died on a tree to set us free
Who rose again to give life eternally
All II must do is accept and believe
It's time to give thanks
If you have not made Him Lord today
Just bow your head and these words pray
Father I've sinned and don't deserve grace
I know that Jesus died in my place
I know that you've covered me with your grace
So please forgive my many sins
And bring me peace and joy within.
Lord, I ask you into my heart.
Take my life and make it yours.,
If you prayed this prayer today
Rejoice, rejoice in Jesus name.
You've been set free, your heaven bound
Now go and find a church in town
And get involved and learn of Him
And give Him thanks for all He's done.
