I sit here and wait for an answer from God
Only He knows the day He will answer my call
I do not have to fear what tomorrow may bring
So I'll sit right here waiting for Him.
His timing is perfect, on Him I rely
Even though I can't see it He's working inside
I just have to sit here and offer my prayer
He'll always come through, He'll always be there.
So I sit here waiting on an answer from Him
I'll wait 'til He answers and I'll ask again
Because one small request said a million times o'er
Is better than one that is uttered so sure
How about you? Can you just wait on Him?
Or do you require an answer right quick
perhaps He knows best, and your answer will come
When He knows you're ready to receive what He's done
