One day this old world will be left far behind
My troubles will all disappear
Since I have accepted my sweet Saviors love
I look for that day He appears
My eyes will look upward to clouds overhead
And suddenly He will arrive
And all who have made Him their Savior and Lord
Will rise up to meet in the skies
On that day we’ll be dancing to heavenly choirs
On that day we will pass pearly gates
On that day we will have no more pain, no more tears
On that day we will see Jesus face
Singing power and glory and honor and praise
To the Lamb seated high on the throne
Seeing cherubim dancing a heavenly dance
To the King who has called us His own
That day will come soon so don’t wait any more
To tell all your friends it is near
Let your loved ones all hear the great power of His love
And pray that they’ll open their ears
And when Jesus arrives they will rise up with Him
And will be carried into His arms
Then they’ll rejoice with us as we enter those gates
Where will spend all eternity time
On that day we’ll be dancing to heavenly choirs
