Happy 65

Today’s my birthday
I’m alive
I finally got to
65

If you had said
A year ago
That the next year
Would end up so

I would have told you
There’s no way
That I’d go through
What came my way

But here I sit
My feet unsure
My shoulder stuck
Cancer not cured

All these things
Will come about
I trust my God
I have no doubt

And in the end
The Lord will win
I’ll be all healed
Without, within

As for now
I’ll sing His praise
I’ll worship Him
I’ll lift His name

For He is worthy
Everyday
Of all my worship
All my praise
